Kyndra Renea Renno
Kyndra Renae Renno, 4, of Lee's Summit, born March 25, 1999, in Lee's Summit, daughter of Joseph Lee and Kelly Rene Wallace Renno.
Kyndra was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and attended Longview Community College Preschool. She loved life, music, books, dance, walks in the park, preschool, church, family, friends and her pets. Her goal in life was to sing, dance and to be an angel. She will be missed sadly by all those who loved her. There will be a worldwide prayer vigilance and candle lighting Friday at the time of the burial for Kyndra. Please join us in prayer for the loss of our beloved angel who brought joy to all the world.
Survivors include her parents, Joseph and Kelly Renno, of Lee's Summit; her sister, Alison Ann Renno Van Dyke, of Sedalia; her paternal grandparents, Dr. Elmer and Peggy Van Dyke, of Sedalia; her paternal step-grandmother, Linda Renno, of Russellville; her maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Brenda Conner, of Grandview; her paternal great grandmothers, Iva Wadleigh, of Sedalia, and Juanita Conner, of Blue Springs; her maternal uncles, Casey Wallace, of Independence, and Tom Burlingame, Jr., of Sedalia; her paternal aunts, Linda O'Brien, of Sedalia, Becky Renno, of Russellville, and Leah Renno, of Russellville. She was preceded in Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 12 at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Mike Buettner and Dr. Donald Allcorn officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at her home.
She was married Kenneth O. Rhoads, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Rhoads was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She worked as a waitress at Mom and Pop’s Café and Oasis Café. She owned her own cattle operation and loved working with her cattle and tending to her flowers, going on long walks with her dog and painting. She had lived most of her life in the Sedalia area.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Rhoads, of the home; a son, Shenandoah Z. Rhoads, of the home and a daughter, Thresea J. Rhoads, of the home. She was preceded in Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Watring, Dick Parrish, Wayne McMullin, Conrad Stephens, Brad Rowland and Walt Loveland. Honorary pallbearers will be Betty Gowans, Sue Parrish, Vi McMullin, Kelly Garrett and Loree Loveland.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2004, at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Mid Missouri Humane Society.
Tyler Mitchell Richardson
Tyler Mitchell Richardson, 4 months, of Sedalia, born August 13, 2003, in Sedalia, Missouri, son of Jennifer Richardson.
Survivors include his mother, Jennifer Richardson, of the home; a brother, Trent Brandcamp, of Lincoln; a friend, Sheila Karigan, of the home; and aunts and uncles including, Amy Cross, of the home, Jamie Waibel, of Sedalia, and John Richardson, of Sedalia. He was preceded in Cemetery.
Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be given at the funeral home.
Dorothy Rittman
Dorothy Frances Rittman, 89, of Sedalia, born December 27, 1914, in Otterville, daughter of Riley James and Susan Frances Homan Edwards. On March 31, 1935, in Sedalia, she died April 15, 1993.
Mrs. Rittman was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church. She helped her husband in their dairy farm and insurance business. She enjoyed embroidering, puzzles, family reunions and liked to take walks. She was a lifelong resident of Sedalia.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Trelow, and her husband, Roy, of Sedalia; two grandchildren, Debbie Douglas, and Charles Trelow, and his wife, Donna; two great grandchildren, Kim Douglas-McFarland and Bryan Young; one great great granddaughter, Madison McFarland; and a great great grandson, Dakota Young. She was preceded in died Friday, July 25, 2003, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
He was married Gloria E. Wilkerson, who survives of the home.
Mr. Robertson was a member of Parkview Christian Church. He was a heavy equipment operator/superintendent for Howard Quarries, retiring in 1995. He loved working with the earth, his yard, flowers and trees. He and his wife had lived in Sedalia for 24 years, moving here from Marshall.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Robertson, of the home; a daughter, Jill King of Marshall; three grandchildren, Caine Langford, Robbie King and Chrissy King; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Messer of Glasgow; and two nephews. He was preceded in Cemetery in Marshall.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, at the Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where friends may call after 8:30 a.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Parkview Christian Church or to the Show-Me Christian Youth Home.
Rolland F. Rowlette, Sr.
Rolland Franklin Rowlette, Sr., 89, of Sedalia, born November 16, 1913, in Sedalia, son of Kenneth B. and Augusta D. Furnell Rowlette. He death and on September 3, 1971, in Miami, Oklahoma, he death by a brother, a sister and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with Bishop Harry B. Young, Jr., David Furnell and Duane Furnell officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591.
Pallbearers will be Charles Woods, Bill Hammerly, John Lange, Don Walz, Leo Richards and Don Tappana. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Craig, Leroy Klein, Don Wheeler, Bob Weikal, Ed Vaught, Charles Sadler and Shorty Ackers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with Masonic services following at 8:00 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Bothwell Hospice, Open Door Benevolent Ministries or the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
