Died: Monday, July 24, 2017
Votruba, George Emil Jr. died Monday, July 24, 2017.

Along with being a very loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, George enjoyed a very active life. In his early 20s he played professional baseball and made it as far as the Triple A Train League. After his marriage to Alice (Budding) in 1956, George III and Linda were born. George was always a very loyal and committed father to George and Linda.
George was a natural businessman and founded Kitchen and Bath Design in 1969. His business thrived and it afforded him the freedom to enjoy boating, especially at Lake of the Ozarks. He built many new friendships in the boating community and shared all that he had with family. He enjoyed a residence in St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., he loved to boat in the Gulf of Mexico, and he captained his own boat to Key West.
George’s dad (George Sr.) and mom (Ethel) were his biggest fans. He spent many weekends with his parents, fishing and laughing. In life he was truly blessed. Not surprisingly, he treated everyone with respect and appreciation. He was a tremendous caregiver to his late wife Jacqueline (who preceded him in death in January 2017). As George’s health decreased, his cheerfulness increased and even in his final moments he was content.

Daniel William May (born June 29, 1959 - Springfield, Illinois, died September 6, 2016 - Springfield, Missouri) was a committed husband and father, and a faithful traditional Catholic.
A man deeply devoted to his Catholic faith, Dan was the longtime coordinator of St. Peter’s Chains Mission, where he sought to do his part as a layman to provide access to sound Catholic teaching and the traditional sacraments.
Dan’s virtue was most brightly reflected in his tireless dedication to his family. As husband and father, he heeded his Savior's call to daily take up his cross and be sanctified by his vocation. Whether it was working 14-hour days in multiple jobs to support a growing family, adding a second story to the family home, or laying floors at his daughter's house, he was committed to providing all his skill, energy and time to the ones he loved.
In the little spare time he made for recreation, he enjoyed trimming trees, hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

He was an active member at Our Lady of the Pillar Catholic Church and active in the community, as well. Mr. Brown was instrumental in starting the St. Louis March of Dimes Golf Tournament in conjunction with the NFL. An avid golfer and long time member at Greenbriar Hills Country Club, “Downtown Rich Brown” never met a golfer or a course he didn’t like. He also made a mean whiskey sour!
