Mary Gauldin, 1921-2003, Malta Bend
Mary "Hallene" Gauldin, 82, of rural Malta Bend, born June 16, 1921, in Sedalia, a daughter of Herbert T. and Mary Rebecca Morton Lunbeck. On April 5, 1941, she was died Sept. 22, 1981.
Mrs. Gauldin lived in Saline County most of her life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was a 1939 graduate of Malta Bend High School.
Surviving are two daughters, Patsy Boedeker and Judy Schroeder, both of rural Marshall; two sisters, Marge McClain, of Independence, and Linda Musser, of Blytheville, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Cheenie Dowell; a great-granddaughter, Jillian Boedeker; and a brother, William T. Lunbeck.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union Baptist Church in Saline County, with the Rev. Tim Smith and William W. Harlow officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Boedeker, Ross Day, Ross Dowell, Shannon Dowell, Kevin Yost, Joe Miller, Darren Pannier, Justin Malter and Ronnie Plattner. Burial will be in Union Cemetery.
Roger A. Roesler, 1909-2003, Versailles
Roger A. Roesler, 94, of Versailles, born Jan. 10, 1909, in Otterville, a son of Edgar and Maymie Roesler.
Mr. Roesler worked for General Motors in Leeds until 1951. He then worked for the TWA overhaul base and retired in October 1973. Before moving to Versailles, he lived in Kansas City and Blue Springs. He was a member of Rising Sun Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, International Association of Machinists, Ararat Temple, TWA Seniors Club and Calvary Baptist Church in Blue Springs.
Surviving are two daughters, Wanda McCale, of Hollister, and Dee Roesler, of Blue Springs; a stepson, Bob Hardey; a granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sisters; and two wives, Geneva in 1984 and Catherine in 2001.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Webb-Freer Funeral Home in Blue Springs. Burial will be in Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Robert Frisbee, 1946-2003, Knob Noster
Robert Frisbee, 57, of Knob Noster, born April 23, 1946, in St. Louis County, a son of Glenn and Beryl Wilson Frisbee. On June 19, 1975, in Sedalia, he was Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Knob Noster.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Johnson County Hospice in care of the funeral home.
Alverna H. Alewel, 1915-2003, Concordia
Alverna H. Alewel, 88, of Concordia, born Feb. 17, 1915, in Blackburn, a daughter of Theodore and Ella Mevius Rehkop. On Sept. 30, 1933, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Ernestville, she was died Jan. 19, 1983.
Mrs. Alewel lived in Concordia most of her life. She moved to the Good Shepherd Home in 2000. She worked at Burlington Manufacturing, Central Drug Store and in the kitchen at the Good Shepherd Home. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Concordia.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Brockman, of Emma, and Sharon Schuette, of Blue Springs; a sister, Ruth Kammeyer, of Concordia; a brother, Clarence Rehkop, of Independence; six grandchildren; and six great-granddaughters.
She was predeceased by a son in infancy; five brothers; and a sister.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Lee Hagan officiating. Pallbearers will be Kim Brockman, Cody Brockman, Darin Schuette, Kevin Schuette, Chad Baldwin and Lew Schnakenberg. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003, at the Harry S. Truman Veteran's Hospital in Columbia.
He was Cemetery in Windsor. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Fred Morlock, 1923-2003, Washington, D.C.
Fred Morlock, 80, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Sedalia, born Feb. 24, 1923, in Missouri, a son of Adolph and Lena H. Morlock.
Mr. Morlock was an Air Force veteran.
He was buried in Arlington National died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
He was married Leida F. VanStavern, who Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
