Lyle Reese Leisen, 43, of Sedalia, born March 29, 1961, in Indianapolis, a son of Don Reese and Ivra Mae Miller Leisen. He was died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at North Kansas City Hospital.
She was Cemetery.
Richard A. Ditzfeld, 1931-2005, Sedalia
Richard "Dick" Albert Ditzfeld, 73, of Sedalia, born Nov. 18, 1931, in Sedalia, a son of Harry James and Lena Hari Ditzfeld. On March 18, 1951, in Sedalia, he was Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Wednesday at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The family suggest memorial contributions to First Christian Church Abiding Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral chapel.
Reno W. Heimsoth, 1921-2005, Cole Camp
Reno Walter Heimsoth, 83, of Cole Camp, born July 22, 1921, near Cole Camp, a son of Arthur Friedebert Heinrich and Pauline Johanna Beckman Heimsoth. On June 15, 1952, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, he was died June 28, 2001.
Mr. Heimsoth was Cemetery, Cole Camp. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to Trinity Lutheran Church Seminary Scholarship Fund or Our Savior Lutheran Radio Ministry in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
Harold R. Burdett, Mount Vernon
Harold Raney Burdett, 86, of Mount Vernon, formerly of Springfield, Cemetery, north of Springfield. Cremation and services are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
Betty L. Bryson, 1941-2005, Napton
Betty Lou Bryson, 63, of Napton, born Dec. 22, 1941, in Sweet Springs, a daughter of Albert and Minnie Marquess Dillon.
Ms. Bryson moved to Napton nine years ago from Marshall. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two daughters, Jeanelle Gaddy, of the home, and Tina Gaddy, of Napton; two sons, Larry Gaddy, of the home, and Jack Gaddy, of Napton; six brothers, Albert Dillon, of Napton, John Dillon, Jack Dillon, Jerry Dillon and Darrell Dillon, all of Houstonia, and Carroll Dillon, of Marshall; four sisters, Mary Johnson, of Houstonia, Jane Kearney and Catherine Sleeper, both of Sedalia, and Dorothy Cornine, of Marshall; three half brothers, Brian Dillon and Scott Dillon, both of Sweet Springs, and Aaron Dillon, of Sedalia; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Pete Gaddy; and a brother, Delbert Dillon.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Burial will be in Hazel Grove died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
He was married to Marie I. Couture, who survives of the home.
Mr. DeVore graduated from Osawatomie High School. He was an Army veteran, serving from 1959 to 1964. He was stationed in Fort Riley, Kan. He joined the Air Force in 1968 and was stationed at Richards-Gebauer Air Force Base, near Kansas City. He retired from the Kansas National Guard in 1978. During his tours in all of the armed services, he worked in food services. He worked for the Department of Defense and had been a volunteer deputy in Cass County. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Also surviving are five children, George DeVore, of Fond Du Lac, Wis., Melodie Ann DeVore, of Siloam Springs, Kan., James Daniel DeVore, Johnathan Richard DeVore and Jenny Corrine DeVore, all of Carrollton; a brother, Guy DeVore, of Sedalia; two sisters, Adella Thatcher, of Sedalia, and Sarah Horton, of Goodman; and 12 grandchildren, Michael DeVore, Alex Fuller, David Fuller, Keziah DeVore, Jayson DeVore, Issac DeVore, Jessica Yung, Darren DeVore, Michael Smiley, Dakota DeVore, David Yung and Athena DeVore.
He was predeceased by a son, Paul DeVore.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, with the Rev. Ken Prewitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Gibson Funeral Home in Carrollton.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Southside Baptist Church, in memory of Mr. DeVore.
