Jacob Webb
Jacob Bryan Webb age 84 of Sedalia born on April 27, 1932 in Sedalia son of Jennings Bryan and Emma Ethel Young Webb. On April 8, 1956 in Sedalia he death on October 3, 2014. Jacob graduated from Smith-Cotton High School. Jacob served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a meat cutter most all of his working life. A member of Faith Baptist Church in Sedalia. He enjoyed bowling in the past. Jacob loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by a son; James Michael Webb of Smithton, a daughter; Debra Sue Langdon (Gary) of Sedalia, a brother; John Webb of Concordia, six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Pastor Jacob Langdon officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Esser, Bryan Langdon, Jeffrey Langdon, Bradley Langdon, Dalton Bartlett and Dale Elmlinger. Burial will be in Crown Hill died on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. She was married Dewey M. Swopes and he preceded her in death by her sisters and a brother. Cemetery north of Sedalia. Memorials may be given to Mt. Herman Baptist Church or Blind Of Central Missouri.
Debra Woods
Debra Sue Woods age 58 of La Monte, Missouri born on November 2, 1957 in Great Bend, Kansas daughter of Harold and Eva Delores Blehm Schneidewind. On March 3, 1987 in Miami, Oklahoma she Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 27, 2016 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Isaiah Butler, Tristan McHenry, Kevin Powell, Brandy Shull, Chris Read and Chris Paxton. Burial will be in Crown Hill died on May 1, 2016 at The Bluffs in Columbia, MO He was married Emmogene Cochran and she survives.
Clifford served in the Army 17th Airborne Division during WW ll.
He also is survived by a stepson, William and Marlene Dickey of Columbia, MO; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded by a son, Clifford Duane Dickey.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 6, 2016 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with the graveside service at 2:00 P.M. at Crown Hill died on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles, MO. Evelina "Evey" Turner
Evelina "Evey" Mae Turner age 77 of Green Ridge, MO born on April 25, 1939 in Sedalia daughter of Paul J. and Iva Mae Maness Shipps.
On November 15, 1957 in Green Ridge, Evey death on June 24, 2006. She started working at Adams Truck and Tractor in Sedalia after graduating from Green Ridge High School in 1957. While they were raising four children she and her husband owned Turner Heating & Air Conditioning which they operated from their farm in Green Ridge. Later they moved to Florida where she worked for the Bonita Banner Newspaper until she and her husband opened Turner Sheet Metal & Roofing in Ft. Meyers. They returned to Green Ridge many years later and re-opened Turner Heating & A/C in Sedalia which they operated until her husbands Cemetery in Sedalia. Memorials to the Bothwell Foundation in care of the Stroke Recovery Fund.
