Lucille Fowler, Marshall
Lucille Fowler, 82, of Marshall, born Dec. 20, 1924, in Cross Timbers, a daughter of George E. and Effie Luella Mawhiney. She was died earlier. She later was married to Charles Lee Fowler, who survives of the home.
She was a lifetime member of Community of Christ Church.
Also surviving are two daughters, Wilma Luella Green, and her husband, Larry, of Odessa, and Penny Lynn King, and her husband, Hobby; three sons, James William Case, and his wife, Suzie, of Marshall, Carl Lee Case, and his wife, Shirley Sue, of Slater, and Ron D. Garrison, of Sedalia; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two children, Bonnie Nadine Case and Melvin Ray Case; and a granddaughter, Sea Kirstin La’Trell Garrison.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall, with Elder Lindal Grechus and Elder Dorothy Poort officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Case, Mike Case, Bill Crabtree, Martin Crabtree, Tony Crabtree and Albert Reine. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Marshall. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Karla Rash, Windsor
Karla “Kricket” Bailey Rash, 42, of rural Windsor, born Sept. 9, 1964, in Bishop, Calif., a daughter of Glen Allen and Anna Beneze Bailey. On Nov. 7, 1998, in Leeton, she was died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007 at the Lincoln Community Nursing Home.
He was married Sara Stalcup, who Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 at Kansas City Hospice House.
She was married Arthur “Artie” Elwell, who died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
He was married to Evelyn Loganbill, who survives of the home.
He attended Central Bible College in Springfield and was a licensed minister in 1950. He was ordained in 1952. He ministered from 1950 to 2007, and led Assembly of God churches in Webleau, Princeton, Nevada, Iowa, Camdenton, Russellville, and Versailles as senior ministry pastor. He was a presbyter of the Northern Missouri Assemblies of God. He worked with senior citizens, making visits to the hospital, nursing homes, and shut-ins.
Also surviving are a daughter, Marilyn Hopkins, and her husband, James, of Lenexa, Kan., a son-in-law, Dan Shinn, of Gladstone; a sister, Opal Kreiling, of Versailles; a brother, Ralph Howard, of Independence; and three grandchildren, Jennifer Hanks, Jeanette Lawson, and Michael Hopkins; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Helen Shinn; a sister, Etta Campbell; and six brothers; Oscar, Ernest, John, Porter, Gail, and Gaithel Howard.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Versailles, with the Rev. Gary Petty and the Rev. Roy Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at Independence Manor Care Center in Independence.

Karen S. Miles, Cole Camp
Karen Sue Miles, 68, of rural Cole Camp, born April 25, 1939, at Orofina, Idaho, a daughter of Harry E. and Mabel Life Sondergaard. On April 18, 1960, at Holy Family Church in Mason City, Iowa, she was Cemetery in Cole Camp. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp, with visitation to follow.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the family, in care of the funeral home.
Mildred L. Smith, Marshall
Mildred Lucille Smith, 86, of Marshall, born May 24, 1921 in Sedalia, a daughter of Clyde and Margaret Heuchan Heynen. On Aug. 16, 1942, she was died Dec. 24, 2000.
She and her husband owned and operated the Valley Drive-In in Marshall for 29 years. She also managed her husband’s State Representative office. She and her husband were known for their fish dinners in Jefferson City.
Surviving are a daughter, Jamie Smith Jackson, and her husband, Michael Ontkean, of Honolulu, a son, Clyde Smith, and his wife, Lynn Dickinson, of Santa Monica, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Jenna Millman, of London, Sadie Ontkean and Aspen Smith, both of California.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
