Funeral service for James “Jimmy” Lee Miskell will be at 1 p.m. February 5, 2007 at Dent County Memorial Chapel, Salem.
Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
Mr. Miskell died February 2, 2007 at the age of 67 years.
Survivors include wife, Betty Miskell, Salem; children, Tammy Bellah, Salem; James Miskell Jr., Salem; Susan Lowe and husband, Scott, Salem; sisters, Lorraine Wright, New Mexico state; and Anne Roberts, New Madrid; grandchildren, Michael Bellah, Georgia state; Robert Bellah, Rolla; Joseph Bellah, Salem; Tanya LeBelle, Ft. Leonard Wood; Brady and Amber Lowe, both of Salem; eight grandchildren; 13 half siblings.
Mr. Miskell will lie in state 11 a.m. until time of service February 5, 2007 at Dent County Memorial Chapel.
Lloyd Roberts
Funeral service for Lloyd Roberts will be at 11 a.m. February 3, 2007 at Dent County Memorial Chapel, Salem.
Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
Mr. Roberts died January 30, 2007 at the age of 83 years.
Survivors include sons, Daniel L. Roberts, Ironton; and Timothy Clayton Roberts and Malinda, Steelville; brothers, Henry Roberts and wife, Dottie, Salem; and Wayne Roberts and wife, Mary Jo, Salem; sisters, Dorothea Brooks, Erin, Tenn.; Christina Klohr and husband, Dick, Manchester; and Shirley Whitmire and husband, Charles, Salem; granddaughter, Jodi Anne Roberts, LA, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Roberts will lie in state 5 to 8 p.m. February 2, 2007 at Dent County Memorial Chapel. Masonic Service at 7 p.m.

Bobby Smith Sr.
Funeral service for Bobby Smith Sr. of Salem will be at 10 a.m. February 2, 2007 at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair.
Interment will be in the Prospect Cemetery, Lonedell.
Mr. Smith died January 30, 2007 at the age of 76 years.

Mrs. Tighe died January 29, 2007 at the age of 31 years.

Myrtle Elva Cowan
Funeral service for Myrtle Elva Cowan was January 31, 2007 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Bro. Bobby Higgins officiating.

Interment was in the Carty Cemetery.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Stephen Bush, Rommel and Wellan Cowan, Anthony Perona, Gregg Durnbaugh, Brad Jadwin, Ross Dean, Brett Boulware and Jim Crain.
Mrs. Cowan was born October 31, 1915 at Hobson to Charles Sellers and Villa (Smith) Gibbs. She married James I. Cowan November 7, 1936. They were the parents of four children. Mrs. Cowan died January 29, 2007 in Salem at the age of 91 years.
Survivors include four children, Betty Durnbaugh and husband, Glenn, Edgar Springs; Jean Jadwin and husband, Bill, Salem; Jim Cowan, Salem; and Laura May Higgins and husband, Jerry, Rolla; ten grandchildren, Carla Bush and husband, Stephen; Rommel Cowan and wife, Renea; Wellan Cowan and wife, Christine; Andrea Cowan; Beth Perona and husband, Anthony; Gregg Durnbaugh and wife, Ellen; Brad Jadwin and wife, Lisa; Jill Dean and husband, Ross; Gina Boulware and husband, Brett; and Tammy Crain and husband, Jim; 19 great-grandchildren, Rachel and Amy Bush; Desiree, Nicholas and Tea’ Cowan; Jessica and Abby Perona; April Birdnow; Bridget, Gabrielle and Maia Durnbaugh; Savhanna and Isabella Jadwin; Jodie Dean; Brittany Davis and husband, Mark; and Lacey, Acelyn, Jacey and Kaylee Crain; two great-great-grandchildren, Blaine and Landon Davis; and one half sister, Dortha Sellers, Salem.

Cordelia Grace Thomason
Funeral service for Cordelia Grace Thomason was January 31, 2007 at Dent County Memorial Chapel, Salem, with Dwayne Cartwright officiating.

Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joseph Walter, Leroy Davis, Brock Davis, Tony Floyd, Jim Thomason and Wayne R. Thomason.
Mrs. Thomason was born June 12, 1913 in Joy to Nelson and Clara Mary (Murray) Thompson. She married William Jesse Thomason January 25, 1930. Mrs. Thomason died January 28, 2007 in Jefferson City at the age of 93 years, seven months and 16 days.
Survivors include three brothers, Warren Thompson, St. Louis; Lloyd Thompson, Lee’s Summit; and Wilbur Thompson, Phoenix, Ariz.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; three sisters, Velma Alexander; Effie Triplett; and Ethel Grosse; an infant sister, Rosie Thompson; and one brother, Everett Thompson.
Mrs. Thomason was baptized by Rev. Walter Jenkins in December 1933. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and the Montauk Homemakers Club.
Porter Lee Warden
Funeral service for Porter Lee Warden was January 25, 2007 at James & Gahr Mortuary, Salem, with Ken Fiebelman officiating.
Interment was in the Warden Cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Kaffer, Jeramie Kaffer, John L. Williams, Anthony Gorman, Stan Kaffer and Joan Dotson Stoner.
Mr. Warden was born March 8, 1922 in Salem to Leslie and Frankie Lee Warden. He married Mary Knapp August 5, 1962. Mr. Warden died January 20, 2007 in Salem at the age of 84 years, ten months and 12 days.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Warden, Salem; sister, Margaret Kaffer, Bushnell, Ill.; nieces, Sharon Mueller and husband, Robert, Cuba, Ill.; Nadine Walker, Fayette, Ill.; Lily Graham, Bushnell, Ill.; Lorene Williams and husband, John, Cuba, Ill.; and Jeri Gourley and friend, Dick, Peoria, Ill.; nephews, Bud Kaffer and wife, Linda, Bushnell, Ill.; and James Kaffer and wife, Pam, Salem; and extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Walter Warden; and sister, Dora Stagner.
