Alma F. Anderson of Perryville, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999 at Perry Oaks Healthcare Center. She was 84.
She was born on Feb. 9, 1915 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Marcellus and Mary Louise (Siefert) Jannin.
She was married in 1950 to Elliot Anderson, who preceded her in death on July 22, 1954.
Survivors include two brothers and one sister, Vince Jannin, Lester Jannin and Gladys Gibbar, all of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and five sisters.
The family prefers memorials to be made to Masses.
The funeral Mass was held on Friday, Nov. 19 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Rev. Rich Lause, C.M. officiating.
Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Winfred P. Baudendistel
Winfred P. (Wick) Baudendistel of Perryville, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000 at Barnes Jewish Hospital.
He was 59.
He was born Jan. 8, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, the son of the late Clarence and Stella (Moonier) Baudendistel.
He was married on Jan. 10, 1983 to Sharon (Vernon) Baudendistel of Perryville, who survives.
Other survivors include two sons and one daughter, Curt and Connie Vernon of Perryville; Donna and David Jones of Mobile, Ala. and Winfred (Chip) Baudendistel of Goose Creek, S.C.; one brother, Francis Baudendistel of Perryville; three grandchildren and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Baudendistel was a U.S. Army Veteran serving seven tours in Vietnam.
He was retired from the U.S. Army Green Beret Special Forces Infantry.
He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, and a life member of V.F.W. and AmVets.
Visitation will also be today, Tuesday, Feb. 29 at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville from 6:30-8:30 a.m.
The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Benjamin J. Berkbuegler
Benjamin J. Berkbuegler of Perryville, died Wednesday, May 24, 2000 at his residence.
He was 59.
He was born March 19, 1941 in Perry County, the son of the late Ben and Gertrude (Rulo) Berkbuegler.
He was married Feb. 10, 1962 to Shirley J. (Robertson) Berkbuegler who survives in Perryville.
Other survivors include one daughter, Kathy Berkbuegler of Perryville; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Reachel Berkbuegler of Perryville; two brothers, Richard Berkbuegler of Festus and Ray Berkbuegler of St. Louis; three sisters, Lucille Mohesky of St. John; Betty Moll of Perryville; and Wanda Lukefahr of Highland; and four grandchildren, Jonathan, Caleb, Alex, and Kaley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Allen Joseph Berkbuegler; and one sister, Mary Ellen.
Mr. Berkbuegler was a Chrysler employee.
He was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer and NRA.
The family requests memorials be made to Christ the Savior Catholic Church.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer with the Rev. Felipe Martinez C.M. officiating. Burial was in the Church Cemetery.

Norma H. Bellmann
Norma H. Bellmann of Washington, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000 at Cedarcrest Manor in Washington, Mo.
She was 85.
She was born June 25, 1915 in Altenburg, the daughter of the late Martin and Martha (Lohmann) Bellmann.
Survivors include one brother, Oscar (Leona) Bellmann of Altenburg and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Wilber Bellmann, Theobold Bellmann, Arthur Bellmann, and Rudolf Bellmann; four sisters, Edna Bellmann, Rose Heines, Gertrude Kuehnert, and Irma Wittke.
Ms. Bellmann was employed in library work for many years.
She received her education in Altenburg.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington, Mo. as well as their Ladies Aid, Earnest Workers, and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
The family prefers memorials to be made to Concordia Seminary Library in St. Louis.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington, Mo. with the Rev. Mark Bangert officiating.
Burial was in the Church Cemetery.
Elaine Buerck
Elaine L. (Huber) Buerck of Perryville, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000 at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.
She was 83.
She was born Jan. 10, 1917 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Emil and Emma (Sutterer) Huber.
She was married Sept. 23, 1941 in Perryville to Kenrick Buerck, who preceded her in death Sept. 4, 1979.
Survivors include four sons, David Buerck, Melvin Buerck, Lynn Buerck, and Paul Buerck all of Perryville; two daughters, Irene Sheerin of Shawnee, Kan. and Doreen Davis of Maryland Heights; one brother, Lincoln Huber of Perryville; 26 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters, and four brothers.
Mrs. Buerck had been a homemaker.
She was a past member of the Ladies Sodality of Belgique.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
The family prefers memorials to be made to St. Vincent School System or Parkinson's Disease Research.
Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:50 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2 at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
The Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

Mandy Blyzes
Mandy (Hammontree) Blyzes of Friedheim, formerly of East Prairie, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.
She was 73.
She was born Nov. 27, 1927 in Birmingham, Ala., the daughter of the late William and Ida Bell (Simpson) Hammontree.
She was married to Thurman Edward Blyzes who preceded her in death April 30, 1990.
Survivors include three sons and one daughter-in-law, Orville Ray and Sue Blyzes and William Talbert Blyzes of Friedheim; Thurman Michael Blyzes of Chaffee; one daughter, Mary Belle Wright of Perryville; one brother, George Hammontree of Blythe, Calif.; two sisters, Celia Flinkman of Auburn, Wash. and Katherine Loflin of East Prairie; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, one sister, and one great-granddaughter, Kelly Nicole Wright.
Mrs. Blyzes had lived in Friedheim since 1965 where she and her late husband engaged in farming.
She was of the Baptist Faith.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 6 at the Shelby Chapel with Brother David Dowdy, pastor of the St. James General Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Blyzes, Chris Blyzes, Billy Blyzes, Fred Wright, Jonathan Wright, and Robert T. Wright.

Viola Beal
Viola (McLane) Beal of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was 96.
She was born Feb. 15, 1905 in Oak Ridge, the daughter of the late Hinkle and Ada (Crites) McLane.
She was married June 2, 1922 to Harold Vest Beal, who preceded her in death Jan. 23, 1963.
Survivors include seven cousins, Barbara Levine and Judy Meyr of Dallas, Texas; Marjorie Stearns of Perryville; Gene Wilcox of Las Vegas, Nev.; Dean Ford of Oak Ridge; Mary Belle Niswonger of Cape Girardeau; and Norma Noland of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Mrs. Beal was a salesclerk at Buckner-Ragsdale for 47 years.
She was a member of Maple United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary Post 63, V.F.W. Auxiliary, and Order of Eastern Star.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 7 at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Don Kuehle officiating.
Burial was in the Cape County Memorial Park.
