Jackie "Jack" Gene Kaiser Sr. of Sanford, Fla., formerly of Perryville, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000 of cancer.
He was 73.
He was born Oct. 27, 1927 in Patton, the son of the late L. P. and Aliene (Robinson) Kaiser of Patton.
He was married to Pat Kaiser, who survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Jack Kaiser Jr., Jerry Kaiser, and James Kaiser; and one daughter, Mary all of central Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Kaiser was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a 1945 graduate of Perryville High School.
While living in Perryville for a number of years, he was employed by Huber Oil Company of Perryville.
He moved to central Florida in 1967.
He was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
He was an officer of the Seminole County Bowling Association and member of the Florida Bowling Hall of Fame.
The family prefers memorials to be made to Christ United Methodist Church or Hospice of the Comforter.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, 2000 at Christ United Methodist Church in Sanford, Fla. with the Rev. Raymond L. Bertrand officiating.
Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home Oaklawn Chapel in Sanford, Fla. provided the arrangements.
Rev. Raymond A. Krueger
Rev. Raymond A. Krueger of Rochester, Minn., died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester, Minn.
He was 87.
He was born May 4, 1913 in Farrar, the son of the late John W. and Martha (Fritsche) Krueger.
He was married Nov. 21, 1940 at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown to Hilda Alma (Popp) Krueger, who survives in Rochester, Minn.
Other survivors include two daughters and one son, Grace (Rev. Bernard H.) Ansorge of Huntsville, Ala.; Fred (Diane) Krueger of Lincoln, Ill.; and Marilyn Krueger of St. Paul, Minn.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Lucy Krueger, Alma Hoehn, and Verna Schoen; and two brothers, Walter Krueger and Gilbert Krueger.
Rev. Krueger lived in St. Louis from 1939 to 1952; Centralia, Ill., from 1952 to 1960; Rochester, Minn., from 1960 until his death.
He graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 1939.
Rev. Krueger was a member of Grace Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in Rochester, Minn. from 1960 until retiring in 1976.
He was a member of Centralia Community Development Board in Centralia, Ill. for seven years; International Rotary Club for 18 years in St. Louis and Centralia, Ill.; and YMCA World Service Board in Rochester, Minn.
The family prefers memorials to be made to The Krueger Memorial Fund c/o Grace Lutheran Church in Rochester, Minn., for disbursement to the Lutheran Tour or charity or donor's choice.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27 at Ranfranz Funeral Home in Rochester, and also for one hour prior to the funeral at the church Thursday, Dec. 28.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 at Grace Lutheran Church in Rochester, Minn., with the Rev. Bernard H. Ansorge and Rev. Gregory N. Heidorn officiating.
Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester, Minn.
