Conrad C. Schuessel, Sr., Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at age 70 on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Conrad was the most loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many people. He was the most optimistic and positive man. To anyone who had the pleasure of sharing in a part of his life, you were so blessed. He was good and kind to everyone and was willing to help anyone in need. He made everyone feel welcomed in our home. If you were looking for the perfect host, it was Conrad. He was enthusiastic all the time, and he was always great for a good prank and believe me when I tell you they were priceless. He had an infectious smile and a laugh that would make us all laugh. His optimism and sense of humor were infectious and his one liners are still laughed about, remembered and used to this day by many others. He always told everyone to make everyday a great day as there is no rewind. One of my favorites was when he was asked, How are you Conrad? His response was always, "I'm with you so it must be a good day." At 3:00 a.m. on the day he passed he said, "Debbie, how are you doing?" I said, "I'm with you so it must be a good day. How are you doing?" His reply was, "I feel the same way." He loved with all of his heart and now half of my heart has been broken and is with him in Heaven. I met Conrad on January 3rd, 1969 and it was love at first sight for both of us. I am so honored and privileged to be able to call Conrad my soul mate and the love my life for 46 years.
