Mr. Donald W. Baldwin
Donald Warren Baldwin, 71, of Sedalia, born January 14, 1932, in Pettis County, son of John B. and Zelphia Bishop Baldwin. On August 7, 1957, in Clifton City, he died February 17, 2002.
Mr. Baldwin was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591, American Legion Post 642, Elks Lodge BPOE, and was a Scottish Rite Mason. He retired in 1979 after 30 years of service in the United States Army with the rank Sergeant Major. After retiring he worked for Waterloo Industries.
Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Hartley, of Sedalia, and Lynn Naylor, of Warsaw; two sons, Dee Baldwin, of Aurora, Colorado, and Tracy Baldwin, of Independence; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Blake, of Sedalia.
Memorial services and burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 13 at Memorial Park died Thursday, April 15, 2004 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was married Ralph W. Banning, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Banning was a member of Broadway Presbyterian Church. She had worked as a proofreader for the Sedalia Democrat and as a secretary for the Wray Schroeder and Mac McMillin State Farm Insurance agencies, retiring in 1991.
Also surviving are a son, Rob Banning, and his wife, Susan; and two grandchildren, Shelley and Ryan Banning, all of St. Louis.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2004 at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Vicki Rucker officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mac McMillin, Kevin Schroeder, Wiley Walter, Joe Waters, J.W. Rissler and Norman Klein.

Friends may call after 12 noon Sunday, April 18, 2004 at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
Lois Ann Berry
Lois Ann Berry, 59, of Sedalia, born December 14, 1944, in Memphis, Tennessee, daughter of David Alfred and Lena Odessa Foster Childress.
Ms. Berry was a greeter and checker at Wal-Mart in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Survivors include a son, Boyce Berry, of Sedalia; three daughters, Angelina Clark, of Evergreen, Colorado, Marion Berry, of Plant City, Florida, and Deanna Rasberry, of Franklin, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; four brothers; and a sister.
She was preceded in died Sunday, October 19, 2003, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
He was married to Viola Harmon, who married to Arlene Deal Borgman, who survives of the home.
Mr. Biggs was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Saline City, Missouri. He was a livestock and row crop farmer and a heavy equipment operator for thirteen years for Howard's Central Missouri Landfill. He was a member of the American Legion Post 558 in Malta Bend, Missouri and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591. He was an United States Army veteran of World War II, serving as Technician 5th Grade in the Headquarters Company 359th Infantry, 90th Division. He received five battle stars for campaigns in Northern France, Normandy, Rhineland, Central Europe and Ardennes. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.
Survivors include his wife, Arlene Biggs of the home; two sons, Warner Biggs of Fort Walton, Florida, and Everett Tracy Biggs of Sedalia; two daughters, Frances Porter of rural Smithton, and Linda Montee, Jacksonville, Illinois; twenty-five grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Martin Biggs and Fred Biggs, both of Sedalia; and a sister, Margaret Forrest of Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in Cemetery with military rites conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Sims, Neal Shoemaker, Martin Kiehl, Max Thomas, Mike Biggs and LeRoy Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be Warner Biggs, Tracy Biggs, Delmar Cornine, Bobby Newman, Bill Davis, Bobby Johnson, Jim Werneke and Larry Ulmer.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Mt. Herman died Wednesday, December 22, 2004, at Four Seasons Living Center.
She was married Joseph Jenkins, who death by a brother, Gordon Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2004, at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Frederick Zahn officiating. The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill died Monday, January 26, 2004, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was married James Floyd Johnson, who death by a son, James Floyd Johnson, Jr.; a brother, Oscar E. Jeffries; a half brother, William Raines; a sister, Rosella Jones; and a half sister, Anna Mae Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 29 at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Brown officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jay Johnson, Don Keele, Mike Crawford, Charlie Crawford, Bobby Odom and Tom Cunningham.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery near Hughesville, with the Rev. Rusty Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.
