Leanne Noakes
Leanne Noakes, of Rolla, passed away in her home on Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at the age of 48.
She was born in Frankfort, Germany on January 14, 1954 to Ray W. and Jeanette F. (Aaron) Noakes.
Her father preceded her in death.
Leanne will be greatly missed by her surviving family which includes her son, Grady Sams, of Rolla; her mother, Jeanette Noakes, of Rolla; two brothers, Dale A. Noakes, of St. Louis, and Ronn H. Noakes, of Rolla; two sisters, Brenda Rae Noakes, of Rolla, and Susan G. Noakes, of Springfield; one granddaughter, Shelby Adams Sams; five stepchildren, Omar Garcia, Kelly Garcia, Megan Garcia, Chloe Garcia, and Solly Garcia; other extended family members and dear friends.
Funeral services for Leanne Noakes will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 20, 2002 at the Null and Son Funeral Home, with the Reverend Leroy Nixon officiating.
Interment will follow the service in Ozark Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service Friday, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Simon Muchnick
Simon Muchnick died on July 6, 2004 at the age of 86. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 18, 1918 to Saul and Rebecca Muchnick.
Mr. Muchnick graduated from Soldan High School on January 1935 and served in the Army-Air Corps during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, and the Presidential Unit Citation.
While in the service, he survived the sinking of HMT Rhona in November 1943.
He married Esther Figus Muchnick on August 23, 1948.
Mr. and Mrs. Muchnick owned and operated State Auto Insurance Agency in St. Louis for many years.
