Mary Clair Theresa Dunham
Mary Clair Theresa Dunham, 91, Racine, MO, passed away at 9:30 AM, February 16, 2004 at her home after an illness.
Mrs. Dunham was born August 15, 1912 in Stuart, Iowa the daughter of Charles M. and Anna Claire Conch. She received a radiology certificate and worked as a tech in 1950. In 1958 she received a Bachelor of Science degree and taught for three years in Evansville, Indiana. Mrs. Dunham was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Seneca, MO. and St. Mary’s Rosary Group.
Mary married Henry Howard Dunham at Princeton, MO. in 1954 and he preceded her in death April 28, 1999.
Survivors include a host of friends and extended family.
Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 11:30 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2004 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Seneca with Rev. Marek Bozek officiating. Burial will be in the Buzzard Cemetery in Racine MO. LeeRoy Rice, Herb Schmidt, David Frye, Fred Gates, Bob Rader and David Van Winkle will serve as pallbearers.
The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home with visitation following. Memorial contribution can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Trinity Hospice in care of the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, PO Box 380 Seneca, Missouri 64865.
Kathy "Friend" Snider
Kathy “Friend” Snider, 49, Wyandotte, OK, died at 2:01 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2004 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin after a illness.
Kathy was born November 22, 1954 in Noel, MO, the daughter of Loren and Fern Friend. She lived in the Wyandotte area all of her life and was a dairy farmer and homemaker. Kathy was a member of Miller Flats Assembly of God Church, Wyandotte.
Kathy married Steve A. Snider February 21, 1987 in Wyandotte, OK and he survives.
Additional survivors include: two daughters; Kristen Renee Snider and Ashley Kay Snider both of the home. Her father and mother; Loren and Fern Friend, Wyandotte: her mother-in-law Barbara Snider, Neosho and her maternal grandmother; Ruth Price, Miami, OK.
Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 1, 2004 at Miller Flats Assembly of God Church, east of Wyandotte, with Bro. Jim Stuart and Bro. Robert Brodrick officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of Loren and Fern Friend; 68650 East Hwy 60 Wyandotte, OK.
Glen L. Fort
Glen L. Fort, Wyandotte, OK, 76, died at 12:14 PM, Friday, March 5, 2004 at Miami Baptist Hospital, after a short illness.
Glen was born February 6, 1928, in Aurora, MO, the son of James and Silvia Fort. He had lived in the Seneca and Wyandotte area most of his life. He was a Mason and a retired truck driver.
Survivors include two sons, Waylon Fort, El Dorado, KS, and Robert Fort, Wyandotte, OK; three daughters, Nancy Allen, El Dorado, KS, Cheryl Franklin, York, Nebraska, and Carol Myers, Carterville, MO; two brothers, George Fort, Seneca, MO, and Ben Fort, Joplin, MO; one sister; Sylvia Pritchard Keller, Seneca, MO; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Glen was preceded in death by one brother, Collins Fort, and one sister, June Hart.
Memorial Services will be held at Friends Church, Wyandotte, at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 8, 2004 with Steve Johnson officiating.
Lona A. Addington, 87, Seneca.
Lona was born March 30, 1916 in Newton County, MO the daughter of Samuel and Verna Bennett and had lived in the Seneca after retiring in 1975. She had worked in the Boeing Aircraft factory, in Wichita KS during WWII where she helped the war effort by assembling B-17 bombers. She was a homemaker, a member of the Seneca Church of Christ and VFW Post 163, Seneca, Ladies Auxiliary.
Lona married Alton E. Addington in Seneca, MO and he preceded her in death May 12, 1999.
Survivors include, two sons Larry Addington and wife Janet and Joey Addington and wife Jackie both of Joplin. One brother Paul Bennett, Joplin. Grandchildren Sarah and husband Jason Giebler, Josh and wife Kenya Addington, Rachel and husband Jason Bryan, Jared and wife Tara Addington; Great-grandchildren Victoria and Madelaine Giebler Cameron Addington Morgan and John Bryan
Lona was preceded in death by her infant brother Harold Bennett, and two sisters, Zella Bennett and Velma McGehee.
Funeral Services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2004 at the Seneca Church of Christ will Harold Reaves, minister officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery, West of Neosho with Jason Bryan, Jason Giebler, Josh Addington, Jared Addington, Doug Douthitt and Bill Steele serving as pallbearers.

Ronald A. Hall
Ronald A. Hall, 65, Seneca, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 14, 2004, at 9:05 PM in his home after an illness.
Ron was born February 13, 1939 in Joplin, MO, the son of Alvin and Anna Belle Hall. He lived in the Seneca area where he and his wife, Virginia, owned and operated Virginia ’s Family Restaurant.
Ron was a charter member of the Seneca Freedom Festival Committee and was a member of the Seneca Christian Church. He was actively involved in many community organizations.
Ron married Virginia on December 26, 1985 in Bentonville, AR, and she survives.
