Bessie (Nicholson) McKinney of Scott City, died Monday, June 18, 2001 at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.
She was 93.
She was born May 12, 1908 in Anna, Ill., the daughter of the late Will and Louvina (Boyer) Nicholson.
She was married to John E. Gearing, who preceded her in death Oct. 14, 1962.
She was then married June 3, 1968 in Scott City to John Jefferson McKinney, who preceded her in death April 17, 1981.
Survivors include one son, Ralph Stilley of Harrisburg, Ill.; two daughters, Vicki Winchester of Jackson and Ann West of Perryville; one sister, Louetta Schaubel of Owatonna, Minn.; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one daughter, one brother, and three sisters.
Mrs. McKinney was a home maker and a cook for Scott City Schools.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Scott City.
The funeral service was held Thursday, June 21, at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating.
Burial was in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.

Mary Robinson
Mary A. (Buchheit) Robinson of Perryville, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2002 at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.
She was 91.
She was born Aug. 31, 1911 at Apple Creek, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Schonoff) Buchheit.
She was married Nov. 15, 1932 in Perryville, to Edward G. Robinson, Sr., who preceded her in death Jan. 7, 1999.
Survivors include three daughters, Rose Catherine (Carl) Buchheit and Yvonne (David) Steinbecker, both of Perryville, and Marge Steinbecker of St. Louis; two sons, Frank (Joan) Robinson and Edward (Kathy) Robinson, both of Perryville; one sister, Alma Schnurbusch of Perryville; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Rose Buchheit, Minnie Buchheit, and Viola Lundy; and six brothers, Alphonse Buchheit, Frank Buchheit, Wally Buchheit, John Buchheit, Fritz Buchheit, and Norbert "Skip" Buchheit.
Mrs. Robinson was a cook at St. Mary's Seminary.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the Ladies Sodality, and the Daughters of Isabella, all in Perryville.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
The love of God and the love of her family were the most important things in her life.
She volunteered much of her time to the St. Vincent de Paul Parish by hosting quilting parties in her home.
Her home was always open to family and friends.
She was a precious gift to all who knew her.
Her presence will be greatly missed by those who were touched by her life and her love.
The family prefers memorials to be made to St. Vincent Education Foundation, Masses, Ladies Sodality, or the Daughters of Isabella.
The funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.

Wilma Masters
Wilma (Whittaker) Masters of Frohna, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002 at her home. She was 76.
She was born Dec. 23, 1926 in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of the late Rueben and Lucy (Reynolds) Whittaker.
She was married Dec. 6, 1968 to Donald Lee Masters, who preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1991.
Survivors include three sons, Edward Schilling of Jackson, Jerry Schilling of Three Rivers, TX, and Timothy Schilling of Houston, TX; one daughter, Crystal Hilse of Frohna; five sisters, Retha Popp, Peggy Blaylock, and Antoinette McLain, all of Cape Girardeau, Maxine Swanner of Brookland, AR, and Doris Berry of Oak Ridge; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two brothers.
Mrs. Masters was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, the Ladies Aid, and Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home, Inc. in Jackson, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial was in the Jackson City Cemetery.

Natalie T. Hoehne
Natalie T. (Fiehler) Hoehne of Frohna, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000 at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was 90.
She was born Feb. 6, 1910 in Frohna, the daughter of the late Charles and Clothilda (Boehme) Fiehler.
She was married Aug. 15, 1927 to George Hoehne, who preceded her in death May 16, 1999.
Survivors include four daughters and two sons, Vera (Robert) Sandler of Perryville; Lillian (Harold) Kasten of Uniontown; Gloria (S. Lee) Brothers of Frohna; Ruth (Fred W.) Frye of St. Louis; Ralph (Jill) Hoehne of Perryville; and George (Jean) Hoehne, Jr. of Tucson, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sons, Charles Hoehne, Ernst Hoehne, and Richard Hoehne; five brothers; one sister, Lorna Shields; and three grandsons.
Mrs. Hoehne was a home maker.
She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna and Concordia Ladies Aid.
The family prefers memorials to be made to Concordia Remodeling or Saxony Lutheran High School.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 28 and again from 6:30-8:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29 at Young & Sons East Perry Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 29 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating.
Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Adolph H. Weber
Adolph H. "Jim" Weber of Perryville, died Monday, April 9, 2001 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was 83.
He was born Aug. 28, 1917 in Perry County, the son of the late Benjamin and Frieda (Herring) Weber.
He was married Nov. 15, 1942 to Olga (Bachmann) Weber, who preceded him in death Nov. 28, 1976.
He was also married Aug. 1, 1981 to Virginia (Blessing) Bohnert Weber, who survives in Perryville.
Other survivors include one daughter and three sons, Charlotte (Curtis) Hadler of Perryville; Robert (Geneva) Weber of Jackson; Dennis (Louise) Weber of Cape Girardeau; and Kenny Weber of Perryville; one step-daughter and two step-sons, Velda (Jim) Unterreiner and Wayne (Jeanette) Bohnert, both of Perryville; and Eddie (Judy) Bohnert of Arnold; four sisters-in-law, Vera Bachmann of St. Louis, Verna Bachmann of Belleville, Ill.; Lorna Dreyer of Cape Girardeau; and Helen Weber of Perryville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; infant daughter; three brothers and two sisters, Rudy Weber, Walter Weber, Martin Weber, Esther Ruch, and Emma Schilling; one daughter-in-law, Debra (Stein) Weber; and one step-daughter, Wanda Boxdorfer.
Mr. Weber was a World War II Army veteran.
He was a retired carpenter.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 133 in Perryville.

The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 11 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating.

Ennis Rawlings
Ennis (Tony) Rawlings of Perryville, died Friday, June 15, 2001 at his home.
He was 85.
He was born Oct. 8, 1915 in Doniphan, the son of the late Fred and Daisy (Schanks) Rawlings.
He was married to Georgia L. Kohm, who preceded him in death Jan. 26, 1995.
Survivors include two sons, Sidney R. Rawlings of Warrenton and Mike Rawlings of Wright City; two brothers, Harry Rawlings of Texas and Art Rawlings of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Mr. Rawlings was a mechanic.
He was a member of the Baptist Faith, River Hill Eagles in Perryville, the Model A Ford Club, and a past member of the Lions Club.
The funeral service was at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 17 at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz, C.M. officiating.
Burial was in Home Cemetery in Perryville.

James Gregory Watts
James Gregory (Greg) Watts of Perryville, died Saturday, July 28, 2001 at his home.
He was 38.
He was born March 19, 1963 in Victoria, Texas, the son of James "Buck" Jr. and Kay Frances (Winfield) Watts of Perryville.
Other survivors include one son, Nathan Watts of Skiatook, Okla.; one daughter, Nikki Watts of Sand Springs, Okla.; one sister, Kimberly Hiten of Alex, Okla.; maternal grandparents, Kate and Harold Winfield of Victoria, Texas; and paternal grandmother, Viola Elizabeth Watts of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James B. Watts Sr. and one stepdaughter, Richie Coronado.
Mr. Watts was a graduate of Perryville High School.
He was a member of the Freedom of the Road Riders and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Memorials are preferred to family choice.
