Services were Thursday, Oct. 2, 1997 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield.
The body was cremated.

Geneva Mae Ashley, 83, of Exeter. Passed away from Saturday, Oct. 4, 1997.
Born Sept. 30, 1914 in Blum, Texas.
Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 6, 1997, in Martha Cemetery, Martha, Okla.

William A. Coleman, 80, Rogers, Ark. Passed away Saturday, Oct. 4, 1997.
Born January 30, 1997 in Aurora.
Graveside service was Tuesday, Oct. 7, 1997.

Carl S. "Dusty" Rhodes, 73, Shell Knob. Passed away Oct. 5, 1997.
Born June 13, 1924 in Ozark.
Memorial services were Wednesday, Oct. 8, 1997 at Peace Lutheran Church, Shell Knob.

Jamison C. Jacques, 16, Pierce City. Passed away Monday, Oct. 6, 1997. Born Dec. 22, 1980 in Springfield.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at Lakin Funeral Home, Pierce City.

Helen E. Braun, of Purdy, passed away Thursday, January 15, 1998. Born December 28, 1902, in LaRose, Ill.
Memorial services were December 31, 1997 Christ Lutheran Church, Lubbock, Texas.
She taught in several rural schools in Barry and Lawrence Counties.

James O. Hensley, 61, of Shell Knob, passed away Sunday, January 18, 1998.
Born April 4, 1936 in Hartshorn.
Services were Wednesday, January 21, 1998, at First Baptist Church, Shell Knob.

Paul Glen Henson, 89, of Pierce City, passed away Saturday, January 17, 1998.
Born January 21, 1908 at Jenkins.
Services were Tuesday, January 20, 1998 at Waldensian Presbyterian Church, Monett.

Ava Langley, 87, of Kimberling City, passed away Sunday, January 18, 1998.
Born October 30, 1910 in Independence, Kan.
Graveside services were Wednesday, January 21, 1998 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Independence, Kan.

Thomas E. Akers, 83, Cassville, passed away Saturday, January 17, 1998.
There will be a memorial service at the American Legion Building on Wednesday, January 28, 1998 at 10 a.m.
James Stevens, the commander will lead the service.

FRED FARMER
Fred Farmer, 85, of Purdy, died at 10:05 p.m. Monday, April 19, 1999, at McCune-Brooks Hospital in Carthage, following a short illness.
Fred was born February 8, 1914 in Purdy, the son of the late William and Magie Weidner Farmer.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 22 at the St. John's Lutheran Church of Purdy with Rev. E.W. Wolf officiating.
Memorial has been established with the Bethesda Lutheran Home in care of the Funeral Home.

GREGORY DALTON
Gregory Ray Dalton, 29, of Washburn, died at 6:35 p.m. Monday, April 19, 1999, at his residence in Washburn.
Mr. Dalton, son of Edward Ray and Margie Irene Edmonson Dalton, was born on August 23, 1969, in Stockton, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 22 at the Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville with Rev. Raymond Lambert and Rev. Bob Scott officiating.
Burial will be at Roller Cemetery, west of Washburn.

VERA LANSDOW
N Vera Williams Lansdown, 76, of Cassville, passed away at 7:20 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 1999, in her home following an extended illness, with all her family present.
She was born April 3, 1923, in Neodesha, Kan.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 18, in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. in Williams Cemetery, Berryville, Ark.
Those who wish may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
They may be sent or taken to Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

JOE COLLINS
Joe Allen Collins, 52, of Purdy, died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark., following a sudden illness.
Mr. Collins was born June 30, 1946, in Lamar, the son of the late Benjamin an Della Mae Bell Collins.
Funeral Services were held April 17 at the New Freedom Worship Center of Purdy with Rev. Joe Wogoman officiating.
A graveside service was held at the Ruhamah Cemetery in Rantaul, Kan., April 20.

