I.C. Adams, 1913-2002, Columbia
I.C. "Ike" Adams, 88, of Columbia, born Nov. 9, 1913, in Columbia, a son of Ira and Ida Adams. On Jan. 16, 1942, in Joplin, he was died earlier.
Mr. Adams received a degree in biology and wildlife conservation from the University of Missouri. While working for the Missouri Conservation Commission, he accumulated a large collection of natural history books that evolved into Adams Books. He owned Adams Books and Hobbies and Adams Walls of Books. He was a World War II veteran, serving as a lieutenant in the 823 Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was honored in France during the VE 50th-year celebration for his role in liberating Misery, France. He was a member of First Baptist Church, the National Audobon Society, the Columbia Stamp Club, Greenpeace and the Experimental Aircraft Association.
Surviving are a son, David Adams of Columbia; a daughter, Nancy Duncan of Columbia; a brother, Jack Adams of El Cajon, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in Cemetery in Windsor with the Rev. Bob Russell officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbia.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the World War II National Memorial or to the Veta B. Adams Scholarship Fund in care of the College of Environmental Science at the University of Missouri.
Carey L. Priesendorf, 1950-2002, Sedalia
Carey Lynn Priesendorf, 52, of Sedalia, born Sept. 18, 1950, in Sedalia, a son of Conrad and Delores Jones Priesendorf. On June 8, 1981, in Miami, Okla., he was Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Mildred L. Hall, 1926-2002, Sweet Springs
Mildred Lee Hall, 76, of Sweet Springs, formerly of La Monte, born Jan. 3, 1926, in Pettis County, a daughter of George E. and Lydia Cramer Lee. On March 27, 1944, in La Monte, she was died earlier.
Mrs. Hall was a member of La Monte Harvest Time Tabernacle Church. She was a farmer and a housewife.
Surviving are two sons, Roy "Mike" Hall of La Monte and Ricky Bill Hall of Houstonia; three daughters, Acinda "Cindy" Taber and Connie Jo Roach, both of Sweet Springs, and Janet Mc Bryar of Rocky Face, Ga.; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Chester M. Thomas, 1921-2002, Gravois Mills
Chester Murrel "Tommy" Thomas, 81, of Gravois Mills, born Sept. 4, 1921, in Roby, a son of Elvin Ray and Rubie E. Wood Thomas. On Dec. 21, 1951, he was death by a son, David Thomas; three brothers, Garold Thomas, Edwin Thomas and Donald Thomas; and two sisters, Aletta Thomas and Nettie Thomas.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel with the Rev. Bart Larson officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at Warrensburg Manor Care Center.
She was married to Dale Dean Brown, who death by two half sisters; five half brothers; two grandsons; and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hemme, Kevin Hemme, Dale Opfer, Steve Opfer, Tim Rainey and Randy Rainey. Burial will be in Centerview died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
He was married to Elizabeth Ellen Lingle, who death by a son, Don W. Hutchison; a brother, Preston Hutchison; and a grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Jim Randall officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Keith L. Thibault Sr., 1924-2002, Sedalia
Keith Louis Thibault Sr., 78, of Sedalia, born June 11, 1924, in Lyons, Neb., a son of Louis John and Zella Mae Newill Thibault. On Sept. 1, 1951, in Mount Vernon, Ill., he death.
Mr. Thibault was a graduate of Pender High School in Pender, Neb., and earned a degree in radio broadcasting from Denver University, where he was president of his graduating class and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa fraternity. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in aviation radio. He was awarded the American Area; European-African & Mid-Eastern Area; three stars; Good Conduct; Air and Victory medals. An outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting and camping.
Survivors include two sons, Keith Thibault and Phil Bennett, both of Union, Mo.; a daughter, Kathie Zentgraf of Sedalia; three sisters, Alyce Morgan of Phoenix, Ariz., Doris Everett of Vancouver, Wash., and Hazel Dye of Sioux City, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his companion, Doris Tippie of Sedalia.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Olive; and two brothers, Clyde Thibault and Vern Thibault.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
