Behnke, Joseph Stephen “Joey”, 22 days old, went to be with the Lord, Fri., July 29, 2016. Precious son of Barry and Graham (nee Waterhouse), dear brother of A.J., Tommy and Anna Kate, darling grandson of Gary and Patty Peterson, Jean and the late Myron Behnke.
Services: Visitation Wed., Aug. 3, 10 am at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church, 12928 Ladue Rd., with memorial service at 11 am. Memorials to catherinecares.org or Trinity Church (Kirkwood) Deacon’s Fund.
Gussie O. Burrows
1938 - 2016
Burrows, Gussie O. (nee Hurt), considered a saint amongst her peers, went home to be with her Lord and her love on Friday, August 5, 2016, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Burrows, Jr. for 58 years, loving, caring, devoted mother of Johnnie Geronimo Burrows, Linda Marie Burrows, Glenda Ann Burrows, Vanessa Shvonne Coley and Lakeyla Burrows, survived by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and was well loved by extended family and friends.
She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Meacham Park. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Funeral service Wed., Aug. 10, 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Meacham Park, 304 Meacham St., Kirkwood, MO 63122 with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment private.

Pieper, Rosa F. (nee Laney), July 11, 1930-August 5, 2016, formerly of Webster Groves, beloved wife of the late Jack L. Pieper, loving mother of Gary (Cathy) Pieper, Regina (Terry) Spencer and Janette Watt, dear grandmother of Terry, Cindy, Jessica, Luke, Lauren, Steven Jackie and Kristen, great-grandmother of 4. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Lillie Laney and one brother, Melvin Laney. Our dear, aunt, cousin and friend.

Devereux; loving mother of Jim (Jane), Tim, Dan (Doris), Greg (Torie), and the late Paul Devereux and mother-in-law of JoAnn Perry; doting grandma of Betsy (Bob) Cuneo, Amy (Jeff) Conboy, Cadey (Nate) Eastman, Jim (Sara) Devereux III, Annie (Todd) Oliverio, Molly (Nick) Dobkin, Paul (Crystal) Devereux Jr., Meggie (Grant) Gentzen, Abby Devereux, Bridget (Mike) Larson, and Lucy Devereux; dear great-grandmother of Caley, Roz, and Ella Cuneo; Jack, Patrick, Catherine, Annie, and Colin Conboy; George, Janie, and Margaret Eastman; Holden, and Killian Devereux; Reid Gentzen; Rowen Devereux; dear sister, aunt, and friend to many.
Jane was a generous, loving, and social person who was always at her best. She was active with Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis, as President of St. Louis University High Mothers Club, and as a member of Norwood Hills Country Club for 64 years.
Visitation at St. Gabriel the Archangel, 6303 Nottingham Ave, Thursday, August 4th, 2016, 10:00 am followed by 11:00 am Mass. Entombment Resurrection Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Boys Hope Girls Hope of St. Louis, www.boyshopegirlshopestl.org. Arrangements by Bopp Chapel.
Charles E. Harris
1933 - 2016
Charles E. Harris. July 9, 1933 to August 7, 2016. Born and lived in Springfield, IL until his health declined in 2013. He retired from his job as a technician for AT&T; in 1990. He moved closer to family in St Louis at the age of 80. He was cared for by 3 loving women, his mother Virginia, his wife Lillian until her death in 1987 and his wife Linda until her death in 2009. Survived by daughter Debbie Moran, son-in-law Paul and grandsons Joe, Ben, Nick, Andrew. His love of electronics, travel, baseball and candy will live on in his grandchildren.
Graveside service at Virden City Cemetery on Friday August 12 at 1 pm. Luncheon following the service. Donations can be made to Parkinson research

Shelp, Norma L. (nee McDaniel), age 93, gone to be with the Lord Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Edwin G. Shelp, dear mother of Susan E. (Edward J., Jr.) Lynch, the late Rodger G. Shelp, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister of Joy Cejka (“Jack”).
Member of Beta Sigma Phi, active member of Webster Hills United Methodist Church and P.E.O. Had a passion for traveling and loved gardening, cooking, and sewing. She was a big St. Louis Cardinals fan and the social secretary of the Knights of the Cauliflower Ear. Philanthropist for local and global causes, humanitarian, and great supporter of the St. Louis arts.
Visitation Tuesday, January 5 from 3-6 pm at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood. Funeral service Wed. at 10 am at Webster Hills United Methodist, 698 W. Lockwood. Interment at Oakridge Cemetery, Catawissa, MO.

