Elsie M. Potter, 1920-2003, Warsaw
Elsie M. Potter, 82, of Warsaw, born Dec. 4, 1920, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of John Michael and Frederika Pinther Kohler. In 1940, she was died in 1980.
Mrs. Potter grew up in New York, where she graduated from high school. She lived in the metropolitan Kansas City area until she moved to Warsaw in 1978. She was a clerk and a receptionist for the Benton County Health Department for 20 years. She moved to Arkansas about a month ago to live with her daughter.
Surviving are a son, John Potter of Palmdale, Calif.; a daughter, Johanna Cox of Quitman, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, George Lee Porter Jr.; and a brother, Joseph Kohler.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will be in Rose Hill died Thursday, May 29, 2003, at the Lutheran Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Concordia.
She was married to Theodore Lindemann, who married to Leonard Lovercamp, who Cemetery in Sweet Springs. Friends may call from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Charles F. Calton, 1943-2003, Tuscumbia
Charles Franklin Calton, 60, of Tuscumbia, born May 7, 1943, in Barnett, a son of Charles and Ada McCasland Calton.
Mr. Calton was a farmer in Tuscumbia for 36 years. He enjoyed being a father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He liked helping people. He helped raise a niece, Lisa Crenshaw, and a nephew, Patrick Harrison.
Surviving are three sons, Rick Calton of St. James, James Calton of Eldon and Darrell Calton of Russellville; two brothers, Billy Don Calton of Eldon and Lonnie Calton of Terre Haute, Ind.; four sisters, Nellie Hensley of Kansas City, Ruby Gardner of Pasadena, Calif., Lelia Thomson of Terre Haute and Grace Gibbs of Tipton; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; four sisters, Irene, June, Betty and Jane; and two brothers, Bobby and John.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will be in Versailles died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was married to Ladine Cassidy, who survives of the home.
Mr. Evans was a painter for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. He was a former member of Sedalia Lodge No. 236 AF&AM;, the Moose Lodge and Painters Union No. 786.
Also surviving are a daughter, Donna Morgan of Sedalia; six grandchildren; a step granddaughter; nine great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Richard T. Evans; a brother, Robert "Bob" Evans; and four sisters, Edythe Choin, Nova Burrus, Florence Livingston and Ruby Countryman.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Bob Wasson officiating. Pallbearers will be Chad Morgan, Jason Morgan, Don Cea, Mark Funke, Barry Evans and Bob Hartley. Honorary pallbearers will be LeRoy Ryan, Bill Junior Hill, Leonard Christner, Gus Billiuris, Eddie Wise and Rick Findley. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
She was married to Orville Frank Martin, who married to Lonnie Harold Dickerson, who Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home in Houstonia, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Fillmore J. Werths, 1915-2003, Concordia
Fillmore J. Werths, 88, of Concordia, born March 31, 1915, in Concordia, a son of John and Minnie Semler Werths. On Dec. 10, 1933, he was died Jan. 14, 1992.
Mr. Werths moved to Concordia 33 years ago from Independence. He was a retired truck driver for Navajo Truckline, formerly Brooks Trucking. He also worked at Hall Motor Co. in Sweet Springs and Lew Schnakenberg Automotive in Concordia. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Concordia and the Teamsters Local 41 in Kansas City.
Surviving are a son, Robert Werths of Concordia; a daughter, Barbara Wynne of Concordia; a brother, Obed Werths of Concordia; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Mildred "Toodie" Moehlman; two brothers; and five sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Concordia. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Moehlman, Danny Werths, David Werths, Steve Werths, Travis Werths, Thomas Wynne and Johnnie Wynne. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Moehlman, Corey Wynne, Davin Werths, Austin Werths, Susan Reeves and Collin Werths. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