Additional survivors include four sons, Derek Hall, of the home, Michael Hall, Redings Mill, Stephen Hall, Webb City, and Christopher Hall, State of Utah; one daughter, Christy Hall, Carthage; his mother, Anna Belle Hall, Webb City; two step-sons, Gary Oxford, Redings Mill and Darin Oxford, Seneca; one sister, Colleen Moran, Webb City; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Hall, and one sister, Phyllis Hall.
Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at the Oronogo Cemetery, Oronogo, MO with Truman Brady officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Grace R. Smith
Grace R. Smith, 95, Seneca, passed away at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, Tuesday March, 16, 2004 at 4:30 PM after an illness.
Grace was born September 25, 1908 the daughter of John and Geneva Kidwell, in Ottawa County, OK. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. Grace was a member of First Baptist Church, Seneca, Sunshine Club and North 7 Community.
Grace married Luther Francis Smith, December 22, 1928 and he preceded her in death August 5, 1980.
Survivors include two sons, Bill M. Smith and wife Edna, Grandview, MO and Bob D. Smith and wife Joyce, Harrisonville, MO; three daughters, Vera L. Turner and husband Fred, Seneca, Ruth A. Mailes and husband Gary, Bella Vista, AR and Pat J. Jacobs and husband Leon, Grove, OK; one brother Johnny J. Kidwell, Tulsa, OK; one sister, Edyth Watts, Seneca, MO; twelve grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Grace was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Jim and Jack Kidwell.
Funeral Services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Seneca with Rev. Todd Decker officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Mailes, Doug Fowler, Dan Fowler, Steve Smith, Jason Cole and Joshua Leon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Leon, Jed Leon, Jordan Loudermilk, Ryan Loudermilk, Jeremy Smith, George Rollins and Scott Jacobs.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, March 22, 2004 at the funeral home. Friends may view after 9:00 AM Saturday.

Pearl M. Jewell
Pearl M. Jewell, 73, Grove, Oklahoma, died at her home, Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 1:30 PM after an illness. Pearl was born September 17, 1930 in Mendota IL, the daughter of James and Mary Parker. She was a retired waitress and a homemaker. She married Charles L. Jewell, Sr., June 1, 1953 in Utica, IL and he survives. Additional survivors include, three sons, Charles L. Jewell and wife Renate, Joplin, Mo, Gregory A. Jewell and Carol, Grove, OK and Jeffrey O. Jewell and Connie, Oakhurst, OK; one daughter, Cindy P. John and husband Ken, Sapulpa, OK; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Pearl was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. The body has been taken for cremation, memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2004 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home Chapel, Seneca, MO, with Rev. Richard King and wife Sister Lynn King.
Clifford H. Ackerson
Clifford H. Ackerson, 80, Seneca, passed away, at 7:30 AM, Friday, March 19, 2004 at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, Joplin after an illness.
Clifford was born April 6, 1923 in Seneca, MO, the son of Charles and Goldie Ackerson. He lived in Seneca all of his life. He formerly owned and operated school busses for the Seneca School System and was a member of the Seneca Church of Christ. Clifford was an Army Veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Clifford married Kathy Cox December 11, 1964 in Seneca, MO, and she survives.
Additional survivors include, two sons, Rocky Ackerson, Wyandotte and Barry Boman, Seneca, MO; two daughters Deana Jackson, Jay, OK and Jana Thomas, Joplin, MO; one brother Calvin Ackerson, Seneca, MO; one sister, Genevieve Rogers, Seneca, MO; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 22, 2004 at the Seneca Church of Christ with Bob Hampton officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Church of Christ Cemetery, South of Seneca. Pallbearers will be Barry Boman, Bryan Boman, Danny Thomas, Bob Butterfield, Gale Webb and Don Ackerson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rocky Ackerson, Leonard Stelts, Charles Holt and Ron Bennett. Military gravesite rites will be conducted by American Legion Post 163, Neosho.
Gary Dale Ball
Gary Dale Ball, 57, Wyandotte, OK, died at 1:40 PM, Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Fayetteville, AR after an illness.
Gary was born February 21, 1947, at Miami, OK, the son of Ashley D. and Helen V. Ball. He was a Vietnam Veteran, a member of the Elks Lodge, Galena, KS and a member of the VFW in Baxter Springs, KS. He was a backhoe operator.
Survivors include three sons; Gary Ball II, Wyandotte, OK, Tommy Ball, Tulsa, OK, Larry Williams, Columbus, KS; one daughter, Michelle Reeves, Springdale, AR; His mother Helen Ball, Seneca; four brothers, Edwin Ball, Peoria, OK, Marvin Ball, Alma AR, Terry Ball and Randy Ball of Wyandotte; one sister, Pamela Hembree, Seneca; 11 grandchildren, Michael, Mathew, Braden, Preston, Joseph, Kelsey, Cortney, Bailey, Alyssa, Joshua and Brianna. He was preceded in death by his father.
Graveside services, under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, at the Seneca Cemetery. Harold Reaves minister will officiate. Military Rites will be conducted by the National Guard Funeral Detail of Joplin.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday at the funeral Home.