FANNIE MILLER
Fannie Mae Miller, 89, of Russellville, Ark., formerly of Marionville, died at 4:45 a.m. Thursday, April 15, 1999, at her residence in Russellville, Ark., following a brief illness.
Mrs. Miller, daughter of Fines and Lizzie McCaslin Forester, was born on Oct. 23, 1909, in Marionville.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 17 at the Mars Hill Community Building, north of Wheelerville, with Bill Springer officiating.
Burial was at Mars Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Russellville Hospice in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville.

ROBERT GRAHAM
Robert W. Graham, 69, of Shell Knob, died at 1:32 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at Carroll Regional Medical Center in Berryville, Ark., following a brief illness.
Mr. Graham, son of Gordon and Edith Cloyes Graham, was born on March 4, 1930, in Evanston, Ill.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner Crippled Children's Home in care of the funeral home.

ROBERT PITTS
Robert Pitts, 71, of Cassville, passed away Friday, April 16, 1999, at his home.
He was born December 28, 1927 in Cassville, the son of Theophelus E. and Mary E. Sims Pitts.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 19, 1999, in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
Rev. Mike Davidson will conducted the services.

LLOYD JORDAN
Lloyd W. Jordan, 77, of Cassville, died at home, Saturday, April 10, 1999, following a long illness.
Born in Cherokee, Kan., on May 27, 1921, he was the son of Lloyd W. and Matilda (Harper) Jordan.
Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City handled the arrangements locally, while Bruch Funeral Home conducted services Friday, April 16, at 11 a.m., in Kenosha, Wisc.
He was laid to rest next to his wife, at St. George Cemetery, next to Lake Michigan.

JOHNNIE BROCK
Johnnie W. Brock, 76, of Cassville, died at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Brock, son of Albert Washington and Lulu Jimerson Brock, was born on June 28, 1922, in Cassville.
Graveside services were held Saturday, April 17 at Horner Cemetery in Cassville with Rev. Russell Bishop officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.

LILLIAN LEHMBERG
Lillian Merle Long Lehmberg, 89, of Cassville, passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, in Barry County Care Center.
She was born Oct. 9, 1910, in Somerset, Texas, the daughter of George Travis and Lula Williams Long.
Memorial services will be held Sunday in Cassville United Methodist Church.
Burial will be held in Lytle Masonic Cemetery, Lytle, Texas.

SHARON TUMMONS
Sharon Rose Tummons, 57, of Washburn, died at 6:55 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at the Red Rose Inn in Cassville following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Tummons, daughter of Fred and Dolly Robson, was born on March 29, 1942, in Coffeyville, Kan.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville.

MARTHA VANTWUYVER
Martha M. VanTwuyver, 68, of Washburn, died at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at her residence following a sudden illness.
Mrs. Van Twuyver, daughter of Elwin and Thelma Allen Johnston, was born April 24, 1931, in Butte, Montana.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the Amphitheater at Roaring River State Park.

WILLA MAE WHORTON
Willa Mae Whorton, 94, of Marionville, formerly of Shell Knob and Wichita, Kan., died at 11:09 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at Aurora Community Hospital in Aurora following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Whorton, daughter of Felix and Mattie Davis, was born on Dec. 14, 1905, in Vanzandt, Texas.
Funeral services were Tuesday at the First Christian Church in Shell Knob.
Graveside services were at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Old Mission Cemetery in Wichita, Kan.

BRICE BURNETTE
Brice C. Burnette, 87, of Cassville, formerly of Washburn, passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, in South Barry County Hospital.
He was born Nov. 12, 1912, at Washburn, the son of Thomas and Viola McNabb Burnette.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) in Antioch Cemetery, Cassville.

LEONARD HAMILTON
Leonard "Len" Hamilton, 64, died at 9:55 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, at his residence in the Mano community following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Hamilton, son of Boyd Rawlins and Frances Webb Hamilton, was born Jan. 13, 1936, in Galena, Kan.
Funeral services were Friday at the Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville.
Burial was in Rocky Comfort Cemetery at Rocky Comfort.

HUBERT TITTES
Hubert Benjamin Tittes, 78, of Washburn, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2000, in in his home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1921, in Cornish, Colo., the son of Martin and Nellie Paul Tittes.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday in Washburn Prairie Cemetery.

