Gerald Honse, 62, of Vienna, Mo., died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at his residence.

Glen W. Brown
Glen W. Brown was born on Oct. 3, 1924, in Flat, Mo., to the late Issac T. and Cynthia E. (Baker) Brown, and passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2004, at the age of 79 years.

Pearl Augusta Wilson
Pearl Augusta (Jones) Wilson was born July 25, 1916 in St. Louis, Mo.
She was the daughter of John Reams Louis Jones and Virginia Augusta (Black) Jones.
Pearl was married to Daniel Wilson on Jan. 6, 1934, and to this union, three children were born, Helen June (Wilson) Mathis born July 28, 1937; Daniel Leon Wilson born Oct. 9, 1943, and Sharon Kay (Wilson) Harris born Aug. 2, 1946.
She is survived by two children, Helen June Mathis and husband Bob of Edgar Springs, and Sharon Kay Harris and husband Jerald, of Edgar Springs; a brother Ezra Jones and wife Vernice, of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren, Bobby Mathis and wife Evelyn, of Edgar Springs, Keith Mathis and wife Patti, of Edgar Springs, Len Mathis and wife Cheryl of Edgar Springs, Kevin Mathis and wife Avery of Edgar Springs, Pam Dye and husband Ralph of Edgar Springs, Marla Smith and husband Dave, of Rolla; Darla Heavin and husband Dave, of Rolla, Brian Mathis, of Edgar Springs, Tina (Harris) DeShurley and husband Terry, of Rolla, and Stacy Harris and wife Lisa, of Edgar Springs; 21 great-grandchildren, Bobbie Jo Mathis, Ethan Mathis, Julie Case and husband Mark, Dusty Mathis, Tyler Mathis, Charissa Mathis, Alecia Mathis, Brittany Mathis, Andy Smith, Ryan Smith, Mariah McCurdy, Maranda McCurdy, MaKayla McCurdy, Jayce Mathis, Parker Mathis, Kendra Harris, Justin Harris, Brandi Harris, Kisha Strain, Trevor DeShurley and Tucker DeShurley; two great-great-grandchildren, Nate Case and Riley Case, and several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Paul "Sax" Woodrow Forester
Born January 28, 1945 to Rosie and Amos Forester in Newburg, Mo., Paul "Sax" Woodrow Forester passed away on June 6, 2004 at the age of 59 years in Springfield, Mo.
He attended church at the Fellowship Christian Church in Rolla and was baptized there in 1992.
He enjoyed year work, fishing, and site seeing.

Dorothy Francis Denison
Dorothy Francis Denison, of St. James, Missouri, passed away on June 7, 2004 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
She was 84 years of age.

Richard Spencer Bagwell
Richard Spencer Bagwell, formerly of St. James, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at the DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia; he was 79 years of age.

Ella Frances Poe
Ella Frances Poe, of Rolla, passed away Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at the Westvue Nursing Home in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 100.

Rodney C. Lewis
Rodney Charles Lewis, of Rolla, passed away Wednesday, Aug.18, 2004, at the age of 57.

Lenna Karr
Lenna Karr, of Rolla, passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004, at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center at the age of 86.

Genevieve Vaughn
Genevieve Vaughn, 79, of Rolla, formerly of Vienna, died Aug. 18, 2004, in the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla.

Jack M. Scrivner
Jack Mason Scrivner was born on Feb. 17, 1929, in Jefferson City, Mo., and died on Aug. 18, 2004, at Rolla Manor Care Center after a brief illness.

Charles Allen Sooter
Charles Allen Sooter passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri.
He was 81 years of age.
Charles, the son of the late Menzo and Georgia Brooks Burnett Sooter, was born Dec. 24, 1921, at Eldon.
He was united in marriage to Clara Lou Collier on April 10, 1954 at Belle.
To this union, one daughter was born.
Charles was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
His family was his pride and joy.
He was elated upon the birth of his first grandson, Charleton Wuest Prewett.
He had several occupations throughout his working years, but helping care for Charleton and being Grandpa were the most fulfilling honors.
Charlie leaves us with a legacy of his service to his country and his community.
He proudly served in the Marine Corp for 13 years during World War II and the Korean War.
After leaving the military, he started his career as a barber in 1953.
Having barbered in St. Louis for 28 years and 22 years in St. James.
He built many friendships and entertained his friends with hunting stories and jokes in his 51 years of service to his community.
He especially loved to share stories from his fishing trips to Canada.
He also served the people of St. James as their councilman.
He was a member of the St. James Christian Church where he served as trustee.
He enjoyed singing and playing the guitar in churches in communities all around Phelps and Maries counties since his childhood.
He was a member of Valley of Orient Scottish Rite and a member of the St. James Masonic Lodge 230 AF & AM.
Charlie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Charlie is survived by his wife of the home: Clara Lou Collier Sooter of St. James, Missouri; one daughter: Barbie Prewett and husband Jerry of St. James, Missouri; one grandson Charleton Wuest Prewett of St. James, Missouri; one brother: Will Sooter of Carlsbad, Califiornia, two sister: Sylvia Milk of St. James, Missouri and Joyce Steele of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents; Menzo and Georgia Burnett Sooter; three brothers: Edward, Dorsie, and Paul Sooter; four sisters: Eilen Sooter; Mildred Odom; Betty Laster; and Billie Doak.
Visitation will be from 4-9 pm Tuesday, December 2, 2003, at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 3, 2003, at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Brother Dave Menge, Butch Tucker, David Birch, and Claudine Nielson speakers.
Pallbearers will be: Robert Sooter, Dean Sooter, Diz Carter, Ward Sooter, Dave Conger, John Smallwood and George Trumbull.
Burial with full military honors will be in the family plot in the St. James Cemetery.
Memorials maybe made to the Salvation Army.
All arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James.

