Roy A. Moore Jr., 1938-2004, Knob Noster
Roy A. Moore Jr., 66, of Knob Noster, born July 17, 1938, in Warrensburg, a son of Roy and Minnie Maxem Moore. On Dec. 18, 1999, in Sapulpa, Okla., he was Cemetery, with military rites at graveside. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Ruby Jane Montgomery, 1930-2004, Sedalia
Ruby Jane Montgomery, 74, of Sedalia, born May 3, 1930, in Pettis County, a daughter of Jacob Jansen and Maude Florence Davis Wissman. On June 2, 1951, in Sedalia, she was died May 19, 2001.
Mrs. Montgomery was a Smith-Cotton High School and Sedalia Business College graduate. She worked for the Rural Electric Association, until the birth of her first child. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed going on vacations with her family. When her children were young, she volunteered at schools as a librarian, was a den mother for Cub Scouts and the cookie chairwoman for Girl Scouts. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and baking.
Surviving are four daughters, Deborah Montgomery, of Pleasant Hill, Teresa Montgomery, of Kansas City, Rebecca Todd, and her husband, Rickey, of Lebanon, Mo., and Linda Fox, and her husband, Vincent, of Cole Camp; a son, Elbert Stanley Montgomery Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Kansas City; two sisters, Jo Ann Hedges, of Topeka, Kan., and Bonnie Dick, of Sedalia; three brothers, Cleo Wissman, Jacob Wissman and Don Wissman, all of Sedalia; and five grandchildren, Megan Todd, Katelyn Todd, Zachary Fox, Branden Johnson and Brandie Pursel.
She was also predeceased by a sister, Anna Mae Richards; and two brothers, Roy Chester Wissman and Glen Eldon Wissman.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens in Sedalia. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Fox Funeral Home, with visitation to follow.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Bethlehem died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
She was married to Carl Imes, who survives of the home.
She was raised in McNabb, and graduated from John Swaney High School in 1950. She attended Chillicothe Business College, graduating with a business degree in 1953. After she was Cemetery in Kansas City. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
Sandra S. Buckner, 1940-2004, Sedalia
Sandra Sue Buckner, 64, of Sedalia, born June 19, 1940, in Weston, a daughter of James S. and Jean M. Grey Riner.
Ms. Buckner worked at the front counter at Hardee's east for 15 years. She was a social activist, serving on the Human Rights Commission and the Anthony Buckner board. She loved her children and grandchildren and their activities.
Surviving are a son, Jeff Buckner, of Sedalia; three daughters, Vicki Moore, of Independence, Denise Banning, of Lawson, and Monica Thomas, of Sedalia; two brothers, Tom Grey, of Las Vegas, and Charles Grey, of North Kansas City; six grandsons, Christopher Thomas and Jeffrey Buckner Jr., whom she raised, Terrell Buckner, Derrick Thomas, Andrew Moore, Michael Hutchison, Justin Hudson and John Banning; and three granddaughters, Jade Buckner, Jessie Brabiel and Stephanie Hutchison.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Crown Hill died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, in Tipton.
She was married to George Huhmann, who Cemetery in Tipton. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton.

Betty A. Kammeyer, 1928-2004, Warsaw
Betty Ann Kammeyer, 76, of Warsaw, born Nov. 22, 1928, in Lincoln, a daughter of W.J. and Anna Meuschke Lumpe. On Jan. 6, 1956, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma, she was Cemetery in Warsaw. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Friends of Russian Orphans for repairs at the Kotlas orphanage, where Tatiana and Alexander lived in Russia, or to Benton County Hospice in care of Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.
Betty R. Bain, 1929-2004, Sedalia
Betty R. Bain, 75, of Sedalia, born Sept. 4, 1929, in Sedalia, a daughter of Samuel John and Mary M. Kirchoff Lutjen. On Feb. 4, 1947, in Sedalia, she was died July 29, 2002.
Mrs. Bain attended Smith-Cotton High School. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking.
Surviving are three sons, George Bain Jr., Richard Bain and Russell Bain, all of Sedalia; four daughters, Betica Asbury and Deborah Lamb, both of Sedalia, Katrina Thompson and Mary Elizabeth Thompson, both of Otterville; a brother, Earl Lutjen, of Sedalia; a sister, Dorothy Thomas, of Sedalia; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by two brothers, Marvin Lutjen and Elmer Lutjen; and a sister, Marie Katherine Lutjen.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronald Hoehne officiating. Pallbearers will be Kenny Asbury, Kurt Asbury, Kyle Asbury, Chris Lamb, Tim Lamb, George Bain III and Richard Bain Jr. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
