MALDEN -- Bobby Joe Coffer, 67, of Dexter died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, near Buck Snort in Oregon County.
Mr. Coffer was born Sept. 8, 1936, in Danville, Ark.
He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Malden, where he was a former resident.
On July 21, 1955, he married Doris Marie Holbrook in Kennett.
She preceded him in death Dec. 17, 1992.
On Aug. 7, 1993, he married June Tucker Kent in Dexter.
She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Jack Coffer of Hornbeck, Tenn.; four daughters, Paula Handley of Bernie, Deanna Hendricks of Houston, Texas, Shirlene Reed of Malden and Shellie Farmer of Dexter; one stepson, Steve Kent of Dexter; one stepdaughter, Lora Kent of Indianapolis; three brothers, Floyd Coffer of Kennett, George Coffer of Montgomery, Texas, and Jim Coffer of North Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Para Lee White and Betty Austin, both of Kennett; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the First Pentecostal Church in Malden.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev. Leroy Young officiating.
Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden is in charge of arrangements.
Connie Creach
NEELYVILLE -- Connie Lee Creach, 83, of Neelyville died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Mr. Creach was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Minarca, Ark.
He was a lifelong resident of Butler County.
He was a former automobile and golf cart salesman and was a member of the Lions Club in Neelyville, where he had served as president.
He was a member of the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Harviell where he had served as a trustee on the church board and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as an MP in Washington, D.C., during World War II.
He enjoyed golfing and hunting.
On March 10, 1941, he married Geraldine Magruder in Naylor.
She preceded him in death Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Creach and wife Sharon of Neelyville; one daughter, Faye Spurgeon and husband James of Richardson, Texas; two grandsons, Billy Jinright and Damon Creach; four granddaughters, Kim Jinright, Becky Lykins, Christy Petty and Sherri Jennings; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Also preceding him in death were his parents, Newton and Marget Matilda Crowell Creach; one daughter, Judy Kay Creach on Sept. 18, 1958; five sisters, Oda Moore, Mae Temple, Irene Griffin, Lucille Thurman and Otha Harris; and three brothers, Oland Creach, Ewing Creach and Lonnie Creach, his twin brother.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with Elder Rodney Abney and Elder Terry Sharp officiating.
Burial will be in Kinsey Cemetery in Harviell.
Memorials may be made to the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

ELLINGTON -- Jerry Reese Sr., 53, of Ellington died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare-North Campus in Poplar Bluff.

PIEDMONT -- Opal Davis, 86, of Patterson died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, at her residence.

QULIN -- Roy E. Robertson, 66, of Qulin died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.
Mr. Robertson was born Nov. 4, 1936, in Qulin and was affiliated with the Christian faith.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn Robertson of Poplar Bluff and Lonnie Robertson of Patterson; three daughters, Lisa Loury of Doniphan, Deana Jenkins of Harviell and Angela Robertson of St. Louis; his mother, Alberta Robertson of Qulin; three brothers, Ray Robertson of Poplar Bluff, Jerry Robertson of Doniphan and Larry Robertson of Marissa, Ill.; one sister, Freida Jones of Tuscon, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at noon Friday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin.
The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Karl Kline officiating.
Burial will be in the Qulin Cemetery.

Betty Nierman
DONIPHAN -- Betty Lou Nierman, 75, of Doniphan died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, at her residence.
Mrs. Nierman was born Feb. 4, 1928, in Pine.
She was affiliated with the Baptist faith and was a retired certified nurse's aid for the Doniphan Nursing Home and Walnut Street Home.
She enjoyed spending time with family and fishing.
On Sept. 29, 1946, she married Raymond F. Nierman Sr. in St. Louis.
He preceded her in death Oct. 18, 1995.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Barton of Doniphan and Kim Evans of Rose Hill, Kan.; four sons, Tim Nierman of Doniphan, Raymond F. Nierman Jr. of Sikeston, Scott Nierman of St. Louis and Steve Nierman of Derby, Kan.; two sisters, Myrtle Ann Carter of Wentzville and Wilma Plank of St. Charles; one brother, Bill Wilson of Doniphan; 12 grandsons; 15 granddaughters; 13 great-grandsons; and 14 great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan.
