Gladys Grogan
Gladys Viola Martin-Grogran, 100, of Sedalia, born May 31, 1904, in Houstonia, daughter of William and Ada Lou Sink Champion. On November 25, 1924, in Warrensburg, she was died September 23, 1967. In 1973, she was died in 1975.
Mrs. Grogan was a member of Parkview Christian Church and Turkey Creek Extension Club in Warsaw, where she served as president in 1966. She worked at Lamy Manufacturing for ten years. She was a graduate of Smithton High School.
Survivors include a son, Bill Martin, of Sedalia; two daughters, Bernice Lovins, of Kansas City, and Patricia Lou Bushman, of Florida; two step children; eight grandchildren; five step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Rodney Brown officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Matchael, Jon Detherage, Rick Thomas, Frank Fowler, Butch Seifner and Leon Cumpton.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
Friends may call from 12-5 p.m. Thursday and after 8 a.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Parkview Christian Church.
Jean Groepper
Jean Groepper, 80, of Sedalia, born July 30, 1923, in Ridgeway, a daughter of Lewis and Nellie Hartness Stockwell. On Aug.19, 1946, she was died December 4, 1981.
Mrs. Groepper worked as a waitress at LeRoy's Steakhouse for a number of years and had lived in the Pettis County area most of her life. She was a member of the Broadway Presbyterian Church and liked to sew, read and do crossword puzzles.
Survivors include two sons, Kerry Groepper, of Hawk Point, and Monty Groepper, of California; three brothers, Larry Stockwell, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Allan Stockwell, of Hillsboro, Wis., and Bill Stockwell, of Elkhorn, Iowa; two sisters, Juanita Adams, of Sedalia, and Pat Dills, of Omaha, Neb.; three grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was predeceased by three brothers, Harold Stockwell and two in infancy; and a sister, Roxie Schwinderman.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Larry Wheeler officiating.
There will be no family visitation, however friends may sign the guest register online at www.heckart-gillespie.com.

Mrs. Mattie Ellen Greer
Mattie Ellen Greer, 85, formerly of Sedalia, born February 27, 1918, in St. Clair, Missouri, daughter of Jesse L. and Ella Dietz Barnes. On January 30, 1938, in Sedalia, she died April 2, 1995.
Mrs. Greer was co-owner of White Swan Café in Sedalia and had lived in Sedalia most of her life.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Greer of Sedalia; a daughter, Judy Means of Woodworth, Louisiana; a half-brother, Jesse Barnes of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Donald Allcorn officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tom Denevan, Clell Furnell, Loy Holman, Tim Thompson, Joe Wasson and Craig White.
Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Messerli, Richard Mills, John McDonald and Bob Wenig.
Burial will be in Crown Hill died Sunday, March 30, 2003, at the Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was married John "Jack" Wesley Greer, who death by a son, Robert Wesley Greer; a brother in infancy; and a sister, Ruth Buxton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Longwood Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Leo Birk officiating. Burial will be in Longwood Cemetery.
Ernest D. Gray
Ernest D. Gray, 86, of Hughesville, born October 9, 1918, son of Leslie Franklin and Sarah Reid Gray. On January 16, 1940, in Sedalia, he Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until 5 p.m. Thursday and after 8:30 a.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Children’s Therapy Center.
Marcelle R. Gonzales
Marcelle R. Gonzales, entered into life on May 31, 1956, to Mildred Hanson and Herbert Angell, with whom she is now reunited.
Marcelle was placed into God's hands on October 29, 2003. Marcelle was loved by all who were graced by her presence.
She worked at Zephyr Manufacturing.
Marcelle is survived and loved deeply by her soul mate, Victor Gonzales, of the home; her step son, Epifanio Tacorante; her sister-in law, Valentina Peregrino; her nieces and nephews, Valentina Pinedo, Henrietta Cordero and Pete Cordero; her great nephew, Timothy Pinedo; her uncle and aunt, Conrad and Martha Rubal; and her cousins, Tina, Brad, Trina, Stephen and Dominique. She is also loved by many family and friends who will greatly miss her.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2003 at the Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel. There will be no family visitation.
