Florence L. Noland, 1922-2003, Warsaw
Florence L. Noland, 81, of Warsaw, born March 18, 1922, in Alton, a daughter of George A. and Mae Viola Johnson Waggoner. On July 25, 1941, in Buffalo, she was died March 8, 1998.
Mrs. Noland grew up in Urbana and was a 1940 graduate of Urbana High School. She moved to Warsaw in 1953. She worked at Unitog in Warsaw for more than 10 years. She was active in her community and church. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Warsaw, where she was a member of the Sunshine Sunday school class. She was a Cub Scout leader and was active in the Mother's Club and PTA. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are three sons, Gary Noland and Robert Noland, both of Sedalia, and Steve Noland of Warsaw; a daughter, Marlene Bellamy of Sedalia; three brothers, George Merle Waggoner of Independence, Carl Mack Waggoner and Paul Marlin Waggoner, both of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two sisters, Ruth Edwards of Sedalia and Ina Mae Waggoner of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Jonita in 1968; and a brother, Roscoe.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. Pallbearers will be Dusty Noland, Josh Noland, Tim Noland, Will Bellamy, Danny King and Melvin Nelson. Burial will be in Riverside died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003, at Stoney Ridge Village.
He was died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at her home near Warsaw.
She was married to David Thomas Kain, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Kain grew up in Benton County. She lived in Wheatland before moving to Kansas City. She was a machine operator for Wonderbread Bakery. Following retirement in the early 1980s, she moved to Weableau. She moved to the Warsaw area in 1996. She attended church services at Pentecostal Light House in Fristoe.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mae McLaughlin of Cole Camp and Loreene Thomas of Warsaw; two sons, David T. Kain Jr. of Smithton and Toni Kain of Seymour; five brothers, Don Booyer and Denny Booyer, both of Lincoln, John Booyer of Macks Creek, Dean Booyer of Springfield and Dan Booyer of Warsaw; two sisters, Luella Ann Wright of Montreal and Margaret Mae Booyer of Rogers, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Judith Anne.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fredonia died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, in Sedalia.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Crown Hill died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at University Hospital in Columbia.
She was married to Russell C. Craig, who survives of the home.
Mrs. Craig was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. She also was a member of Women of the Moose, Queen of Sponsors in 1990 and the Academy of Friendship. She was an avid reader. She loved crocheting and spending time with her family.
Also surviving are five sons, Gaylon Craig and Barry Craig, both of Sedalia, Kent Craig of Port Saint Luci, Fla., Mike Craig of Breckenridge, Colo., and Jeff Craig of Republic; six daughters, Linda Saylor, Jeanie Langston and Debbie Eppes, all of Sedalia, Nancy Dieckhaus and Becky Nace, both of Kansas City; and Pam Ollison of Smithton; a brother, Bill Baird of Calhoun; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two brothers, George Baird and Ray Baird; and a sister, Jean Nipper.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Heckart/Gillespie Colonial Chapel with Dr. Donald Allcorn officiating. Pallbearers will be Craig Guffin, Bryon Guffin, Scott Langston, Justin Wolf, Nolan Smith, Cory Eppes, Brandon Smith and Colton Craig. Burial will be in Memorial Park died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2003, at Farmington Country Manor.
She was died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at Elmhaven Nursing Home in Parsons.
He was married to Opal Phillips, who Cemetery near Dennis, Kan., with the Rev. Deborah Hanes Nelson officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons.
