Funeral services were held Nov. 11 at Family Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Vaughan.
Survivors include: his parents, J.C. Johnson and Arleaf Taylor; sisters, Shirley Taylor of Atlanta, Joyce E. Taylor of Honolulu, Hawaii, Alezia Taylor of Egypt and Rosiland Williams of Chicago; brothers, Otis Taylor of Arizona, Jeffery Johnson, Jarvis Johnson and Jerome Johnson, all of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Funeral services were held Nov. 17 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Ridgeland with burial in Jackson Cemetery in Madison.
Survivors include: his wife of 11 years, Darlene Sanders of Ridgeland; daughters, Allison Kuhn and Jill Dean, both of Ridgeland; grandson, Caleb Dean of Ridgeland; and brother, Paul Sanders of Monroe, La.; and a nephew and six nieces.

Anslum A. "Sonny" Strong Jr., 78, of Madison died Nov. 12, 2003, at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Nov. 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gluckstadt.
Survivors include: his wife Hazel Strong of Madison; sons, Randall Strong and wife Sherry of Canton, Dennis Strong and wife Judy of Madison, and Charles Strong and wife Linda of Madison; daughter, Sondra Box and husband Paul of Madison; grandchildren, Jason Strong and wife Stephanie of Madison, Matt Strong and wife Christy of Grenada, Alison Strong of Canton, Natalie, Lisa and Miriam Strong, all of Madison, Lindsay and Adam Box of Madison; great-grandson, Auston Strong of Grenada; and brother, Arthur Strong and wife Doris of Canton.

Lucy Robinson Hovious, 76, of Vicksburg died Nov. 17, 2003, at River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg.
Funeral services were held Nov. 19 at J. Charles Riles Funeral Home Chapel in Vicksburg with a separate graveside service at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Jackson.
Survivors include: her husband, Nat Hovious of Vicksburg; daughter, Lucy Weber and husband Greg of Madison; two grandchildren, Katherine and Nathan Weber of Madison; two sisters, Margaret Robinson of Asheville, N.C., and Ida Wickham of Charlotte, N.C.; and nieces and nephews.
