Survivors include: his wife, Nell Kelly of Canton; children, Jessie Kelly of Carthage, Bobby Kelly of Jackson, Flora Jordan and husband Johnny of Jackson, and Doris Tate of Gary, Ind.; and brothers, Leon Griffin, Stanford Griffin and Selmon Griffin.

Survivors include: husband Richard L. Williams of Brandon; stepsons, Richard "Ricky" Williams Jr. of Boyce, La., Dennis Williams of Ball, La., and Andy Williams of Effie, La.; stepdaughters, Marie Wooten of DeVille, La., and Karen Smith of West Memphis, Ark.; brothers, Wayne Coker of Lancaster, Texas, Ann Drew of Clinton; and 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Handy, Irene Echols and husband Pete, and Maude Parker of Lansing, Mich; and brothers, Roger Lee Scott and wife Nancy of Camden, and Walter James Scott and wife Josephine of Lansing, Mich.

Stanley Oliver Gilbert Jr., 71, of Canton died June 20, 2003, in Madison.
Funeral services were held June 23 at Breeland Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with burial in the Canton Cemetery.
Survivors include one niece and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Gilbert, who died in 1989.
