Rev. Thom Hugh Hunter of Glendale died Friday, July 15, 2005.
Rev. Hunter was born Aug. 28, 1918, in Johnstown, Penn. He graduated from Park College in 1942, and McCormick Theological Seminary in 1945. He was ordained to the ministry in December 1944.
Rev. Hunter served in the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps from 1944 to 1946, and as Presbyterian University Pastor at Cornell University, the University of Oregon and the University of Texas before becoming vice president at McCormick Seminary, his alma mater.
In 1962, he was awarded the doctor of divinity degree from Monmouth College, and the doctor of laws from Park College in 1966. In 1972, he moved to the St. Louis area to be associate pastor of Webster Groves Presbyterian Church, continuing there as pastor emeritus after his retirement in 1986.
Rev. Hunter is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth; daughters Jennifer Galovich (Thomas Sibley), and Hilary (Frosty) Cummings; son Hugh; granddaughters Alexandra Galovich (Douglas Park), Anna Galovich, and Jessica Cummings.

Sister Rose Michael Jbara, S.L. of Webster Groves died Monday, Nov. 14, 2005.
Sister Rose Michael Jbara was the sister of John J. Jbara and Katherine Muessner; aunt of many nieces and nephews; a member of the Sisters of Loretto.

Marlin E. Jepsen, a longtime resident of Kirkwood died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005.
Mr. Jepsen attended Kirkwood High School, Rankin Technical College and Washington University, and was a partner in Jepsen Electric Co.
He was the husband of Donna R. Jepsen (nee Myers); father of J. Scott, John F. (Nancy) and Jeffrey N. (Carol) Jepsen and Jenell Jepsen (Shaun) Welsh; grandfather of Christopher Jepsen, Amanda and Eric Bernhardt, Sara and Ryan Jepsen and Haley and Mason Welsh; brother of Emil F. Jepsen; uncle and friend to many.
Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 4 to 8 p.m., at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road in Kirkwood. Funeral services are Saturday, Nov. 12, 12:30 p.m., at Bethany Lutheran Church, 407 Fairview in Webster Groves. Interment, Forever Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Jepsen enjoyed an additional 17 full years following a heart transplant, and requested memorials be made to the Heart Transplant Association of St. Louis, P.O. Box 6115, Chesterfield, Mo. 63006-6115.
Marie Catherine Weingart Jones of Kirkwood died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005.
Born in 1918, Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Jones Sr. in 1973; by three brothers, Tony Weingart, John Weingart, and Carl "Red" Weingart; and by two sisters, Betty Shores and Edna Ware. She is survived by her sisters Elsie Biggs of St. Louis and Helen Sutterfield of Colorado.
She was the mother of Virginia (Kay) Kramer of Kirkwood and John Paul (Dena) Jones, Jr. of Fresno, Calif. She was the proud grandmother of Christopher (Linda) Wood; and the very proud great-grandmother of Courtney and Emma Wood. She was the aunt and great aunt of many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 7, 10 a.m., at Forever Oak Hill Funeral Home, 10301 Big Bend Road in Kirkwood, followed by interment at Lake Charles Cemetery. Mary D. Jones of Warson Woods died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005.
Mrs. Jones was the longtime chair of the Medical Missions Sisters Bridge Club, a former president of the St. Louis Chapter of the University of Kansas Alumni Association, and an active member of Ste. Genevieve DuBois Catholic Church.
She was the wife of the late Endsley Jones; mother of E. Terrence Jones (Lois Pierce) and the late Karen Brown Jones; grandmother of Shannon, Bart and Lance Brown, and Mark Jones; and great-grandmother of two.

Kathleen Mulligan Kane died suddenly on Friday, Nov. 4, while on a trip to Washington, D.C.
She was there celebrating the promotion to Rear Admiral of her nephew, Lee Metcalf, so was blessed to be with many family members at the time.
Mrs. Kane was an active member of the Webster Groves community for decades and was involved in several organizations, including the Missouri Questers, the Jefferson Township Women's Republican Club, the Green Garter Brigade, the Carlyle Sailing Association, and was chairman of the Webster University Alumni Golden Circle. She was also a docent at the Hawken House and a former president of the Catholic Women's College Club.
Mrs. Kane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Emmet Kane; her four children, Dr. Robert E. Kane, Kathy Kane, Sharon Cassani and Carole Fitzgerald; and her 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Kane exemplified the importance of family and friends. She was known by many, loved by all, and never knew a stranger.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 9:30 a.m., from Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, to Holy Redeemer Church, 341 E. Lockwood, for a 10 a.m. celebration Mass. Interment, Calvary Cemetery.
Helen Frances Kannapell (nee Williams) of Webster Groves died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005.
Mrs. Kannapell was the wife of the late Paul Kannapell; mother of Paul Kannapell Jr. of Manchester, Helen K. (William) Bates of Wildwood, and John T. (Jodi) Kannapell of Torrance, Calif.; grandmother of Kristy Kannapell and Ann and Sarah Bates.

Rena Keller (nee Dollar) of Kirkwood died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005.
Mrs. Keller was born June 20, 1908, in Bourbon, Mo. She grew up in Bourbon with her eight brothers and sisters, who all preceded her in death.
She married Floyd Keller on Oct. 29, 1927. They made their home in the Tower Grove neighborhood of St. Louis for much of their marriage, moving back to Bourbon after Mr. Keller's retirement from Union Electric. They later moved to Kirkwood, where Mrs. Keller lived until her last year.
Mrs. Keller was a longtime member of Tower Grove Baptist Church, where she enjoyed teaching a girls Sunday school class for many years. At the time of her death she was a member of Kirkwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed her many friendships, her church and her wide circle of nieces and nephews who enjoyed her stories of the family in the days gone by.
Mrs. Keller was the daughter of the late William James and Martha Lee (nee Andrews) Dollar; wife of the late Floyd Keller; mother of the late Mary Louise Keller; sister of the late Ehud Dollar, Shoteau Dollar, Otis Dollar, Roy Dollar, Della Mathews, Myrtle Lear, Edna Beals and Irene Cleary; aunt of Leslie Lindberg, Frieda Keeney, Virgie Keeney, Bonnie Brown, Maxine Clinton, Gerry Brown, Rena Stark, Tim Cleary, Roger Mathews and Kenneth Beals; great-aunt, great-great-aunt and friend to many.

James M. Kelly, a longtime resident of Rock Hill died Sunday, March 13, 2005. He was 41.
Mr. Kelly worked as a computer technician. He was the father of Phoenix Kelly; son of Ernestine Bolden; brother of Jerry Kelly; nephew and friend.
