Gilford Duvall
MILLER, Mo. - Gilford "Barney" Duvall, 84, Miller, died at 8:31 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 1997, at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
Mr. Duvall was born Oct. 3, 1912, west of Miller. He was a life-long resident. He was a farmer and horseman.
He was a member of Miller Christian Church, Miller Saddle Club, Northwest Arkansas Tri-State Cavalcade and several county committees.
He married Wilma Madge Ward on July 30, 1941, in Cassville. She survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Bill Duvall, Lee's Summit; a brother, Robert Duvall, Carthage; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, Miller. The Rev. J.K. Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Round Grove Cemetery, northwest of Miller.
The body may be viewed from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today.

Dorothy Hudson
AURORA, Mo. - Dorothy M. Hudson, 73, Aurora, died at 10 p.m. Monday, June 23, 1997, at the home of her son in Springfield after a long illness.
Mrs. Hudson was born March 9, 1924, in Aurora. She was a retired dairy farm manager. She was a member of Aurora First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Phillip Tuten, Springfield, Patrick Tuten, Shell Knob, and Paul Tuten, Wichita, Kan.; three brothers Don Wolfe, Colorado Springs, Colo., Darius Wolfe, McAllen, Texas, and Dennis Wolfe, Oroville, Calif.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora. Chaplain Robert Brooks Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Danielle Pachner
MONETT, Mo. - Danielle Jo Pachner, 9-month-old daughter of Jeff and Ronda Gressley Pachner, Monett, died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 1997, at Children's Hospital, St. Louis, after an illness since birth.
She was born Sept. 14, 1996, at Springfield. She attended First United Methodist Church, Monett.
Additional survivors include paternal grandparents, Rodger and Jeanne Pachner, Oberlin, Kan.; maternal grandparents, Darrell and Melva Gressley, Monett; paternal great-grandparents, Barbara Beisner, Oberlin, Bruce Chamber, Norton, Kan., and Louis and Donna Pachner, Oberlin; and maternal great-grandparents, Melvin Derr, Superior, Neb., and Goldie Turner, Clear Lake, Calif.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Monett. The Rev. Mark Mildren will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Monett.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
Lawrence Redshaw
PURDY, Mo. - Lawrence Earl Redshaw, 78, Purdy, died at 3:10 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 1997, at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, after a short illness.
Mr. Redshaw was born Feb. 3, 1919, at Knoke, Iowa. He moved to Purdy in 1962 from Fonda, Iowa. He was retired from Wells Aluminum and farming.
He was a member of Waldensian Presbyterian Church, Tom Wolfe Memorial Post No. 4207, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Disabled Veterans in Monett. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a recipient of the Bronze Star.
He married Donna Sauter on Feb. 14, 1949, at Jackson, Minn. She survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Richard Redshaw and David Redshaw, both of Purdy; a daughter, Dianna Brandhorst, Springfield; two brothers, Morris Redshaw, Sioux City, Iowa, and Earl Redshaw, Fonda; a sister, Dorothy Halverson, Purdy; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. The Rev. Wade Ditty will officiate. Burial will be in Purdy Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, in care of the funeral home.
Cleo Stubblefield
MONETT, Mo. - Cleo Mae Stubblefield, 74, Monett, died at 5:20 a.m. Friday, June 27, 1997, at a nursing home in Monett after a short illness.
Mrs. Stubblefield was born Sept. 24, 1922, at Tahlequah, Okla. She was a longtime Monett resident. She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church, Tahlequah.
She married Leland Stubblefield on Sept. 24, 1947, at Cassville. He died May 8, 1989.
Survivors include two sisters, Laura B. Able, Monett, and Katie Kuykendall, Bristow, Okla.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. The Rev. Arnold Ray Evans will officiate. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Monett.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
J.T. Crowder
J.T. Crowder, 86, 1515 Missouri Ave., died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 1997, at his home after a one-year illness.
Mr. Crowder was born July 26, 1910, in Humphries County, Tenn. He had lived in Joplin since 1936. He owned and operated Crowder Tree Surgery and Construction Co. He later owned and operated Crowder Tree Surgery and Pest Control from 1943 until retiring in 1985.
He was an elder, deacon and trustee of Bethany Presbyterian Church.
He was a member of Fellowship Lodge No. 345, AF&AM; Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Joplin; and Ruth Chapter No. 177 Order of Eastern Star.
He married Mary Lee Burpo on June 1, 1935, at Fulton, Ky. She survives.
Surviving are two daughters Janice Myers, 126 N. Grace Drive, and Mary Jo Bishop, 1521 Grand Ave.; a sister, Bertha Marie Anderson, Joplin; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bethany Presbyterian Church. The Rev. William Brock Watson will officiate. Burial will be in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Storm, Warren Myers, James Myers, Karl Nicholes, Dick DuRall and John Studebaker.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Parker Mortuary. The family will be at the home, 1515 Missouri Ave.
Donations may be made to the organ fund at Bethany Presbyterian Church or to the donor's favorite charity.
Harry Hay
Private services for Harry William Hay, 64, Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Joplin, who died Friday, will be conducted in Joplin.
He was a truck driver for Tri-State Motor Transit Co., Duenweg, and had worked for Missouri Steel Castings Co., Joplin.
Survivors include a daughter, Reatha Lori Matejcek, Davenport.
