Mary Nester Morgan, 95, of Canton died Sept. 14, 2003, at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sept. 17 at Canton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Canton City Cemetery.
Survivors include: her husband of 68 years, Robert Calvin Morgan of Canton; daughter, Gwyneth Morgan Baddley and husband Dr. William Baddley of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren, Cynthia Baddley Kelly and husband Edward of Nashville, Tenn., Dr. John William Baddley and wife Lorelle of Birmingham., Ala., and Rebecca Baddley Porch and husband Todd of Dallas, Texas; and stepsister, Betty Bauer and husband Donald of Frederickburg, Woods Cemetery in Jackson. Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Survivors include: her mother, Clarece Dillon Coney of Canton; sisters, Linda Valerie Mims and husband Lester of Los Angeles, Gail Antoinette Smith and husband Charles of Jackson, Eddye Lujeanne Lane and husband Michael of Columbia, S.C., and Patrice Renee Simmons and husband Jerome of Savannah, Ga.; brothers, Romorno Eugene Coney of Denver, Parker Riley, 54, of Ridgeland died Aug. 17, 2003, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Graveside services were held Aug. 20 in Golden Grove Community Cemetery in Neshoba County. Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison handled arrangements.
Survivors include: her son, Robert Joseph Riley and wife Tracey of Eunice, N.M.; brother, Jeff Texas; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Texas, Louise Elder of Chicago and Wilbert Elder of Richmond, Indianapolis, Ind.; 42 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Alvain Love Evans, 85, of Canton died July 31, 2003, at Madison County Medical Center in Canton.

Evans Jr., all of Canton, Shirley McGruder and husband Len of Sharon, Charley C. Evans of Chicago; stepchildren, Helen Johnson of San Antonio, Texas, and Linda Smith of Tylertown; grandchildren, Dennis King and wife Lisa of Batesville, Wes King and wife Linda of Madison, Michael Hardy and wife Christi, and John Hardy and wife Christi, all of Canton; and 10 great-grandchildren.
