Clarence M. Hickman, 1923-2006, Sedalia
Clarence Masten Hickman, 82, of Sedalia, born Dec. 7, 1923, in Waukegan, Ill., a son of James Herbert and Nellie Rogers Hickman. He was died earlier.
Mr. Hickman graduated from Hughesville High School. He worked for the Home Building Corp. for 29 years. He then was a self-employed carpenter for 33 years. He attended Bethel Assembly Church in Sedalia. He was a member of the Headwaters Keyboard Association. He enjoyed building, woodworking, playing guitar and going to gospel or bluegrass music festivals. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a son, Dan Hickman, of Sedalia; three daughters, Sheree Adair, of Sedalia, Shauna Hickman, of Pharr, Texas, and Shannyn Crawford, of Warsaw; a sister, Loraine Bell, of Ocala, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He was also predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Cox; and a brother, Eldon Hickman.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bracy Hill and the Rev. Randy May officiating. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia, in care of the funeral home.
Jack Ferguson, 1917-2006, Lebanon
Jack Ferguson, 88, of Lebanon, formerly of Windsor, born on June 27, 1917, in Tulsa, Okla., a son of Mary Lula Scrogham and John Russell Ferguson. On Jan. 27, 1946, at his parents' house in Windsor, he was Cemetery in Windsor. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Nelson Meeks, 1925-2006, Cole Camp
Nelson Meeks, age 80, of Cole Camp, born Aug. 23, 1925, in Versailles a son of Fred and Elfie Howard Meeks. On Oct. 21, 1947, he was Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Nelson Meeks Memorial Fund.
Eva E. Marriott, 1920-2006, Versailles
Eva E. Marriott, 86, of Versailles, born Jan. 30, 1920 at Gravois Mills, a daughter of William and Maud Belle Rastorfer Caywood. On Oct. 21, 1939, at the First Baptist Church parsonage in Versailles, she was death by her parents and one sister, Nellie Power.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church near Versailles, with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Brent Beckmann, Don Marriott, Ron Marriott, Tim Marriott, Ryan Marriott, Brandon Marriott, Travis Webb, and Derek Webb. Cemetery. Michael G. Ciprian, 1920-2006, Sedalia
Michael George Ciprian, 86, of Sedalia, born March 23, 1920, in Wolf Run, Ohio, a son of John Paul and Mary Merhoes Ciprian. On Feb. 20, 1954 in Yuma, Ariz., he was died in 1990. On Oct. 26, 1991, in Syracuse, he was Cemetery in Higginsville, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Anna E. Horn, 1908-2006, Sedalia
Anna Elizabeth Horn, 97, Sedalia, born March 31, 1908, in Rolla, a daughter of Max and Amanda E. Heflin Funke. In 1924, she was died April 14, 1968.
Mrs. Horn was a member of Hughesville Baptist Church. She was a seamstress, making clothes for herself and her daughters. She was known for her cooking and loved her flower gardens. She was a homemaker and had lived in the Sedalia and Hughesville areas since 1985.
Surviving are a son, Vernon L. Horn, and his wife, Leanna, of Sedalia; two daughters, Mildred Brownfield, of Sedalia and Harriet Meyer, of Hughesville; nine grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Nicholson; three brothers, Charlie Funke, Henry Funke and Walter Funke; two sisters, Mabel Colvin and Selma Watson; a great-granddaughter, Joni Meyer.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Heckart/
Gillespie Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dutch Boer officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Meyer, Alan Meyer, Gary Brownfield, Larry Brownfield, Brian Nicholson and Steve Nicholson. Burial will be in Memorial Park died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at her home.
She was married to Ernest A. Peters, who survives in Rochelle.
Also surviving are three daughters, Connie Williams, and her husband, Randy, and Deborah Rosenbaum, and her husband, Terry, both of Rochelle, and Dorothy Spring, and her husband, Mark, of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Robert Dirck, of Bridgeton, Maine; three sisters, Joyce Lewis, of Kansas City, Mary Lou Countryman, of Sedalia, and Judy Fricke, of California; 10 grandchildren, Tracy Sanchez, Karen Cox, Jeremy Williams, Jonathan Williams, Hannah Williams, Daniel Rosenbaum, Terry J. Rosenbaum, Joshua Rosenbaum, Elisabeth Spring and Rebecca Spring; three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Charlene Dirck.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Rochelle, with the Rev. Doug Cowan officiating. Burial will be in Flagg Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.
