Judy was an extraordinary person in life - in addition to a loving wife, mother and grandmother – Judy chose to dedicate most of her life to the service of others working in her profession as a Registered Nurse.
For Judy, being a nurse was not just a job, it was her passion.
Judy instilled in her daughters that hard work was not to be shied away from, to persevere in what you believe in despite the numerous trials life will bring to all of us.
Judy’s compassion for others inspired her daughters to pursue careers in nursing, today all three are Registered Nurses.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Ruth Morrison and Wilford Patterson; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and one son-in-law, Justin Stanfill.
Surviving Judy are her girls, Kimberly Stahl (Jim), West Plains, Lindy Wood-Russell (Jeff), San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Nancy A. Wood, West Plains; and her only sister, Patricia LeBlanc, Big Bear, Calif.
Judy felt blessed and very proud of her grandchildren, Jared, Justin, Janna, Jamie, Katy and Sarah, and in December of 2006, great-grandson, Jayden Russell, was born.
If you desire, please donate in Judy’s name to any charity that benefits the care of animals.
