Elizabeth L. Bissett
Elizabeth Lenox Bissett, 91, of Rolla, passed away Monday, April 16, 2001, at Austin, Texas.
She was born June 15, 1909, at Lake Spring to Kennard M. Lenox and Margaret Etta (Cravens) Lenox.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald J. Bissett, brother Ike Lenox and sister Mary McKinley.
Mrs. Bissett is survived by a son Donald Bissett, of Wiberly, Texas, three daughters, Mary Ann Stafford, of Austin, Lynette L. Wells, of Jackson, and Carol E. Aulbach, of Fairland, Texas; sister Madge Clemmons, of Harrisburg, Illinois, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001, at St. Patrick Church under the direction of Kordes Funeral Home with Father I. Medina officiating.
Burial will follow at the Lake Spring Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America.

Opal Grace Fore
Opal Grace Fore, daughter of Jess McGown and Effie Huskey McCown, passed from this life Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at the age of 93.
She was born Feb. 1, 1908 in Phelps County.
Grace loved the outdoors, gardening and quilting were favorite pass times.
She married the late Finley Fore on Dec. 19, 1932.
Grace raised a family and taught school.
She is survived by a daughter, Marie McClanahan, of Rolla; son Bill Fore, of Rolla; daughter-in-law Shirley Fore, many grandchildren, nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, Terry Fore, four brothers, Jess, Bill, Charles and Paul McCown, three sisters, Sarah Adams, Emma Dunn and Gladys Brown.
Funeral services for Grace Opal Fore will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, 2001, at the Teague and Sons Funeral Home in Newburg.
Officiating the service will be pastor Gary Teague, of Rolla.
Burial will be at the Ozark Memorial Cemetery.

She was 56 years old.
She had suffered for 10 years with severe heart problems.
She had been fortunate to receive a heart transplant on April 6, 1999.
