Irene W. Sheffer, 1927-2002, Marshall
Irene Winslow Sheffer, 75, of Marshall, born Nov. 19, 1927, in Marshall, a daughter of Charles and Martha Whitney Winslow. She was died earlier.
Mrs. Sheffer lived in Marshall all her life. She was a payroll clerk at the International Shoe Factory for more than 30 years. She worked at the Marshall Habilitation Center and at Marshall Realty. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Marshall.
Surviving are a son, Charles Sheffer of Chicago; a daughter, Sam Harris of Marshall; a sister, Mary Zahringer of Sedalia; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in Cemetery in Saline County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home in Marshall.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Fitzgibbon Mary Montgomery Hospice or to therapeutic riding program at the Children's Therapy Center.
Lucille Wasson, 1920-2002, Sedalia
Lucille Wasson, 82, of Sedalia, born July 2, 1920, in Ionia, a daughter of Charles and Rosa Stone Campbell. On Feb. 3, 1940, in Warrensburg, she was died Dec. 17, 1980.
Mrs. Wasson was a member of Parkview Christian Church, where she was active with the Be Forever Young group. She also helped with church activities and served meals at the church to church members. She worked at the sewing room during World War II in support of the war effort. She then became a receptionist for Dr. Maunders. She was the chief dispatcher for the Pettis County ambulance. She was formerly active with Civil Defense in Pettis County. She loved all of the dogs she owned throughout her life.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Wasson and Joe Wasson, both of Sedalia; a daughter, Linda Wasson of the home; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at her daughter's home in Sedalia.
She was married to Kenneth H. Schrader, who death by two grandchildren, Mark Snyder and Tony Skutnick; a great-grandchild, Michael E. Snyder; her parents; two brothers, Elmer and Ernest Esser; and two sisters, Martha Graybill and Pearl Barnett.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the High Point died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at his home.
He was death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Lela Daniels; and his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Wilson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Downing officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Hughes, Sean Solgan, Devin Hughes, Richard Horne, Darryl Blakely and Freddie Sizemore Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Michelle Blakely, Freddie Sizemore Sr., Colleen Cornwell, Darryl Cornwell, Scott Wilson and Paul Horne. Burial will be in Knob Noster died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Tom Albers officiating. Pallbearers will be Pat Griffin, Les Griffin, Dick Van Dyne, Mike Robinson, Philip White, Kip Salmon and John Simmons. Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Robinson, Jack Bloess, Edward Hurley, Laura Beatty, Pam McGrath and Teresa Aldrich. Burial will be in Crown Hill died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at Fair View Nursing Home in Sedalia.

William T. Wilkinson, 1919-2002, Warrensburg
William T. Wilkinson, 83, of Warrensburg, born Nov. 11, 1919, on the family farm near Lone Jack, a son of John and Eula Bynum Wilkinson.
Mr. Wilkinson lived on the family farm until he moved to the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg in 2001. He was a farmer all his life. He was a member of Lone Jack Christian Church. He was a World War II veteran serving in the 79th Infantry Division. He served in the Battle of Normandy and recently received a replica of the peace medal, the Jubilee of Liberty Medal, from France. He also received the Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster and three Bronze Stars. He was a member and past master of Jewel Lodge 480; past high priest of Wyoming Chapter 43; and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3118, all in Pleasant Hill; and Ararat Shrine of Kansas City.
Surviving are a brother, Edwin Wilkinson of Lone Jack; a sister, Florene Adams of Oak Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Monday at Wallace Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill with James Williams officiating. Pallbearers were Richard Alexander, Milton Carnes, William Clawson, Russell Helmig, James Lotspeich and James Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Keith Beasley, Homer Frisbey, Martin Hendrickson, Robert George, William Collings and Edwin Wilkinson. Burial was in Lone Jack Cemetery Inc. in care of Russell Helmig, 37102 E. 50 Highway, Lone Jack, MO 64070.
