ALLEN, ALBERT A., age 76, died Sat., Aug. 3, 2002 at his home in Marion, OH, following a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in St. Louis, MO, July 13, 1926, the son of Albert Sr. and Anna Mary Weiss Allen. On June 17, 1950, Al married the former Esther 'Tess' Tesson, who survives in Marion; also survived by three children, Mark Allen of Louisville, KY, Pam Allen (Scott) Drew of Marion, OH and Charlie (Bobbette) Allen, of Wichita, KS; a sister, Sharon (Bud) Gettemeier of Florissant, MO; and 7 grandchildren. Al spent his entire life in aviation. Flying was both his work and his joy.
