Funeral services for F. Byrdella Martin Morrison of Hollister, were held Wednesday, June 18 at the Smith Chapel Church of Christ.
Burial was in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Morrison died June 14, 2003, at Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson.

Delores House, 1933-2003
Funeral services for Delores M. House, 69, of Wichita, Kan., were Wednesday, July 16 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Wichita, Kan.
Mrs. House died July 14, 2003.
She was born Aug. 20, 1933, in Ness City, Kan.
She was a former employee of Southwestern Federal Savings and Loan, American Savings and Loan, Mid-Kansas Savings and Loan, Wichita Federal Savings and Loan and retired from Emprise Bank.
Mrs. House is survived by her husband, Gerald, formerly of Gainesville; four sons, Bob House and his wife, Merrilee, of Bentonville, Ark., Tom House and his wife, Sandy, of St. Louis, Brian House and his wife, Lisa, of Dublin, Ohio, and Brett House of Arkansas City, Kan.; one daughter, Donna Debuhr and her husband, Loren, of Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five brothers, Kenneth Weilert, Donald Weilert and his wife, Lynn, and Delbert Weilert and his wife, Lena, all of Wichita, Raymond Weilert and his wife, Crystal, of Haysville, Kan., and Bill Weilert and his wife, Betty, of Rose Hill, Kan.; and three sisters, Norma Delaney and her husband, Jack, of Burdett, Kan., Imelda Rhodes and her husband, Mike, of Tulsa, Okla., and Teresa Robert and her husband, Eldon, of Wichita.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Center of Kansas and St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Arthur G. Nance, 1918-2003
Memorial services for Arthur G. Nance, 85, of Eugene, Ore., formerly of Ozark County, were held April 25 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Eugene, Ore.
Mr. Nance died Aug. 15, 2003.
He was born March 2, 1918, in Romance, the son of Albert and Vada (Smith) Nance.
He married Clara Long in Marysville, Kan., Nov. 29, 1945.
He was drafted into the Army in 1941 and trained for chemical warfare service.
He attended cooking and baking school and was promoted to mess sergeant.
He later became chief clerk and a supply sergeant and served in the Pacific Theater in New Guinea and the Philippines.
He was honorably discharged with the rank of technical sergeant in 1945.
He lived in Nebraska and Missouri before moving to Springfield, Ore., in 1956 and settling in Eugene, Ore., in 1957.
He enjoyed cooking and owned and co-owned restaurants, including Ron's Drive-In and Waffle Shop, The Round Table Restaurant, The Tasty Burger and the Payless Coffee Shop, from 1963 until 1984.
He also worked as a probation officer, grocery store owner and salesman.
He was a handyman around the house, and his interests included fishing, golf and traveling.
He served as a travel host for overseas trips with Elks Lodge 357.
He was a life member of a Masonic Lodge and a member of the U.S. Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He enjoyed country music, playing cards and spending time with his lodge buddies.
He especially enjoyed attending his grandsons' sports, music and drama activities at North Eugene High School.
He will be remembered as always having a good story to tell.
Mr. Nance is survived by three sons, Greg Nance, Brad Nance and Lyle Nance, all of Eugene, Ore.; one brother, Alvin Nance of Scotts Valley, Calif.; five sisters, Jewell Tibbetts, Thelma Hawkins, Mabeline Bryan and Ona Amyx, all of Springfield and Norma Eslinger of Wasola; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church in Eugene, Ore.

Foster Edward Fowler Jr., 1958-2002
Foster Edward Fowler Jr., 44, of Isabella, died Nov. 16, 2002, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Ark.
He was born Oct. 25, 1958, in Pinellas County, Fla., the son of Foster Edward Fowler Sr. and Lois Ann Hendricks.
He was a construction foreman.
Mr. Fowler is survived by one son, Dylan Fowler of Isabella; his father, Foster Edward Fowler Sr. of Clearwater, Fla.; his mother, Lois Ann Hendricks of Clearwater, Fla.; two sisters, Nan Hendricks of Clearwater, Fla., and Tamela Massengale of Trenton, Ga.; and one brother, John Hendricks Jr. of Holiday, Fla.

Juanita Houx
Funeral services for Juanita J. Houx, 68, of Ocie, were held Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Houx Farm in Ocie.
Mrs. Houx died Aug. 13, 2003, at her daughter's home, after battling leukemia.
She was a former schoolteacher.
She retired in 1989, after teaching for 28 years at Park Hill High School as head of the Home Economics Department.
She also taught at Raytown Junior High School, Platte City High School and Lutie Elementary in Theodosia.
She was very active in the Platte County Fair Association.
Mrs. Houx is survived by one son, Shawn Houx and his wife, Dana, of Platte County; one daughter, Joni McCosh and her husband, Joel, of Platte County; two grandchildren, Taylor Houx and Dylan McCosh; and one brother, Earl (Buster) Snider and his wife, Joy, of Clinton County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and her parents, Earl and Ida (Lee) Snider.

Samuel DeWayne Teague, 1938-2002
Graveside services for Samuel DeWayne Teague, 63, of Lewisville, Texas, were held Friday, Feb. 8 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lewisville, Texas.
Mr. Teague died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, in Taylor, Mich.
He was born June 28, 1938, in Wewoka, Okla.
He was a pipeline inspector for Mustang Engineering.
He worked in the pipeline industry much of his life and also had worked for an auto dealer and as a motel owner/operator.
He was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Mr. Teague is survived by his wife, Myrna; two sons, Phillip Inman and his wife, Ellen, of Lewisville, Texas, and Charles Smith and his wife, Angela, of Las Vegas, Nev.; five daughters, Jeanetta Calhoun, her son, Michael Henson, and her husband, Rodney Howard of Odessa, Texas, Mischelle Schmucker and her husband, Dan, of Gainesville, Nancy Mathis Bryant and her husband, Kenneth, of Wewoka, Okla., Dana Lee Proffit of Joplin and Shawnda Teague of Bossier City, La.; one sister, Shirley Tingwald of Wewoka, Okla.; two brothers-in-law, Roger Sanderson of Odessa, Texas, and Larry Sanderson and his wife, Linda, of Lewisville, Texas; mother-in-law, Jeanette Sanderson; three grandsons; two granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

Joe B. Johnson, 1935-2002
Joe B. Johnson, 66, of Rockford, Tenn., formerly of Bakersfield, died Monday, June 10 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Tennessee.
He was born Aug. 29, 1935, in Vidette, Ark., the son of Ralph and Cecil Johnson.
He enjoyed fishing.
Mr. Johnson is survived by one son, Darrell Johnson of Greeneville, Tenn.; two brothers, Guy Johnson of Belvidere, Ill., and Tony Johnson of Bakersfield; three sisters, Dortha Johnson, Peggy Jeffery and Sue Cockrum all of Bakersfield; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gail and Ray Headrick of Walland, Tenn.; special friends, Daryl and Bea Johnston; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; his parents; and one brother, Claud Johnson.
