Louise Alexander
MOUNT VERNON, Mo. - Mary Louise Alexander, 88, Mount Vernon, died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, March 24, 1997, at the Missouri Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.
Mrs. Alexander was born Jan. 28, 1909, at Pierce City.
She was a homemaker.
She was a longtime member of L&C; Extension Club of Mount Vernon.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Mount Vernon.
She married Ewell C. Alexander on Sept. 27, 1931.
He died Sept. 11, 1981.
Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Moore and Glenda Caylor, both of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Gary Gilmore will officiate.
Burial will be in Miller Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home.
Contributions may be made to the building fund at First Baptist Church.
Eloise Bittner
NEVADA, Mo. - Eloise Eva Bittner, 88, Nevada, died Monday, March 24, 1997, at her daughter's home in Nevada after a long illness.
Mrs. Bittner was born July 5, 1908, at Gray, Okla.
She owned and operated Eatwell Cafe in Nevada for five years.
She also worked as a cook for several local restaurants.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Nevada.
She married Clarence C. Bittner on Nov. 10, 1926 at Capron, Okla. He died Jan. 2, 1976.
Survivors include two daughters, Noreta Pearl Kemper and Linda Joyce LaDue, both of Nevada; two brothers, C.A. Vincent, Glendora, Calif., and Frank Vincent, Caney, Kan.; a sister, Olive Rist, Oklahoma City, Okla.; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
John Nichols and Melvin Mabra, minister, will officiate.
Burial will be in Moore Cemetery, Nevada.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Corky Earnst
CARTHAGE, Mo. - Cora B. "Corky" Earnst, 71, 2140 Pearl St., died at 3:15 p.m. Monday, March 24, 1997, at her home after a short illness.
Mrs. Earnst was born Aug. 9, 1925, in Carthage.
She was a lifetime Carthage area resident.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church, Carthage.
She married Charles Edwin Earnst on Nov. 22, 1944, at Girard, Kan. He survives.
Other survivors include a sister, Louise Barton, Carthage.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Christian Church. Mike Hughes and Bob Lyttle, ministers, will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Carthage.

Lloyd Grey
MONETT, Mo. - Henry Lloyd Grey, 85, 1102 Sycamore, died at 4:20 p.m. Monday, March 24, 1997, at a Monett nursing center after a short illness.
Mr. Grey was born May 9, 1911, at Butterfield.
He had been a Monett area resident most of his life.
He was an engineer for Frisco Railroad Co. and retired in 1975.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Monett.
He married Maurine Russell on June 17, 1934, at Monett. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Gordon Grey, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Roger Grey, Louisville, Texas; a sister, Bea Abernathy, Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
The Rev. Grady Cockerham will officiate.
Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Monett.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Leta Morgan
MOUNT VERNON, Mo. - Leta Charlotte Morgan, 75, Russellville, Ark., formerly of Mount Vernon, died at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 1997, at St. Mary's Regional Health Care Center, Russellville, after a short illness.
Mrs. Morgan was born Sept. 27, 1921, in Mount Vernon.
She had lived in the Mount Vernon area until six years ago, when she moved to Russellville. She was a bookkeeper.
She married Melvin Ray Morgan on March 6, 1946, at Columbus, Kan. He survives.
Other survivors include a brother, William "Skinny" Cornell, Verona, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, Miller.
The Rev. George Bohn will officiate.
Burial will be in Miller Memorial Gardens Cemetery, south of Miller.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday.

STARK CITY, Mo. - Services for Dale Saville, 78, Stark City, who died Monday, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.

Blanche Weber
AURORA, Mo. - Blanche Weber, 80, Aurora, died at 2:23 p.m. Monday, March 24, 1997, at her home after an illness.
Mrs. Weber was born Aug. 6, 1916, in St. Louis.
She was a retired factory worker for Melmac Dinnerware.
She married Vernon Weber on June 22, 1957, in Normandy. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Charles Morris, St. Charles; three daughters, Patricia Aly, St. Louis, Myrna Taylor, Jasper, Texas, and Kathleen Bailey, Aurora; a brother, Ralph Madeker, Dadeville; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home.
The Rev. Ben Merald will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery.
