James Delbert Thomas, 68, Joplin,
Mo., passed away at 1:30 a.m. Sunday,
April 22, 2001 at a local nursing
home after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Thomas was born April 19, 1933
in Diamond, Mo., to James and Allie
Thomas and grew up in Duenweg, Mo.
He was a veteran of the Korean War.

quit believing in miracles.
Her strength, courage and never-
ending faith were an inspiration to
all who knew her.

Center, Kansas City, Mo.

Webb City, Mo. - Virginia M. Phillips,
age 95, of Tulsa, Okla. passed away
Saturday, July 7, 2001.
Mrs. Phillips was born September 29,
1905 in Carthage, Mo.
She had lived in the Webb City area
most of her adult life until moving
to Tulsa a year ago to be with her
daughter.
She was employed by Smith Brothers
Manufacturing Company of Webb City.
She was a member of St. John's
Episcopal Church in Neosho.
