Bernice M.E. Linville, 1911-2003, Cole Camp
Bernice Mary Emma Linville, 91, of Cole Camp, born Dec. 30, 1911, near Lincoln, a daughter of Henry F.W. and Emma Holtzen Tubesing. On March 8, 1936, at her mother's home near Lincoln, she was died Jan. 20, 1975.
Mrs. Linville grew up on a farm north of Lincoln. After marriage, she was a homemaker on a farm near Cole Camp. She moved to Cole Camp after her husband's Cemetery in Cole Camp.
Pallbearers will be Robert Leisman, Jim Case, Rodney Tobaben, Frank Tobaben, Calvin Harms and Robert Harms. Honorary pallbearers will be Rufus Fisher, Uel Harms and Linville Harms.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church Kitchen Fund or Immanuel Lutheran died Friday, May 30, 2003, at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton.

John L. Durham, 1922-2003, Warsaw
John Lloyd Durham, 81, of Warsaw born Jan. 28, 1922, in Warsaw, a son of John Wesley and Minnie Johnson Durham.
Mr. Durham grew up in Benton County and graduated from Warsaw High School.
On Nov. 16, 1942, he was inducted into the Army. He served in Europe as a private first class in the infantry with the 369th Engineers, Battalion C, of the Super 6th Armored Division.
He was involved in the Normandy invasion, and participated in campaigns in Northern France, the Rhineland, the Ardennes and Central Europe. He faced his most dangerous combat duty during the Battle of the Bulge in the final months of World War II.
He received the Bronze Star Medal for service above and beyond the call of duty. He also earned the Combat Infantry Badge and the Good Conduct Medal.
Following his discharge on Nov. 19, 1945, he returned home to Warsaw.
On June 1, 1947, he was Cemetery in Warsaw with military rites by VFW Post 5894 and American Legion Post 217.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be left in care of the funeral home for the Baptist Ridge Camp, VFW Post 5894 building fund, or the First Baptist Church Choir.

James Lee May, 57, of Richland, born Feb. 21, 1946, in Sedalia, a son of James Clark and Dorothy Kinder May. He was Cemetery in Richland.
Alice M. Curry, 1929-2003, Puxico
Alice Marie Curry, 73, of Puxico, born July 1, 1929, in Omaha, Neb. On Nov. 10, 1951, in Glenwood, Iowa, she was Funeral Service in Wappapello.
