Funeral service for Thomas Watson will be at 11 a.m., July 30, 2005 at Liberty Baptist Church in Turtle. Arrangements are under the direction of James and Gahr Mortuary.
Interment will be in Boss Cemetery.
Mr. Watson died July 26, 2005 at the age of 24 years.
Survivors include his mother, Jacque Watson, Rolla; one brother, Justin Watson; one sister, Ashley Watson, both of Vernon, Ill.; grandparents, John and Lynda Watson, Salem.
Mr. Watson will lie in state from 6 to 8 p.m., July 29, 2005 at James and Gahr Mortuary.
Laura Mae Cotner King
Funeral service for Laura Mae Cotner King will be at 3 p.m., July 30, 2005 at James and Gahr Mortuary in Salem.
Interment will be in Cotner Cemetery in Salem.
Mrs. King died July 27, 2005 at the age of 91 years.
Survivors include three sons, George Cotner and wife, Lelia, Salem; John Cotner and wife, Carol, Desoto; J.B. King and wife, Cheryl, Waynesville; one daughter, Judy Apperson and husband, Bud, Salem; sister-in-law, Peggy Maledy, Salem; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
Mrs. King will lie in state from 6 to 8 p.m., July 29, 2005 at James and Gahr Mortuary.
Grace I. Wyatt
Funeral service for Grace I. Wyatt will be at 1:30 p.m., July 29, 2005 at James and Gahr Mortuary in Salem.
Interment will be in Bunker Cemetery.
Mrs. Wyatt died July 26, 2005 at the age of 84 years.
Survivors include four sons, Jams Wyatt and wife, Juanita; Dwight Wyatt and wife, Frances; Larry Wyatt and wife, Jane; one daughter, Joyce Koller and wife, Mike; 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters, Ralph, Nellie, John, Polly, Billy Jr. and Oren, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wyatt will lie in state from 4 to 9 p.m., today (Thurs.) at Hoffmeister Funeral Chapel in St. Louis.
Gayle Lynn (Quiggins) Stewart
Private family services for Gayle Lynn Stewart, Reedsburg and formerly of Salem, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Farber Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stewart was born December 20, 1947 in Aurora, Ill., to William Stuart and Helen Joan (Wagner) Quiggins. She died October 14, 2005 in Madison at the age of 57.
Survivors include her daughter, Kelly Stanley and husband, John, Loganville; and son, Jason Dallman and wife, Jane, Loganville; grandchildren, Jacob and Travis Stanley, Loganville; mother, Helen Quiggins, Reedsburg; former husband, David Dallman and wife, Marge, Loganville; numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death was her father.
Mrs. Stewart enjoyed raising and riding horses.
Memorials made be made in lieu of flowers to the American Kidney Foundation.
Barbara Sue Jarvis
Funeral service for Barbara Sue Jarvis was October 16, 2005 at Dent County Memorial Chapel, Salem, with Wayne Poole officiating.
Music was provided by Richie Key, Kenneth and Betty Thompson along with a special taped selection. Special memories were shared by some of her children.
Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Eric Thompson, Ken Drewes, William S. Drewes III, Phillip Jarvis, Jimmy Brakefield, and Josh Cox. Honorary pallbearers were Adam Kelly and Anthony Miller.
Mrs. Jarvis was born August 15, 1963 at Noble, Ark. to Kenneth and Freda (Copeland) Thompson. She married Frank Jarvis Jr. July 4, 2004. She was the mother of five children. Mrs. Jarvis died October 13, 2005 in Salem at the age of 42 years, one month and 27 days.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Jarvis Jr., Salem; four children, Eric Thompson and fiancee, Jennifer Cox, Salem; Bill Drewes and fiancee, Angela Martin, St. Louis; Ken Drewes and fiancee, Mandy Messmer, Troy; and Brandi Jarvis, Salem; two sisters, Mary Smith and husband, Dennis, Senath; and Angie Cox, Branson; two brothers-in-law, Phillip Jarvis and David Jarvis, both of Senath; two sisters-in-law, Berniece Brakefield and Cindy Atkinson; ten grandchildren, Cory and Nikole Cox, Salem; Ashley Noble, Salem; Maria Messmer, Troy; Jeremy Pilkington, Salem; Daniel Martin, St. Louis; Alyssa Drewes, Lake St. Louis; Earl Jarvis Jr., Salem; Tyler Jarvis, Salem; and Izabel Drewes, Troy; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends George and Pat Hanson.
Preceding her in death were her mother; one brother, Timothy Lillard; and one son, Frankie Drewes.
Mrs. Jarvis loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed Nascar racing and Mickey Mouse.
Mary B. Wright
Funeral service for Mary B. Wright was October 13, 2005 at James & Gahr Chapel, Salem, with Brother Bill Anderson officiating.
Interment was in Snowdenville Cemetery, Fredericktown.
Mrs. Wright was born June 17, 1948 in St. Louis to Bill Riley and Murlene (Pepper) Riley. She died October 10, 2005 in Salem at the age of 57 years.
Survivors include husband, Kenneth Wright; children, Steven Wright, Salem; Shelly Carrico and husband, Larry, Jefferson City; Sean Wright, Salem; Bobby Wayne Hall, St. Peters; and Eddie Lee Wright, Florissant; brother, Bill Riley Jr. and wife, Twyla, Salem; sisters, Norma Harris and husband, Bob, Vida; Diane Garrett and husband, David, Lake Springs; Linda Wilcox and husband, Charlie, Rolla; Kathy Riley Williams and husband, Tommy, Jefferson City; grandchildren, Austin, Riley, Madison, Maria, Shannon and Jamie Carrico and Ashley Cooksey; and great-grandchildren, Dalton Cooksey and Taylor Norris.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Linda Lea St. John
Funeral service for Linda Lea St. John will be at 1 p.m. November 2, 2005 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem.
Interment will be private at a later date.
Mrs. St. John died October 29, 2005 in Columbia at the age of 57 years.
Survivors include her husband, John E. St. John, Salem; her parents, Jim and Maxine Kurtright, Salem; one son Shannon St. John and wife, Tracey, O’Fallon; one daughter, Joey Crossgrove and husband, Roger, Salem; and one granddaughter, Madison Grace Knight, Salem.
Mrs. St. John will lie in state 6 to 8 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Wilson Mortuary Chapel.