Robinson for 52 years, cherished adopted daughter of the late William and Melita Heynen, loving mother of two wonderful adopted children, William Lee Robinson and Rochelle Lynn Wehrmeyer, dear grandmother of Jessica Lynn (Brian) Horton and Zachary Michael Wehrmeyer, great grandmother of Charlotte Anne Horton, loving sister in law of Charlie & Pat Ferbit and Betty Robinson, dear sister of Gene Fisher, dear aunt, great aunt and friend to many.

Kenneth “Pete” Denzin, Thursday, July 21, 2016
Beloved husband of Ilene Denzin (nee Kuhlmann) for 65 years; loving father of Karen (Mike) Smith, Greg (Lynn) Denzin, and Sandy (Kent) Ketchum; cherished grandfather of Josh, Ashley (Aaron) Teer, Zach, Abby, Caleb (Courtney), Hannah, and Gabe Smith; Pete and Luc Denzin; Katie (Ben) Williams and Nicole (Fletcher) Massie. He was a special Opa, great-grandfather of Ollie, Freddie, Lyla, Remy, Fiona, Davis, and Preston; dear brother-in-law and uncle Pete to many nieces and nephews.
Pete was loved by so many friends. He was an avid sports fan, a die-hard Cornhusker, a veteran of the Korean War, and will be greatly missed by all of us.
Funeral at Trinity Lutheran Church, 820 Lockett, Kirkwood, Wednesday, July 27th, 10:00 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Beermann, Ann Marie (Berra)
Our beloved Ann gave herself to the Lord on July 28th, 2016, enjoying 53 years of love with family & friends. Born to Paul M (deceased) & Betty on October 9, 1962, this began a lifetime of determination that would carry her thru joys & challenges. Her older brothers Paul & Rick (Pam) tormented/protected as needed. Her marriage to Larry Beermann brought celebrations with her extended family; Doug (Maureen), Rick (Karen), Phil (Carol), and Rita (Carl), along with becoming proud parents of Matthew & David.
Ann enjoyed spending time with a group of school friends with whom she remained close her entire life. Her outgoing personality prepared her for her roles as Director of Development at St. Joseph's Academy, her alma mater, and then as Director of Annual Giving at DeSmet Jesuit HS.
Ann is also survived by her aunt, Mickey Cushman, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Services: A strictly private service has been requested by the family. Friends are invited to a mass of celebration at 2:00 PM, Saturday August 13th at DeSmet Jesuit HS, 233 N. New Ballas Rd. A reception will follow.

Beloved wife of the late Frederick A., dear mother of Linda (Paul) Kraus, Laurie Rounds and Ellen (Tom) Mongey, dear grandmother of Katherine Woodard, Mary Ellen Going, David, Joseph & Stephen Kraus, Anna Smith, Heather, Kelly, Frederick (“Erik”) Rounds and Emily Mongey, dear great-grandmother of 17, dear sister of Robert (Jane) Perkinson, dear aunt and friend. Her siblings who have predeceased her are: Bill Perkinson, Madeline Sausvile, Jack and George Perkinson, Aileen Harlan, Rita Brennan.
Born 11/12/27 Genevieve Edith was the youngest of 8 children in the large extended Perkinson household in Richmond Heights, MO. She attended Little Flower school, Visitation and graduated from Villa Duchesne. She married Fred in February, 1948. She was a rock to her daughters Linda, Laurie and Ellen while husband Fred traveled the midwest for his family business. She loved entertaining family and friends. Sunday mass was always a priority for her and her girls. Her great joy was to witness Fred be baptized by Monsignor Slattery and have Bernadine Meyer as his Godmother in the mid-70's. After Fred's death in '96 she enjoyed her bridge games, reading, picture puzzles and dining with her good friend Tippy. She moved into the Gatesworth community in '11. Her family is very grateful for the support and care she received there.
