James S. Caton, 1937-2002, Smithton
James S. Caton, 65, of Smithton, born March 9, 1937, in Peebles, Ohio, a son of Roy and Dana Purtee Caton.
Mr. Caton was baptized at Tranquility Community Church in Locust Grove, Ohio. He served in the Marine Corps from 1954 until his was honorably discharged in 1963. He started his career as an ironworker in 1968 with Ironworkers Union Local No. 10. He retired in 2001. He was an avid fisherman. He liked auto racing and restoring his 1979 pickup truck.
Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Zikowski of Wilton, N.D.; two sons, Ronnie Caton of Hesperia, Calif., and Justin Caton of Smithton; a stepson, Jeffrey Colvin of Sedalia; his mother of Cole Camp; two brothers, Robert Caton of Cole Camp and Gene Hancock of Bloomington, Ind.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in Cemetery in Otterville with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Bothwell Regional Health Center Hospice or to the family.
Morris D. Menhennet, 1915-2002, Syracuse, Mo.
Morris Darrell Menhennet, 87, of Syracuse, born Oct. 11, 1915, in Mesa, Ariz., a son of Charles Darrell and Annie Hazel Phelps Menhennet. On March 3, 1939, in Mesa, Ariz., he death by a daughter, Melba Moore; a brother, Lee Menhennet; and a sister, Vera Varney.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tipton, with President Terry Groll officiating. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
She was married to Warren Cooper, who Cemetery in Glensted.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.

Robert C. Vogler, 1932-2002, Warsaw
Robert C. Vogler, 70, of Warsaw, born May 23, 1932, in Benton County. On Feb. 4, 1964, he was Cemetery in Warsaw. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church, where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Steve C. Schauwecker, 1929-2002, Sedalia
Steve C. Schauwecker, 72, of Sedalia, born Dec. 9, 1929, in Westphalia, a son of Steve A. and Loretta Huber Schauwecker. On Nov. 18, 1961, in Jefferson City, he was Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
James Pragman, 1925-2002, Sunrise Beach
James Pragman, 77, of Sunrise Beach, formerly of Sweet Springs, born Sept. 12, 1925, near Sweet Springs, a son of Ernest and Lillie Krause Pragman. In 1943, he was death by a brother and two sisters.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Sweet Springs, with the Rev. Eugene Moll officiating. Pallbearers will be Don Elwell, J. Pragman, Matt Schelp, Kirby Bock, Mike McGurk and Aaron Torres. Burial will be in Fairview died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, in Coalinga.
She was married at Wesley United Methodist Church to Richard Price Callison, who married to Rodney B. Fitch, who Funeral Service. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Crown Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Frederick Zahn officiating.