BEN BINGHAM
Ben Michael Bingham, 70, of Exeter, passed away at 11:04 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at his home in Exeter following a short illness.
He was born Aug. 1, 1929, in Pryor, Okla., the son of the late Ralph Walter and Emmaline Hobbs Bingham.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

ETRIES QUICK
Etries Quick, 94, Mt. Vernon, formerly of Cassville, died at 12:25 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at the Mt. Vernon Place Care Center.
Mrs. Quick was born Oct. 11, 1905, to James David and Mary Elizabeth Shoffner Hopper at Sharps Chapel, Tenn.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church.
Burial was in Pennsboro Cemetery.

JERRY WHISMAN
Jerry Waldon Whisman, Monett, passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at 10:45 a.m. at his home.
He was born Feb. 11, 1941, in Shell Knob to Lee Whisman and Anna Lorene Mikeman Whisman.
Graveside services were today (Wednesday) at the IOOF Cemetery in Monett.

AGNES TAGGART JACKSON
Agnes Taggart Jackson, 85, of Cassville, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2000, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.
She was born July 2, 1914, in Harrison, Ark., the daughter of James M. and Josephine Peek Charles.
Funeral services were Tuesday in Williamson Funeral Home, Cassville.
Burial was in Taggart Royal Oak Cemetery, Cassville.

MAURICE COX
Maurice "Cotton" H. Cox, 62, of Grain Valley, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at the home of his daughter in Cassville where he resided the last eight months.
He was born Jan. 21, 1938, in White Flat, Texas, the son of Luther and Meddie Viola Howell Cox.
Funeral services were Saturday at the Methodist Church in Matador, Texas.
Burial was in East Mound Cemetery in Matador, Texas.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2000, at the Duncan Road Baptist Church in Blue Springs.

FONTELLA TURNBULL
Fontella Alta Turnbull, 80, of Marionville, passed away Friday, May 5, 2000, at the Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
She was born Aug. 31, 1919, in Barry County, the daughter of Frank and Cora Beshears Timmons.
Funeral Services were Monday at the Williamson Funeral Home in Cassville.
Burial was at Clio Cemetery at Jenkins.

BERNICE GARLAND
Bernice Garland, 95, of Cassville passed away Friday, May 5, 2000, in South Barry County Hospital in Cassville.
She was born Feb. 9, 1905, in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, the daughter of Thomas Henry and Olive McKee Willyard.
Graveside services were Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.

FRANK WOODRUFF
Frank Woodruff, 80, of Monett, passed away at 5:50 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2000, at Monett Health Care in Monett following a long illness.
He was born on Oct. 21, 1919, in Potuau, Okla., the son of the late William W. and Susie Davis Woodruff.
Funeral services were today (Wednesday) at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett.
Burial was in Monett IOOF Cemetery.

ELLSWORTH BRAND
Ellsworth Benjamin Brand, 78, of Monett, died at 9:55 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2000, at Countryside Care Center in Monett following a long illness.
He was born Feb. 18, 1922, in Springfield, Ill., the son of Charles George and Myrtle Pauline Roadems Brand.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett.
Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Butterfield.

RUSSELL JOHNSON
Russell Johnson, 84, of Banning, Calif., passed away May 1, 2000, of congestive heart failure.
Funeral services at Friday at Weaver Mortuary Chapel in Beaumont, Calif.

GEORGIA ANN LAUGHLIN CAMP
Georgia Ann Laughlin Camp, 87, McKinney, Texas, passed away May 27.
She was the daughter of John S. and Naomi "Oma" Moore Laughlin.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
Burial was in Roller Cemetery, west of Washburn.

LESLIE FERN JACOBS
Leslie Fern Jacobs, 92, of Rocky Comfort, passed away Friday, May 26, in McDonald County as a result of a car accident.
She was born May 7, 1908 in Preston County, W. Va., the daughter of James Albert and Minnie Everly Wright.
Funeral services was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.
Burial was in Union Cemetery, Stella.
