Kevin A. Bartolazzi, 1960-2007, Arizona
Kevin Anthony Bartolazzi, 46, of Arizona, formerly of Sedalia, born July 19, 1960, in Springfield, Ill., a son of Peter J. and Sue Bartolazzi.
Mr. Bartolazzi was a graduate of Smithton High School and Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Okla. He was a children's minister for several years. He had been a member of Pettis County Fire Department with the rank of lieutenant.
Surviving are two children, Elizabeth Bartolazzi and David Bartolazzi, both of Sedalia; his mother and stepfather, Sue and Jack Menges, of Sedalia, his father and stepmother, Peter J. and Dee Bartolazzi, of Kaukauna, Wis.; three brothers, Keith Bartolazzi, of Craig, Colo., Pete Bartolazzi, of Porter, Okla., and Thomas Bartolazzi, of Kaukauna; and three sisters, Lissa Brown, of Sedalia, Angela Boudreau, of Kaukauna, and Theresa Bellile, of Hortonville, Wis.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Creation Bible Church in Sedalia.
Theodore F. Claphan, 1948-2007, Tipton
Theodore Fain Claphan, 58, of Tipton, born July 29, 1948, in Lawton, Okla., a son of Alvin Sr. and Betty Isley Motley. On April 19, 1991, in Georgetown, Texas, he was died June 2, 2002.
Mr. Claphan was a logger, until he was in an accident in 1974. He later did home repairs. He loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles and spending time with his dog, Harley. He liked playing pool and cutting wood.
Surviving are three sons, Elza Wayne Claphan, T.W. Claphan and Montie Claphan, all of Oklahoma; a stepson, Mark Bernard, of Oklahoma; a daughter, Angela Brandes, of Tipton; two brothers, Alvin Motley Jr., and Oral Pedigo, both of Oklahoma; three sisters, Neva Winn, Betty Sherbourne and Martha Mills, all of Oklahoma; and 16 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Tracey Claphan; a stepson, Larry Rollins; and a sister, Charlotte.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Butler died Monday, March 5, 2007, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.
She was married to Frank A. Riley, who died Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.

Loyetta L. Shireman-Quigley, 1922-2007, Stover
Loyetta L. Shireman-Quigley, 84, of Stover, born April 1, 1922, in Stover, a daughter of Otto and Laura Wiechert Koester. On April 20, 1941, she was died July 12, 1982. On April 14, 1990, she was died Nov. 14, 2005.
Mrs. Shireman-Quigley retired from KC Auto Supply as a bookkeeper. She lived in Independence, before moving to Stover. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover, where she sang in the choir, was a member of Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She also volunteered at St. Paul's School. She enjoyed quilting.
Surviving are a son, Larry Shireman, of Ft. Madison, Iowa; a daughter, Wanita Evans, and her husband, Carol, of Springfield.; a brother, C.J. Koester, of Marshall; a sister, Lucille Keller, of Mexico, Mo.; a son-in-law, Eldred H. "Zeke" Osiek, of Independence; a daughter-in-law, Joye Shireman-Freeman, of Oro Valley, Ariz.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a son, LeRoy Shireman; a daughter, Wilma Osiek; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Shireman; a brother, Arthur Koester; and a sister, Aurelia Fischer.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover, with the Rev. Cecil Murdock officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills died Sunday, March 4, 2007, at The Living Center in Marshall.
He was married to Wilma Jeanne Lilleston, who married to Pauline Brewer, who survives.
Mr. Brewer moved to Marshall from Clinton five years ago. He was a meat cutter for Safeway for 45 years. He was a graduate of Warrensburg High School and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton.
Also surviving are a son, Dick Brewer, and his wife, Linda, of Marshall; a daughter, Mary Lee Foglesong, of Harbor, Ore.; a sister, Edna Whiteman, of Liberty; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also predeceased by three sisters, a step grandson and a son-in-law, George Foglesong.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Pallbearers will be Gene Griffith, Bud Griffith, Wallace Tivis, James Tivis, Kurt Whiteman and Kyle Whiteman. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens died Friday, March 2, 2007, at his home.
He was married to Alice Walker, who married to Eula R. Siercks Pottorff, who survives of the home.
Mr. Miller was raised in the Manila area, attending grade school there. Growing up in the Depression, he worked at whatever jobs he could find, mainly as a farm hand and wood cutter. He also worked at Swift's poultry processing plant, and other jobs. He was primarily an automobile mechanic. He worked at several car dealerships and repair garages, including E.W. Thompson Chevrolet, Cal Rogers Pontiac, Bill Greer Ford, and Bob Chancellor Motors, and at Whiteman Airforce Base. He also worked at Walker Ford in Windsor, and Clark-Boos Ford in Clinton, before retiring in 1980.
Mr. Miller enjoyed quail hunting and his bird dogs, Farmall tractors, pickup trucks, and music, especially Ernest Tubb and bluegrass. He attended many dances held in the area and he was selected to appear on KMOS television as a square dancer in the 1960s. For the last 10 years he and his black Lab, Rutger, were virtually inseparable. He was known as an active, hard working man until ill health in recent months rendered him unable to continue.
Also surviving are a son, Ron Miller, of green Ridge, and his fiancé, Janie Theisen, of Sedalia; a step-daughter, Linda Schutte, and her husband, Warren, of Cole Camp; a nephew, Kenny Elliot; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was also predeceased by a daughter, Margaret, who Cemetery near Manila. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
