Eunice C. Luebbert, 1922-2006, Concordia
Eunice C. Luebbert, 83, of Concordia, born Dec. 20, 1922, in Corder, a daughter of Otto and Clara Dohrman Reith. On July 27, 1946, at Grace Lutheran Church in Kansas City, Kan., she was Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the church or to the nursing home.
Robert L. Cox, 1928-2006, Fortuna
Robert Lee Cox, 77, of Fortuna, born July 25, 1928, in Leeton, a son of Quincy W. and Florence Dorothy Champ Cox. On Sept. 11, 1948, he was died March 27, 1980. On Oct. 10, 1981, he was Cemetery in Tipton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Community Hospices of America, 1005 NE Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
Florence V. Neidholdt, 1910-2006, Sedalia
Florence V. Neidholdt, 95, of Sedalia, born March 2, 1910, in Palmyra, a daughter of Harry Melvin and Edith Lee Ragland Gibson. On June 24, 1926, she was died May 19, 1967.
Mrs. Neidholdt was a homemaker. She and her husband operated the Neidholdt Honey Farm for several years. She traveled across the state conducting the sales end of the business, when it was uncommon for women to manage a business of any type. She collected frog figurines and other ceramics. She liked flowers. She enjoyed doing yard work and caring for her cat, Airy.
Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Ann Lee, of Sedalia, and Peggy Swearngin, of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; a son, Albert Neidholdt, of Liberty; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Melvin; and two sisters, including her twin, Florence Gibbs, and Jane Bahr; a son, Kenneth Neidholdt in 1963; a daughter, Norma in 1980; a grandson, Mike Ulmer in 2000; and a great-grandson, Jacob Swearngin in the late 1990s.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bob Wasson officiating. Pallbearers will be Jim Swearngin, Jeff Swearngin, Kenny Neidholdt, Vince White, Dale Anson, Joe Musgrove and Kirk Ulmer. Burial will be in Memorial Park died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at University Hospital in Columbia.
He was married to Mary Lou Kullman, who survives of the home.
Mr. Loesing went to Buffalo Prairie School and was a 1943 graduate of Pilot Grove High School. He worked for the Katy Railroad, Pittsburgh Corning and Missouri Training School for Boys. He was a lifelong farmer.
Also surviving are six children, Fred B. Loesing, and his wife, Laura, of New Franklin, Marilyn J. Schwalie, Mark Estil Loesing, and his wife, Sara, and Mary Margaret Spencer, and her husband, Terry, all of Boonville, Karl Hillard Loesing, of Columbia, and Nancy Christine Widel, and her husband, Randy, of Blackwater; two brothers, Jay B. Loesing, of Columbia, and Clarence Loesing, of Boonville; and 11 grandchildren, James R. Schwalie, of Springfield, MariBeth Loesing and Brock Allen Loesing, both of Columbia, Kathryn Christine Widel, Alexandra Lou Widel, Anna Mil Widel, Anthony Rose Widel, all of Blackwater, Christian Taylor Loesing, Connor Bruce Loesing, Jay Alan Spencer and Robert Riley Spencer, all of Boonville.
He was predeceased by a son, Bruce Alan Loesing in 1973; a granddaughter, Nichole Katherine Schwalie in 1978; and a brother, Edward Loesing.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Boonville, with the Rev. Jerry Riggert and the Rev. Ken Frerking officiating. Pallbearers will be James Loesing, Dale Loesing, Tommy Joe Loesing, Terry Spencer, Randy Widel, Larry Borchers, Jon Loesing and Randy Loesing. Honorary pallbearers will be Wilbur Quinlan, Charles Dilthey, Charles Loesing, Bill Stevens, Gene Shaw, Glenwood Einspahr, Donnie Lang and George Derendenger. Burial will be in Walnut Grove died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at her home near Warsaw.
She was married to Everett L. Ryan, who death.
She enjoyed flowers. She was an active member of the Stepping Stones Garden Club, as long as her health allowed. She was also a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, near Warsaw, and attended faithfully until she no longer could.
Surviving are a son, Doug Ryan, and his wife, Marilyn, of Warsaw, three grandchildren, Michael L. Ryan, of Winfield, Patrick Ryan, of Oklahoma City, and Cathy A. Swearngin, of Warsaw, a brother, Wesley Cutshall, of Aldridge; a sister, Nadine Kruel, of Warsaw; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Phil Cutshall; and one sister, Martha Belle Butler.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, with the Rev. Russell Lucas and the Rev. Bill Hix officiating. Burial will be in Riverside died Saturday, March 18, 2006, at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City.
He was married to Sadie Fugate, who survives of the home.
Mr. Davis grew up and lived in the Warsaw area all his life. He enlisted in the Army Feb. 3, 1953, serving in Korea. He was discharged from active duty in 1955 and transferred to the Army Reserves for six years. He was a maintenance supervisor for the Missouri State Highway Department. He retired July 1, 1992, after 39 years of service.
Also surviving are a son, Phillip Davis, and his wife, Adana, of Republic; a daughter, Linda Gramblin, and her husband, Steve, of Jefferson City; and a grandson, Kyler.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Shawnee died Sunday, March 19, 2006, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was married to Ted L. Heinze, who died March 30, 1971.
Mrs. Heinze was a member of Broadway Presbyterian Church, where she had served an elder and deacon, taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school for two generations of children, and was a member of the Mariners. She was also a member of the Great Decisions group and the IP Chapter of PEO. She was a Sedalia Welcome Wagon hostess. For several years, she enjoyed cooking and sharing her famous pies with family and friends. She provided thousands of handmade mints for weddings.
She worked at Dr. Howe's dental office for more than 20 years. She had also been manager of the portrait studio at Heer's Department Store in Springfield in the 1950's.
Surviving are four sons, Ron Hill, and his wife, Sarah, of Seattle, Teddy Alan Hill, and his wife, Lory, of Sedalia, Rick Heinze, and his wife, Chrystal, of Shawnee, Kan., and Chris Heinze, of Independence; 12 grandchildren, Chris, Dan, Jill, Mari Grace, Joseph, Grace, Shane, Zachariah, Tuesday, Tiffany, Josh and Steven; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a brother, S.M. Stacey; and two sisters, Helen Hoppis and Willa Stacey.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Broadway Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Larry Wheeler officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Callis, Mike Robinson, Jack Robinson, Rich Kendrick, Charles Bell, Bill Lemke, Jim Moore, Dale Soendker, Dr. Thomas Howe and Butch Blankenship. Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
