Ginger Martin
CARTERVILLE, Mo. - Ginger Ann Coleman Martin, 38, Carterville, died at 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 1997, at her home after 1 year of ill health.
Mrs. Martin was born Dec. 25, 1958, at Carthage.
She had lived in the Webb City and Carterville areas most of her life.
She was a 1977 graduate of Webb City High School.
She was a cook at the Ramada Inn in Joplin the past 5 years.
She previously had worked in various area restaurants.
She married Larry Joe Martin on Sept. 5, 1986, at Webb City. He survives.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Crystal Coleman, Neosho, and Jennifer Leann Venson, of the home; her parents, Jack and Dorothy Coleman, Webb City; a brother, Randy Coleman, Joplin; two sisters, Brenda Jones, Webb City, and Pam Freeman, Purcell; and paternal grandmother, Eva Neoma Coleman, Webb City.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Webb City Cemetery. Randy L. Wilson, minister, will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Hedge-Lewis Funeral Home, Webb City.
The family will be at the home of her parents, 605 N. Roane St., Webb City.

Dorothy Montgomery
GREENFIELD, Mo. - Dorothy June Montgomery, 82, Greenfield, died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 1997, at a Greenfield nursing home after a long illness.
Mrs. Montgomery was born June 10, 1914, at Lockwood.
She was a homemaker and had worked for Ball Abstract for many years.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Greenfield.
She married Robert M. Montgomery on June 12, 1935, at Lamar.
He died Aug. 22, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Robert M. Montgomery Jr., Ozark; a sister, Ruth Ball, Greenfield; a brother, Don McCall, Gooding, Idaho; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association or the First Christian Church.
Alan Remilong
MARIONVILLE, Mo. - Dr. Alan Remilong, 42, Marionville, died at 8:59 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 1997, at Aurora Community Hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Remilong was born Dec. 5, 1954, at Mount Clemens, Mich.
He had lived in the Marionville area since 1986.
He was a osteopathic doctor and was board certified in family practice.
He was a member of Aurora Baptist Temple.
He married Margaret "Peggy" Escolas on Oct. 28, 1978, at Laramie, Wyo. She survives.
Additional survivors include his parents, Raymond and Joyce Remilong, Kingman, Ariz.; and a brother, Keith Remilong, St. Anthony, Idaho.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Aurora Baptist Temple.
The Rev. Fred Young will officiate.
Burial will be in Osa Cemetery, southeast of Aurora.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, Aurora.

Anna Sanders
CASSVILLE, Mo. - Anna Mae Mason Sanders, 76, Cassville, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 1997, at Carroll Regional Medical Center, Berryville, Ark., after an illness.
Mrs. Sanders was born Oct. 6, 1920, at Washburn.
She attended Washburn School.
She moved to Cassville in February 1994 from Wheaton, where she had lived for 45 years.
She worked as a cook for the Wheaton (Mo.) Headstart for 10 years.
She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Exeter.
She married Woodrow L. Mason on Dec. 10, 1938, at Bentonville, Ark.
He preceded her in death.
She married Ruben E. Sanders in June 1972 at Ridgley.
He died Feb. 5, 1992.
Survivors include five sons, Donnie Gay Mason and Gene Mason, both of Wheaton, Jerry Dean Mason, Monett, Bobby Lucene Mason, Mount Vernon, and James Elbridge Mason, Fayetteville, Ark.; a daughter, Virginia Ann Easley, Cassville; a stepson, Olen Sanders, Aurora; two sisters, Mayme Arhart, Ash Flat, Ark., and Nadine Morris, Portland, Ore.; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at King Cemetery, Seligman.
The Rev. Steve Higgs and the Rev. Richard Buck will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Danny R. Mason, Ricky D. Mason, Todd Mason, Tim Mason, Clint Mason and William Mason.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
Walter Smart
ROCKY COMFORT, Mo. - Services for Walter H. Smart, 77, Rocky Comfort, who died Wednesday, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairview (Mo.) Baptist Church.
The Rev. Lawrence Shuey and the Rev. Pat Patterson will officiate.
Burial will be in Dice Cemetery, Fairview.
Friends may call after noon today at Wheaton Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Jack Warren, Joe Kruse, Dean Harter, Junior Wolfe, Fred Corn and David Baker.
Contributions may be made to Fairview Baptist Church.
He married his first wife, Mable Erma Smart, in July 1946 and she died in 1983.
He married Opal Tichenor on March 9, 1984. She survives.
Additional survivors include six stepsons, R.L. Tichenor, Kansas City, Jean Tichenor, Charles Tichenor and Lloyd Tichenor, all of Wheaton, John Tichenor, the state of Alaska, and Ed Tichenor, Abilene, Texas; and numerous grandchildren.
Verna Nichols
Verna L. Nichols, 76, 2908 Brownell Ave., Joplin, died at 4:35 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 1997, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, after a short illness.
Mrs. Nichols was born April 27, 1920, at Avilla.
She had lived in the Joplin area for 45 years.
She was co-owner of Nichols Real Estate Agency, Joplin, and co-owner of Joplin Soft Water Co.
She worked as a bookkeeper at Sears, Kansas City, J.C. Penney, Carthage, and Montgomery Ward, Joplin.
She was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church, Joplin.
She was an assistant teacher of the Golden Rule Sunday class, Joplin.
She married Orville Nichols on April 20, 1946, at Yuma, Ariz.
He died on June 23, 1993.
Survivors include two sons, Frank Nichols, Joplin, and Robert Hensley, Carthage; a daughter, Vicki Kramer, Joplin; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary, Joplin, with the Rev. Emerson Swope officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Webb City.
Pallbearers will be Garry Haralson, Fred Douffet, Dave Efird, Rick Stauffer, Norman Barr and Mark Jorris.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
Contributions may be made to the Forest Park Baptist Mission Trip.
Yvonne Reither
Yvonne "Bunny" Ruby Fahey Reither, 84, Eugene, Ore., a former Joplin resident, died Monday, Feb. 3, 1997, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eugene, after an apparent stroke.
Mrs. Reither was born May 6, 1912 in Joplin.
She married Emil A. Reither in 1949 and lived in Aitkin, Minn., and Minneapolis, Minn., until the couple divorced in 1958.
She then lived in Chicago, Joplin, Albuquerque, N.M., and Fort Smith, Ark.
She moved to Eugene in 1993 to live near her stepdaughter.
She is survived by her stepdaughter, Alice Jean Kurzhal, Eugene, Ore., and three stepsons, Donnell T. Reither, Westerville, Ohio, James A. Reither, Inverness, Fla., and Kenneth M. Reither, Kingwood, Texas.
At Mrs. Reither's request, her body was donated to medical science.
Arrangements were made by Portland Funeral Alternatives, Portland, Ore.
Memorial services are planned for a later date.
