PUXICO -- Kyle James Alaniz, infant son of Shannon and Michelle Alaniz, was stillborn Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include his parents and grandparents, Debbie and Ray Alaniz of Puxico and Charles and Trease Grillas of Fisk.
A graveside funeral service was held at 1 p.m. today at Puxico City Cemetery with Bobby Moore officiating.
Morgan-Sifford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Homer Wilson
Homer Wilson, 82, of Poplar Bluff, died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Wilson, the son of the late Jasper Brown and Eliza Elizabeth (Armstrong) Wilson, was born Sept. 11, 1920, in Butler County and graduated from Rounsaville Business College.
He retired from the U.S. Forestry Service in 1977.
During his tenure, he participated in the construction of the Markham Springs Recreation Area.
He was a member of the Township Line Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School for many years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during World War II in Germany, where he flew gliders.
He enjoyed raising treeing walker dogs, coon hunting, and gardening.
On Oct. 26, 1945, he married Wilma Bernice Warbington.
She preceded him in death Aug. 25, 1998.
On Sept. 11, 1999, he married Ruby Beatrice Crook Wilson.
She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Richard "Rick" Wilson and wife, Sue, of Poplar Bluff; three stepchildren, Larry Wilson and wife, Marsha, of Mariloma, Calif., Wadina Cope and husband, Sam, of Ft. Smith, Ark., Rita Castillo and husband, Carlos, of Moore, Okla.; two grandchildren, Aaron Wilson and wife, Shelly, of St. Louis, and Matthew Wilson of Springfield; two brothers, Acel Brown Wilson and James Monroe "Roe" Wilson, of Poplar Bluff; and one sister, Alma Jane Warbington of Poplar Bluff.
Visitation will begin at 7 tonight at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff.
The funeral service will begin at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Curtis Howard officiating.
Burial will be in the Shepherd Cemetery.

ELLINGTON -- Ella Mae Yates, 90, of Ellington, died Monday, April 14, 2003, at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis.
Mrs. Yates was born March 9, 1913, in Ellington.
She was a homemaker and member of Believers Chapel Church.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and fishing.
On Sept. 16, 1931, she married Luin R. Yates in Ellington.
He preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Lester Yates of Dittmer; one daughter, Geneva Leiweke of Chesterfield; ten grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 tonight at McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellington.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Believers Chapel Church in Ellington with Pastor Marvin Richards officiating.
Burial will be in Rumburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
