Reta Deslile Lorenz (nee Renneberg), formerly of Webster Groves died Wednesday, June 15, 2005.
Mrs. Lorenz was the wife of the late Herbert A. Lorenz; mother of Judith (Robert) Green of Orange, Calif.; grandmother of Susan Leigh Zwygart and Frank W. (Bertha) Zwygart III; great-grandmother of Erin Elizabeth Zwygart; and friend.
Graveside services were held Thursday, June 16, at Pacific City Cemetery.

William Constantine Muckle of Kirkwood died Wednesday, June 15, 2005.
Mr. Muckle was an accountant. He was the husband of the late Isabelle "Dolly" Muckle; father of Eugene (Penny) Muckle, Beverly Mueller and Janet (Jack) Hurley; brother of Catherine (Gene) Gierer and the late Pauline, Gus, George, Carl, John and Fred; grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many.

Patricia A. Loyer (nee Boisseau) of Des Peres died Sunday, April 24, 2005.
Mrs. Loyer was the wife of Raymond C. Loyer; mother of Mary, Kathy, Ray Jr., Joe and David; grandmother of Lisa, Andrea, Matthew, Eliot, Josh, Hannah, Joseph, Anna and Lily; sister of Irene, Esther and Joe.

John Marshall Magner died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at home in Webster Groves surrounded by his family. He was 92 (see story, page 1).
Mr. Magner was the husband of the late Ernestine Thro Magner; father of Dr. Jay (Adrienne) Magner of Belleville, Ill., Charles (Susan) Magner of Villa Ridge, Mo., Robyn Magner (Joy Cole) of Hartsburg, Mo., and the late David and Tommy Magner; father-in-law of the late Corby Haumesser Magner; grandfather of Emma, Arielle, David, Elyse, Jared, Marley and Mackenzie; brother of the late Sue Lyon; brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 28, at 10 a.m., at the First Congregational Church of Webster Groves, 10 W. Lockwood Ave. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Dorothy B. "Dot" Maguire (nee Ban) of Oakland died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005.
Mrs. Maguire was a graduate of St. Pius V and Roosevelt High School, and enjoyed family, church, friends, neighbors, swimming, gardening and boating.
She was the wife of Robert B. Maguire for 54 1/2 years; mother of Clare Ann (Russ) Maguire-Wick, Julie (the late Tom) Jackson and Sally Maguire; grandmother of Christopher (Tara) and Amanda Jackson; sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, step-grandmother, neighbor and friend to many.

John Marecek of Crestwood, formerly of Webster Groves died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, of heart failure. He was 84.
Mr. Marecek lived in Webster Groves from 1955 to 1967, and then in Crestwood. He was a former vice-president of manufacturing at General Metal Products. He was born in St. Louis, and was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, later getting a night school business degree at Washington University. During World War II, he served from 1944-46 on the military transport, USS General Ernst.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Webster Gardens; managed little league baseball championship teams in the Webster Suburban Youth Boosters (SYB) League; and served as SYB president and chairman.
In 1961, he led the drive to allow light standards on the baseball fields at Memorial Park, and the fundraising drive for the lights. He was an accomplished poet, author of many and registered in the International Society of Poets. Mr. Marecek is survived by his wife, Mae; two daughters, Joan (Hummel) and Gale (Reed), and son Greg (Helen); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Martin (Gladys) and sister Anne Driska.

George Marlock Jr. of Kirkwood died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005. He was 83.
Mr. Marlock was born on March 22, 1921. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather, and he cared deeply about the welfare of others. He respected and enjoyed his friends, relatives and associates with the Knights of Columbus of St. Peter Church of Kirkwood, the Carpenter's Local #5, the VFW World War II Veterans, the men's discussion group at The Daily Bread in Des Peres, as well as many other longtime St. Louis residents and friends.
Mr. Marlock is survived by his wife, five children and many grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church in Kirkwood. Interment, Valhalla Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church, 243 W. Argonne, Kirkwood, Mo. 63122.
Dorothy Irene Marsh, formerly of Kirkwood died Sunday, May 29, 2005, in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was 85.
Ms. Marsh was the aunt of Jacqueline Rees of Scottsdale; great-aunt of Thomas Kowalski and Christine Peck; sister of the late Harold W. Marsh; sister-in-law of Vera Marsh.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 3, 11 a.m., at Forever Oak Hill Cemetery, 10305 Big Bend Blvd. in Kirkwood. There will be no visitation. Arrangements through Gerber Chapel.
Robert M. "Bob" Martin, of Kirkwood died Sunday, April 24, 2005.
Mr. Martin lived in Webster Groves for many years before moving to Kirkwood three years ago. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, where he received the Distinguished Flying Cross and a Purple Heart. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
Mr. Martin was the husband of Corinne (nee Samuelson); father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 28, at Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood. Interment, Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of one's choice.
Joseph L. Massaro, formerly of Rock Hill died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005.
Mr. Massaro was a World War II veteran and was retired after 25 years with Marquette Tool & Die. He was a volunteer with Project, Inc. for their sheltered workshop bowling league at Tropicana Lanes.
Mr. Massaro was the husband of Helen M. Massaro (nee Chiaurro) for 67 years; father and grandfather to their extended family of Gwen (Paul) Ueoka, Loni (Jeff) Martin and Lowell Muramoto; brother of Josie Imperale; and uncle to many.

Robert W. McComb of Webster Groves died Friday, Aug. 5, 2005. He was 75.
Mr. McComb was the husband of the late Cecelia Ruth (nee Shepard) McComb; father of Mary Katherine (Gregory Clark) McComb, Jennifer McComb, Paul Shepard (Mary Elizabeth Harper) McComb and John Brendan McComb; grandfather of Max, Maddy, Innis and Aesa McComb; brother of Clyde Lee, Gereld, Charles McComb, and Mary Joan Lewellyng; uncle, friend and neighbor.

June McCreery (nee Harris), formerly of Webster Groves died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, in Monroe, La.
Mrs. McCreery was born Jan. 17, 1919, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was raised in the Army, and lived in the Philippines and Panama, where she was married.
Mrs. McCreery graduated from Goucher College and was a member of Pi Beta Phi. She settled in Webster Groves to raise her children, where she was a member of The College Club and Trinity Episcopal Church. Later she moved to Bradenton, Fla., where she spent over 20 very happy years. She had recently relocated to Monroe, La.
Mrs. McCreery is survived by her five children, Karen M. (Robert) Wielde, Marie T. McCreery, Forbes R. (Bonnie) McCreery III, John T.H. (Kate) McCreery and Timothy A. (Paula) McCreery. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McCreery was preceded in death by her husband, Forbes R. McCreery Jr.; her parents, Ora Dell and John Thomas Harris; and her grandson, Forbes R. McCreery IV.
Funeral services were held Nov. 9, at Gerber Chapel in Webster Groves. Interment, Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