Frederick L. Moffitt
Frederick L. Moffitt, 87, of Salem, died Nov. 30, 2003.
Arrangements are under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary in Salem.

Larry R. Baker
Larry R. Baker, 67, of Hazelwood, formerly of Rolla, died Nov. 29, 2003.
Arrangements are under the direction of Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.

Roy F. Brown
Roy Fr. Brown, 81, of Rolla, died Nov. 9, 2003.
Arrangements are under the direction of Null and Son Funeral Home Rolla.

Crystal B. Bergman
Crystal B. Bergman, 82, of Washington and formerly of Salem, died Aug. 2, 2004.
Arrangements are under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary in Salem.

Clifford L. Stumpf
Clifford L. Stumpf, 83, of St. James, died on Sunday, October 20, 2002.
All arrangements are under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary of St. James.

Mae Henry Feeler
Mae Nancy Feeler passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at the age of 85.
She was born to the late Huey Thomas and Nancy Agnes (Maxwell) Spencer on March 13, 1918 and raised in Phelps County.
She later moved to St. Louis and the lived 56 years in Valley Park.
On December 24, 1938 she married Earnest Eugene Feeler who preceded her in death on June 26, 1993.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Lorn and Johnny Spencer, and one sister, Mary Kraft.
She will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes two sons, Omar Feeler, of St. Louis, and Delmar Feeler, of Odessa; one daughter, Wilma Wondell, of Valley Park; a brother, Earl Spencer, of Rolla; two sisters, Lockie Love, of Vichy, and Rosene Jackson, of Peoria, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Renee, Lynn, Eric, Leesha, Craig, Brad, Gene, Kelly and Joe; 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way and four step great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mae Feeler will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2003 at the Null and Son Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Upper Davis-Spencer Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. this evening (Friday, June 27) at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Upper Davis-Spencer perpetual care fund.
All arrangements are under the direction of the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.

Byron Joseph "Barney" Cadle
Byron Joseph Cadle, 80, was born on Nov. 4, 1922 to Henry and Viola (Cole) Cadle at Kennett, Mo.
He went home to be with our Lord on March 29, 2003 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Irene (Holland) Cadle, his parents, Henry and Viola Cadle; three brothers, Raymond, Robert, and Jessie Cadle, and eight sisters, Ollie Mae Cadle, Louise Hagler, Effie (Eva) Campbell, Maggie (Peggy) Lyles, Mary Thompson, Mattie Psalmond, Annie Psalmond, and Nettie Thompson; one son-in-law, William Lloyd (Bill) White; one grandson, Robert Dean (Bobby) White, and one great-grandson, Samuel Lloyd Campbell.
Barney is survived by his children, Bonnie and Bud Berry, of Sterling Heights, Mich.; Benita and Gary Cavaness, of Robertsville, Mo,; Joe and Patti Cadle, of Licking; Jean and Richard Grover, of Licking, and Brenda and Kevin McGowen, of Houston, Mo.
He is survived by one sister, Helen and husband Bruce Stephenson, of Kalamazoo, Mich.
Also, sisters-in-law, Josephine Cadle, Goldie King, Beulah Floyd and Cledith Hubbs.
He was a loving grandfather to thirteen grandchildren who were the pride and joy of his life; Anita Long, Beverly Campbell, Chris White, Byron Grover, Diane Davis, Debbie Powell, Scott Robertson, Imalea Brant, Shannon Krainz, Bradley Robertson, Amy Miller, Andrew Robertson and Megan McGowen.
Also to fifteen grandchildren; Justin, Clayton and Tyler Long; Suzanna, Stephanie, Sarah, Sabrina and Sofia Campbell; Joy and Spencer Grover; Blaine and Dillon Davis; Kierra and Emily Robertson, and Danyelle Powell.
Barney moved to the Licking area in 1932.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy Seabees and was station in the American Samoan Islands.
Following his service in the military, he farmed the family farm east of Licking, and later owned a service station in Licking.
He established a local heating and air conditioning business in Licking and worked at Fort Leonard Wood as a HVAC specialist until his retirement from civil service work in 1978.
Barney accepted Christ as his savior in 1983 and joined Montauk Baptist Church.
He was a faithful servant of Christ who read his Bible daily and shared his faith through his compassion and generosity to others in need.
His door was always open to family and friends, as well as to strangers who happened to pass along his way.
He loved to help others and opened his ship and equipment to neighbors and area farmers to help them in any way he could.
All who knew him will remember his jokes, stories and songs that entertained both children and adults alike.
Barney was a very loving husband, father and grandfather who left his family legacy in Christ.
He will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at Fox Chapel with the Reverend Steve Floyd and the Reverend Brock Davis officiating. Pallbearers will be: Scott Robertson, Bradley Robertson, Andrew Robertson, Chris White, Byron Grover and Joe Cadle.
Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers-in-law; Marshall Hagler, Bruce Stephenson, Dean Hubbs, Lenza King, and good friends Melvin Dixon and Henry Hogan.
Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home of Licking.
