Sharon N. Fuget-Shockley, 1943-2005, Sedalia
Sharon Noralene Lambert Fuget-Shockley, 62, of Sedalia, born Sept. 23, 1943, in Hannibal, a daughter of Bud and Lucille White Doran.
Ms. Fuget-Shockley attended Full Gospel Lighthouse. She was a cook in nursing homes and restaurants.
Surviving are her husband, Bill Shockley, of the home; a daughter, Kim Britt, and her husband, Rowdy, of Hannibal; five sons, Scott Fuget, and his wife, Stephanie, of Vandalia, Jeff Fuget, and his wife, Opal, and David Fuget, and his wife, Carla, all of Sedalia, Wesley Fuget, and his wife, Tina, of Vandalia, and Jamie Fuget, and his wife, Tara, of New London; three stepchildren, Angie Pogue, and her husband, Everette, of Sedalia, Teresa Beal, and her husband, Ricky, of Carrollton, and William Shockley Jr., of Florida; two sisters, Janie Taylor and Dorothy Fuget, both of Hannibal; a brother, Ernie Lambert, of Harrisonville; 27 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Cindy Wisdom; and four sisters.
A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the family home at 409 N. Engineer in Sedalia.
There will be no funeral services.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart/Gillespie Funeral Home.
Mary E. Fingland, 1924-2005, Sedalia
Mary Elizabeth Fingland, 81, of Sedalia, born Jan. 30, 1924, in Kansas City, a daughter of Clarence Monroe and Margarette Cloe Tolman Rogers. On Nov. 24, 1951, in Sedalia, she was died in 1988.
After the death.
She was a member of Christ and Trinity Lutheran Church. She volunteered in scouting for many years as a den mother and Girl Scout leader. In 1972 , she received the Silver Fawn Award, the highest award bestowed on adult women by Boy Scouts of America. She was active in the Bothwell Regional Health Center Auxiliary and was selected as the auxiliary member of the year for 2004. She was a member of the board of directors of Meals on Wheels.
In 1994, the Finglands established the William E. Fingland Sr. and Mary E. Fingland Nursing Scholarship Fund at the University of Missouri-Columbia, which gives preference to nursing students from Pettis County.
Surviving are two sons, William E. Fingland Jr., and his wife, Patty, of Rogersville, and Dr. Roger Busch Fingland, and his wife, Ann, of Manhattan, Kan.; a daughter, Laura Lea Gray, and her husband, John, of Lansing, Kan.; four grandchildren, Christy Farabough, Kara Perme, Andy Fingland and Leanne Gray; two step grandchildren, Angela Sevenans and Jim Christian; two great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a brother, Clarence "Roger" Monroe Rogers Jr.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Christ and Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Yvonne Marshall officiating. Pallbearers will be Ryan Farabough, Josh Perme, Matt Smith, Jim Christian, Andy Fingland and John Gray. Burial will be in Memorial Park died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Capitol Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was married to James G. Prestage, who death, serving as president for the past four years. In 1977, she and her husband were honored by the Tipton Chamber of Commerce for their contributions to the community.
Surviving are four daughters, Marilyn Prestage Hartman, of Sunrise Beach, Susan Kriegshauser, and husband, Michael, of Eldon, Barbara Prestage, of Lee's Summit, and Jamie Carol Prestage, of Kansas City; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by two brothers, Howard LaBumbard and Keith LaBumbard.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Tipton. Pallbearers will be Toni Schmidt, Shelly Lutz, Joe Oswald, Jessica Beckmann, Raegan Carol Oswald, Erin McDevitt, Thomas Kriegshauser, and Olivia Carol Prestage. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Prestage, Kevin Schmit, Mike Lutz, Lori Oswald and Brent Beckmann. Burial will be in Tipton Masonic died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was married to Carol Tritle, who survives of the home.
Mr. Hall lived in Overland Park, Kan., where he was a truck driver for Shock Transfer in Kansas City, Kan., for 27 years. The couple moved to Lebanon in 1994 and to Warsaw in 1996. He was a member of Teamsters Local 41 of Kansas City. He enjoyed playing steel guitar, flying small engine aircraft and was a Winchester collector.
Also surviving are three daughters, Monica Smith, and husband, Michael, of Independence, Janet Armstrong, and husband, Rick, of Wichita, Kan., and Tammy Reynolds, and husband, Lawrence, of Tulsa, Okla.; three stepsons; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Benton died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, at Four Seasons Living Center.

He was married to Ceceilia Twenter, who survives of the home.
Mr. Gerke was a farmer, worked for the railroad and owned and operated a concrete construction business until he retired in 1988. He was active in the Catholic Church, serving as lector, usher and Eucharistic minister. He was a fourth-degree Knights of Columbus member and served a term as Faithful Navigator. Mr. Gerke also served on the Sacred Heart parish council and served a term as booster club president. After retirement he was an active member of Jolly Elders. He enjoyed working at Open Door, woodworking and gardening. Throughout his life he took great pride in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Whenever possible he enjoyed attending their school activities and sports events.
Also surviving are five sons, Mikel Gerke, and wife, Janet, of Winder, Ga., Cecil Gerke, and wife, Linda, Charles Gerke, and wife, Beverley, Earl Gerke, and wife, Susan, all of Sedalia, and Mark Gerke of Nashville, Tenn.; three daughters, Elizabeth Schopp, and husband, Norman, of Moberly, Sister Carol Gerke of Jefferson City, and Sharon Crane, and husband, Gene, of Columbia; two brothers, Thomas Gerke, of Pilot Grove, and Emil Gerke, of Tipton; two sisters, Lucille Gerke, of Sedalia, and Geneva Fischer, of Tipton;17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by five brothers, Irvin, Anton, Andrew, William, and Clarence; two sisters, Mary and Lorene.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Vince Hoying officiating. Burial will be in Calvary died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2005, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
He was married to Shirley Whiles, who survives of the home.
Mr. Funkhouser was an Army veteran, serving in Germany during World War II. He worked for the railroad for eight years and was supervisor for Mobay Chemical Co. in West Virginia for 23 years. He was an author and had several books published. He enjoyed woodcarving and painting.
Also surviving are a daughter, Karen Campbell, of West Virginia; four sons, Mark Funkhouser, of Kansas City, Dennis Funkhouser, of Indiana, Eric Funkhouser, of Tennessee, and Byron Funkhouser, of West Virginia; three stepdaughters, Dixie Dunkin, of Cole Camp, and Diane Williams and Cindy Goode, both of Camdenton; two brothers, David Funkhouser and Norman Funkhouser, both of Beaver Falls, Pa.; and 15 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Carrie Rouse, and a brother, Richard Funkhouser.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Cole Camp, with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 305 of Cole Camp. Pallbearers will be Mark Funkhouser, Dennis Funkhouser, Eric Funkhouser, Karen Campbell, Andrew Squitiro and Chester Campbell.
There will be no visitation.
