Ralph O. Schutte, 1922-2004, Concordia
Ralph Otto Schutte, 82, of Concordia, born Oct. 3, 1922, in Concordia, a son of Otto F. and Frieda Wodrich Schutte. On Aug. 30, 1947, he was Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Barbara A. McMillin, 1938-2004, Sedalia
Barbara Ann McMillin, 66, of Sedalia, born July 20, 1938, in Columbia, a daughter of Malcolm and Louella Carey Hyde. In 1959, in Columbia, she was died Jan. 2, 1991. On Feb. 20, 1995, in Arkansas, she was Cemetery in Columbia. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Bothwell Regional Health Center Hospice or the Mid-Missouri Humane Society.
James M. Riggs, 1923-2004, Versailles
James Marvin Riggs, 81, of Versailles, born Sept. 4, 1923, in Morgan County, a son of Osborn Lee and Lillie Mabel Broyles Riggs. On March 12, 1944, he was died Nov. 23, 1971. On Aug. 22, 1972, he was Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Thursday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the First Baptist Church in Versailles.
Evelyn A. Brandt, 1925-2004, Concordia
Evelyn Brandt, 79, of Concordia, born Feb. 13, 1925, in Cole Camp, a daughter of Edward and Marie Wittrock Brandt.
Ms. Brandt was baptized March 1, 1925, and confirmed May 1, 1938, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, by the Rev. David Loesch. She attended Bahrenburg Country School, Bethlehem Lutheran School, Cole Camp High School and graduated from Stover High School. She attended Sedalia Business College and was a bookkeeper for several firms in Sedalia.
When a teacher was needed at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Concordia in 1947, she began teaching second grade there. She attended summer school at Concordia College in River Forest, Ill. She took correspondence courses at Concordia College in River Forest and in Seward, Neb., and at Central Missouri State University. She graduated from Concordia College in Seward in 1962. She continued teaching various grades at St. Paul's Lutheran School until 1986, when she retired from full-time teaching.
While teaching at St. Paul's, she was active in the church as a Sunday school teacher, Walther League counselor, Ladies Aid member and choir member. She was a volunteer in the Concordia community, serving with the community betterment and older adults committees. She was a Brownie troop leader, a chaperone for the monthly roller skating bus to Higginsville for children and a teacher of volunteer classes at the Good Shepherd Home.
After retirement, she began working at the Good Shepherd Home, first as a nurse's aide and then in activities, using the skills she learned while teaching. She continued tutoring students, both elementary students and foreign exchange students attending St. Paul's High School.
Surviving are three brothers, Reinhart Brandt, of Mexico, Mo., Marvin Brandt, of Peoria, Ill., and Eugene Brandt, of Arlington Heights, Ill.; a sister, Elora Moentmann, of Norborne; and several nieces, nephews great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a stillborn sister and a nephew, Martin Brandt.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
She was married to Furlon Ray Burnett, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Burnett was Baptist. She enjoyed camping, fishing and boating at Truman with her family. She also liked shopping and embroidering. She had donated embroidery projects to the Alzheimer's Association. She also made baby blankets, which she donated to the first baby of 2004.
Also surviving are three sons, Kevin Travis, of Marshall, Jeffery Burnett, of Smithton, and Kyle "Jacob" Burnett, of the home; a daughter Evelyn Wells, of Sedalia; a brother, Larry Howard, of Sedalia; and two grandchildren, Hunter Travis and Jewell Burnett.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Daniel Howard.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Smithton Community Center. Private burial will be at a later date.

Laura L. Cook, 1965-2004, Sedalia
Laura Lee Cook, 38, of Sedalia, born Dec. 28, 1965, in Mexico, Mo., a daughter of Richard and D.J. Ogden Lincoln. On June 2, 1990, in Sedalia, she was Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Richard Goodrich, 1944-2004, Knob Noster
Richard "Jack" Goodrich, 60, of Knob Noster, born May 17, 1944, in Johnson City, N.Y., a son of William A. and Anna House Goodrich.
Mr. Goodrich lived in Greene, N.Y., where he was a dairy farmer for more than 20 years. He moved to Knob Noster in 1992. He was the owner of Green Acres Mobile Home Park and owned the Office Cafe in Knob Noster for eight years. He later became the owner of Goodrich Automotive in Warrensburg. He was anticipating the opening of the Sunshine Cafe in Knob Noster, one of his latest projects. He was a hunter. He loved to attend and pull tractors and trucks in the Knob Noster and Leeton area.
Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Goodrich, of Calhoun; two sons, Richard "Rick" Goodrich and Jesse W. Goodrich, both of Warrensburg; two daughters, Jennifer Bolles, and her husband, Chris, of Warrensburg, and Paula Prince, and her husband, Dewayne, of Leeton; two brothers, William Goodrich, of Lisle, N.Y., and Ike Goodrich, of Port Crane, N.Y.; a sister, Anna "Toots" Willis, of Maine, N.Y.; special friend, Christine Perry; and three granddaughters, Megan Prince, April Prince and Taylor Prince.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, with the Rev. Ray Haught and the Rev. Wilbert Morris officiating. Pallbearers will be Buck Goodrich, Eugene "Woody" Goodrich, Greg "Bummer" Goodrich, Steve Goodrich, Mike Goodrich, Bobby Thomas, Chuck Quinn and Kenny Smith. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
