Jeff Yandell
NEELYVILLE -- Jeff Yandell, 67, of Harviell died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Yandell was born Jan. 5, 1935, in Weber Falls, Okla.
He was a lifelong resident of the Neelyville and Harviell areas and was a retired farmer.
He was affiliated with the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed fishing, collecting Indian relics and auctions.
He was married to Helen Marie Brickley.
He later married Ruth Helton on Feb. 1, 2002.
She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, James Yandell of Neelyville, Frankie Yandell of Kokomo, Ind., and Glen Yandell of Harviell; three stepsons, Danny Brickley and David Hensley, both of Corning, Ark., and Daniel Hensley of Odessa; three daughters, Kathy Ainley of Harviell, Janie Milam of Qulin and Patricia Bruce of Poplar Bluff; one stepdaughter, Ethel Glover of Harrisonville; four sisters, Vada James of Oxly, Marlean Norton of Harviell and Sue Holt and Mary Ray, both of Corning; five brothers, J.W. Yandell of Neelyville, Donnie Yandell and Larry Yandell, both of Corning, Danny Yandell of Doniphan and Richard Yandell of Success, Ark.; five step-grandchildren; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon Sunday at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville.
A graveside funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Neelyville City Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Snow officiating.

Laura Center
MALDEN -- Laura Center, 86, of Campbell died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Arrangements are pending with Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Thelma Stephens
PUXICO -- Thelma Stephens, 85, of Puxico, formerly of McGee, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Stephens was born June 6, 1917, in McGee.
She was a member of Brown General Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, going to church and singing in the choir.
On April 2, 1938, she married Oren Stephens in Bloomfield.
He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Keith Stephens of Jackson and Gary Stephens of St. Peters; one daughter, Jean Placher of Puxico; three sisters, Edna Barks of Puxico, Lois Wilfong of McGee and Mary J. Barks of Cahokia, Ill.; two brothers, Henry Rodgers of Tulelake, Calif., and Pete Rodgers of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Morgan-Sifford Funeral Home in Puxico.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Brown General Baptist Church with the Rev. John Buttry officiating.
Burial will be in Brown General Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ashlee Reeser
GREENVILLE -- Ashlee Reeser, 20, of Greenville, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, as the result of an auto accident in Wayne County.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel in Greenville.

Helen Payne
ELLINGTON -- Helen Payne, 74, of Poplar Bluff, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral arrangements are pending with McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellington.

Alice Watson
MALDEN -- Alice L. Watson, 95, of Hollister, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at her residence.
Mrs. Watson was born Jan. 23, 1908, in Flowerlake, Miss.
She was a member of New Life Temple in Hollister.
Survivors include six sons, William Shan of Moberly, J. C. Watson and Robert Watson, both of Malden, Henry Watson of Oglesby, Ill., Gavie Watson of Utica, Ill., and Wayne Watson of Hollister; four daughters, Novella Taylor of Hollister, Ruby Parks of Malden, Ruth Ruby of Branson and Mary Haney of Springfield; 47 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon until 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of God in Malden.
The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the church sanctuary with the Rev. James Wampler officiating.
Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden is in charge of arrangements.

Betty Talley
ADVANCE -- Betty R. Talley, 67, of South Roxana, Ill., died Monday, April 14, 2003, at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Ill.
Mrs. Talley was born June 4, 1935, in Zalma. She was a homemaker.
On Nov. 14, 1953, she married Russell Eugene Talley.
He preceded her in death Dec. 6, 1983.
Survivors include one son, Darrell Talley of Bunker Hill, Ill.; one daughter, Pat Bruner of South Roxana; three brothers, Raymond Campbell of Springfield, Ill., Gilbert Campbell of Delhi, Ill., and Willard Campbell of Hettick, Ill.; one sister, Jessie Gulley of Scott City; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park at Marble Hill.

Barbara Oliver
PUXICO -- Barbara Ann Oliver, 54, of Dudley, died Monday, June 2, 2003, at her residence.
Mrs. Oliver was born March 8, 1949, in Dudley.
She was a member of Corinth General Baptist Church in Puxico and was a director for Parents as Teachers in Puxico.
She was owner and operator of Little Wonder Day Care Center in Puxico and a counselor for the Judevine Autistic Foundation.
She enjoyed flowers and grandbabies.
On July 20, 1968, she married James Oliver in Puxico. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, David Oliver of Puxico; two daughters, Leigh Anne Rommel of Poplar Bluff and Sherry McGill of Puxico; three brothers, Lyman Fowler and Harvey Fowler, both of Puxico, and Floyd Ray Fowler of Perryville, Ohio; one sister, Elwanda Sebree of Dudley; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will begin after 6 tonight at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bob Bradford and the Rev. Jimmy Clark officiating.
Burial will bin Puxico Cemetery.

Anna Taylor
Anna Frances Taylor, 65, of Poplar Bluff, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at her residence.
Mrs. Taylor was born Sept. 30, 1937, in Paragould, Ark.
She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
On Oct. 23, 1976, she married Jerry Lee Taylor in New Orleans.
He survives.
Other survivors include one sister, Donna Vickery of Houston, Texas.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Mr. Jerry Robertson officiating.
Cotrell Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Darrell Hunter, Jr.
Darrell Ross Hunter, Jr., 43, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, June 1, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Hunter was born Oct. 8, 1959, in Dexter and was disabled.
He was a former minister and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn S. Pennington of Poplar Bluff; and two sisters, Rema Revelle and Rachel Brooks, both of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff.
A graveside funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley with the Rev. Eddy Sisco officiating.

Fern Clark
FISK - Fern Alberta (Hayes) Clark, 78, of Paducah, Ky., died Thursday, Feb. 22, 2001, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Mrs. Clark was born July 18, 1922, in Fisk.
She was a homemaker and had lived in Paducah for six years.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
On Feb. 1, 1942, she married William Lawrence "Curly" Clark.
He preceded her in death Nov. 2, 1974.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Cook of Paducah; one son, Bobby Clark of Alabama; one sister, Maxine Surber of Bourbon; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at the White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jimmie Dunn officiating.
Burial will be in the Shain Memorial Cemetery in Fisk.
