Paul Kenneth DeWitt
Paul Kenneth DeWitt, 48, of Kansas City, formerly of Sedalia, born August 10, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Roy A. and Donna Holman DeWitt.
Mr. DeWitt was an active member and loved by many at Antioch Bible Baptist Church and Hopewell Baptist Church. He is fondly remembered by friends at Tri-County Health Services. Paul never met a stranger and was an avid Kansas City sports fan and country music lover. His family loved him and he will always be remembered. He was a graduate of State Fair Community College where he earned an Associates Degree in Agriculture.
Survivors include his mother, Donna DeWitt VanBuren; sister, Pam Frantz, and her husband, Greg; a brother, Dave DeWitt, and his wife, Lisa; his grandmother, Wilma Holman; his uncle, Dennis Holman, and his wife, Donna; his aunt, Julie Triplett, and her husband, Homer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2004 at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Ed Broyles officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell died Saturday, July 19, 2003, at his home.

Martha M. Ditzfeld
Martha May Ditzfeld, 85, of Sedalia, born November 6, 1918, in Sedalia, daughter of George Edwin and Maude Croy Allcorn. On August 21, 1938, in Sedalia, she died December 30, 1989.
Mrs. Ditzfeld was a member of Goodwill Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, Methodist Youth Fellowship leader and a member of Woman’s Society of Christian Service. She was also a 4-H Leader and former Gray Lady volunteer. She liked to garden, and play cards and bingo. She enjoyed her family and their activities. She was a 1936 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. Mrs. Ditzfeld was a homemaker and was a CNA at the Children’s Clinic for 10 years. She was an Avon salesperson and a member of the President’s Club.
Survivors include a son, Ray E. Ditzfeld, of Ashland; two daughters, Pearl C. Hayes, of Sedalia, and Marilyn J. Thomas, of Columbia; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Goodwill Chapel United Methodist Church.
Larry A. Dotson
Larry Alan Dotson, 39, of Sedalia, born June 28, 1965, in Sedalia, son of Larry Joseph and Alice Blaylock Dotson. He was death by his father on November 8, 1993; his maternal grandparents, Harold and Mary Blaylock; and his paternal grandfather, Laurence Dotson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Todd W. Butler officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch died Sunday, August 15, 2004 at Four Seasons Living Center.
She was married to James Roscoe Douglas, who Cemetery.
Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
Lee Ernest Dow
Lee Ernest Dow, 84, of Georgetown, born April 20, 1919, in Sedalia, son of Ralph and Ella Riecke Dow. On March 14, 1941, in Sedalia, he death by a daughter, Ella Kreisel; six brothers, Frank Dow, David Dow, Ralph "Stub" Dow, Riecke Dow, John Dow and Paul Dow; and a sister, Ella Dow McVean.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Kenny Cripe officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Powell, George McConnell, Carl Mittelhauser, Jeff Mittelhauser, W.R. Dow and Herbert Mittelhauser.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Lewis, Charles Huddelston, Kyle Dow, Crystal Dow, Camie Dow, Nichole Kreisel and Lisa Dow Britson.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.
The family suggests contributions to the Georgetown Methodist Church Steeple Fund.
