Marion White
LAMAR, Mo. - Marion Ogden White, 83, Lamar, died at 8:45 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 1997, at Nevada Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
Mr. White was born Feb. 22, 1914, at Lamar. He attended Lamar schools, moving in 1928 to Idado to work as a farmhand growing potatoes and sugar beets. He served from 1943 to 1945 in the Army in Europe, where he was in the Battle of the Bulge. After his discharge from the Army, he returned to Twin Falls, Idaho, and then moved to Lamar, where he worked 21 years at Heims Hatchery. He also worked 18 years for O'Sullivan's Furniture, retiring at age 75. He was a member of Church of the Nazarene, Carthage.
He married Ethel Giger Bryant on June 16, 1952, at Bentonville, Ark. She survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Charles White, Parsons, Kan.; a stepson, Clifton Bryant, Webb City; a brother, Richard White, Twin Falls; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Beeny-Ferry Funeral Home, Sheldon. The Rev. Clifton Bryant will officiate. Burial will be in Oakton (Mo.) Cemetery.
Friends may call until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Euritha York
CARTHAGE, Mo. - Euritha Howrey York, 89, died at 12:10 a.m. Monday, March 10, 1997, at a Carthage nursing home after a long illness.
Mrs. York was born Oct. 27, 1907, in rural Jasper. She lived most of her life in Barton and Jasper counties. She was a homemaker and taught school in rural Jasper.
She married Earl York on Aug. 5, 1933, at Greenfield, Mo. He died April 1, 1976.
Survivors include a son, Edwin Rex York, Vallejo, Calif,; three daughters, Pat Ritchie, Carthage, Betty Lou Palmer, Wellington, Kan., and Loretta Hawkins, St. Joseph; a brother, E.W. "Cap" Howrey, Jasper; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Waters Cemetery, northwest of Jasper. Visitation will be today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Weng Funeral Home, Jasper.
Ollie Inscore
Ollie Frances Inscore, 87, Joplin, died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 1997, at a Joplin nursing home after an illness.
Mrs. Inscore was born Dec. 21, 1909, at Alma, Okla. She moved to Joplin in 1995. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Duncan, Okla.
She married Ben Thomas Inscore on Jan. 2, 1927, at Alma, Okla. He died Feb. 1, 1969.
Survivors include two sons, Ben Thomas Inscore Jr., Cornelius, Ore., and James L. Inscore, Joplin; a daughter, Nada Faye Washabaugh, Hillsboro, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Don Grantham Funeral Home, Duncan, Okla. Randy Southerland, minister, will officiate. Burial will be in Alma Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Alma Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
Paul Smith
Paul E. Smith, 76, 1822 Reinmiller Road, died at 7 a.m. Monday, March 10, 1997, at his home after a heart attack.
Mr. Smith was born Sept. 12, 1920, at Joplin. He lived in Joplin until moving to Warrenton, Mo., in 1974. He retired in 1987 as general manager of Warrenton Products, Warrenton. Previously he was employed 30 years as sales manager of Joplin's 7-up and Dr. Pepper plant. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was past president of Missouri Bottlers' Association. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a former member of Joplin Exchange Club and Joplin Jaycees.
He married Mildred Admire on June 1, 1941, at Joplin. She survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Mike Smith and Stan Smith, both of Joplin; two sisters, Loretta Tabb and Wanda Sutton, both of Joplin; a brother, Eugene Smith, Joplin; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Phillip McClendon will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
Contributions may be made to the baseball program at Missouri Southern State College, in care of the funeral home.
Delores Amos
MONETT, Mo. - Delores Jean Amos, 57, Tulsa, Okla., a Monett native, died at 10 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 1997, at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, after a short illness.
Ms. Amos was born June 28, 1939, at Monett. She moved in 1960 to Tulsa, where she was a Hillcrest Medical Center switchboard operator. She was a member of Red Fork Baptist Church, Tulsa.
Survivors include two daughters, Karla Amos and Denise Amos, both of Tulsa; her father, Eugene Keltner, Monett; and two brothers, Gary Keltner, Azle, Texas, and Jim Keltner, Tulsa.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at IOOF Cemetery, Monett.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett.
Wilma Bragg
STARK CITY, Mo. - Wilma Faye Bragg, 57, Stark City, was pronounced dead at 6:38 p.m. Sunday at her home. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
Mrs. Bragg was born Aug. 3, 1939, at San Jon, N.M. She moved to the Stark City area in 1971 from Gallup, N.M.
She was a dietitian and clerk at Cox Medical Center, Monett.
She was a member of Ritchey Baptist Church, Ritchey.
Survivors include two daughters, Vickie Guinn, Stella, and Sharon Perkins, Joplin; a son, Roy Bragg, Stark City; a brother, Tommy Gene Pointer, Russellville, Ark.; three sisters, Helen Patterson and Dorothy Shaw, both of Belen, N.M., and Devilla Gunter, Wheaton; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Clark Funeral Home, Granby. The Rev. Dennis Burge will officiate.Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Stella.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Dorthy Collins
PARIS SPRINGS, Mo. - Dorthy Collins, 85, Paris Springs, died at 11:05 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 1997, at a Springfield nursing home after a long illness.
Mrs. Collins was born Dec. 27, 1911, at Aurora. She was a homemaker. She attended the Paris Springs Methodist Church.
She married George Collins in October 1927 at Mount Vernon. He died April 19, 1984.
Survivors include six daughters, Mary Morris and Millie Funk, both of Kansas City, Retha Ethridge, Springfield, Goldie Keenan, Marshfield, Dorothy Eutsler, Ash Grove, and Ann Hatch, Republic; a brother, Arthur Gardner, Strafford; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, Miller. The Rev. Jim Downing will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, north of Bois D' Arc.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
