(nee Saneke), dear father of Ray, dear grandfather of Michael (Tracy), Michele (Eric) Jacobson, Elizabeth (Dan) Payne, dear great-great grandfather, uncle, cousin and dear friend.
Services: Visitation Sun., Feb. 21, 4-8 pm at BOPP CHAPEL, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. Funeral Mass Mon., 10 am at St. Peter Church, Kirkwood. Interment, National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter Church appreciated.
Kathleen Clark
1931 - 2016
Kathleen Theresa Clark (nee Sullivan), Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday, February 6, 2016. She was born February 21, 1931 to Kathleen and Timothy Sullivan Irish immigrants. She married John D. Clark Sr. in 1952. Together they had 5 children. Susie as she was always called from birth was a devoted house wife who after raising a family enjoyed donating her time to Meals on Wheels and The Cenacle. Attended church every day and never doubted her faith.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years John Donewald Clark Sr., her children John Clark Jr., Timothy Clark and wife Terry, Michael Guy Clark, Kathleen Laura Clark (Hood) and husband David and Patrick James Clark. Five wonderful grandchildren Margaret, Meredith, John, Joseph and Kathleen Hood. One very special nephew David Sullivan Rocchio. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Elizabeth Maureen, brother Timothy and sister Margaret Ann Sullivan.
Visitation from 10am until time of Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday, February 12, at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 1510 Bopp Rd, Des Peres, MO 63131. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
Betty Schene
1935 - 2016
Schene, Betty Jean (nee Mooney), 80, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Mercy Hospital due to heart failure. Wife of the late Jerry Schene. Dear Mother of Kathy Freeman (Pat), Glen Schene (Sally), Pam Schmieder (Doug), Patti Schene, Steve Schene (Rebecca), and the late Susan Hofer. Grandmother of twelve and Great Grandmother of eight.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Betty graduated from Ladue High School in 1953. She married her husband, Jerry Schene, in 1955. Her greatest joy was her family.
Funeral service Mon., Feb. 15, 10 am at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 5252 S. Lindberg Blvd., Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Sat. 3-8 pm at BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood.

Janet Fausek
1926 - 2016
Fausek, Janet (nee Conner) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, February 8, 2016. Beloved wife of Vince Fausek for 65 year. Dear mother of Jeannine Salm and Margaret Rustman. Dear Grandmother of 5 and Great-Grandmother of 7. Dear sister of June Aydt, Betty Madden, Robert Conner, and the late Dorothy Conner, Jack Conner, William Conner, and Patricia Blood. Dear aunt and friend to many.
Born in 1926, she was a graduate of Ursuline Academy, studied Voice at Webster College, and was a Girl Scout Leader for twelve years, a 26 year hospital volunteer, a veteran choir member, and a Junior Life Master bridge player. A lifelong home-maker and a resident of Warson Woods for 47 years.
A Funeral Mass was held at Ste. Genevieve du Bois Catholic Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The BackStoppers or the Alzheimer’s Association.
James Bright
1929 - 2016
James Orleigh Bright Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on February 11, 2016 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of 62 years to Norma Bright (nee Ringhausen). Great father and father-in-law to Joan (the late John) Green, Beth (Dan) Green, the late Barbara, Sue (Dennis) Done, David (Jeanette) Bright. Son of the late Orleigh and Isabel Bright and brother to the late Imogene. Dear Grandpa B to Justin, Jenny, Julie, Matt, Mary, Erin, Emily and Joe. Dear Grandpa GG to Lily and GPappa to Hadley and Harper.
Jim was born in Paris, Illinois in 1929 to Orleigh and Isabel Bright. He had an older sister, the late Imogene Bright. Jim attended the University of Illinois Class of 1951 and was a member of the Marching Illini. His BS degree was in Chemical Engineering. He received his MS degree from Washington University in 1960, also in Chemical Engineering.
He was employed by Monsanto for 40 years, retiring in 1991. He worked in various areas of research, finance, manufacturing and engineering management. Jim traveled extensively worldwide during his career. He also served 2 years in the Army Chemical Corps stationed in Denver CO.
Jim was an accomplished musician playing both the clarinet and saxophone in high school, college, dance bands and many community bands. His hobbies included hunting, boating, golf, woodworking, home maintenance and financial activities. He was a Kirkwood resident for over 55 years. He enjoyed spending time at their log cabin in Bay, MO on the Gasconade River and also their house at The Lake of the Ozarks.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: American Diabetes Association, Prostate Cancer Foundation, National Cancer Institute.

Leo was Past State Deputy of the Knights of Columbus, a member of Kirkwood Council #2117 and a 4th degree member of St. Louis Assembly. (Service Wed., 7pm.)

Dorothy L. "Dottie" Shippey, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016
Loving daughter of Merle and Ethel Shippey; dear cousin of and friend to many.
Dottie was a long time physical education teacher at Webster Groves High School. She made many friends and enjoyed operating a doggy daycare, bowling and playing bridge.
Visitation at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood, Saturday, January 30th, 10:30 am until service begins at 11:00 am.
Steven Willibrand
1958 - 2016
Dr. Steven S Willibrand returned to the Lord peacefully and surrounded by love on February 11, 2016, at the age of 57. Steve bravely battled Synovial Sarcoma for 4 years. He is survived by his parents, James and Eleanor Willibrand. Steve was a beloved and dedicated husband for 36 years to his wife Lori (nee Hanhardt) Willibrand. Dear Father to his children, daughter Courtney Willibrand Proctor, son in law Rick Proctor, and son Tyler Willibrand. Brother and sister in law, George and Lee Murray; Uncle to Emily Murray, Julie Murray Kozikowski, Hope and Hannah Sterkel. Recently thrilled to become great uncle to Oliver Kozikowski; and a dear friend to many. Steve was preceded in death by his sister Christy (nee Willibrand) Murray; his mother and father in law, Annette Hanhardt and Raymond Hanhardt.
Dr. Steve, as his beloved patients called him, graduated top of his class at UMKC Dental School and practiced dentistry for 30 years. He loved to get out and see the wonders of God's creation in nature and animals. He loved the mountains of Colorado, was an avid skier in the winter, and loved hiking the mountain trails in the summer. Being an outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish; he enjoyed going to his farm as much as possible, planting crops, chopping trees and feeding his albino catfish in the lake. Steve was a wonderful dentist, but a "wanna be" farmer at heart. Steve was loved for his booming laugh and smile that filled a room. His last several years were tough but he was a fighter.

Joanne C. Abling
1930 - 2016
Joanne C. Abling (nee Stoll), 85, peacefully passed away after a long struggle with Parkinson’s disease on Sunday, February 14, 2016. Dear wife of the late Leiland E. Abling and sister of the late Rose Marie Gehrs. She is survived by her loving sons Stephen (Susan) and Ronald (Victoria), sister Virginia Meine, our grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to many.
Joanne was devoted to her family; enjoyed entertaining and cooking delicious meals for her family and friends. While raising her family she discovered a passion and talent for the decorative art of tole painting. This soon led to teaching which brought her many satisfying friendships with her students and a love of the art they created together.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of memorial service at 11:00 AM at Bopp Chapel 10610 Manchester Rd in Kirkwood.
